Horrible customer service! I special ordered a chair for my nursery. The sales rep said it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. One month later when I got home from the hospital with a newborn baby, I called to check on it. This time, they said it should take 6-8 weeks. I called after 8.5 weeks. It was in. And it had been sitting in the back room for THREE WEEKS. I was livid. Nobody called me. I received no email, even though their managers were insistent that an automatic email sent to inform me. 3 weeks of awkwardly nursing and uncomfortably bouncing my baby to sleep on the side of the bed when I could have used the $400+ chair that I paid cash for over 2 months ago! The manager claimed there was nothing she could do. Theres ALWAYS something you can do. You are the manager. She suggested I call corporate. Corporate apologized for the inconvenience and offered a $20 gift card for my hassle. He also said I should avoid the Rockford store because it seems to be a mess. The store manager pinned in on corporate saying whoever I talked to "didnt know what he was doing". CLASSY. At the end of the day, I am still waiting for a supervisor from corporate to return my call from 6 days ago. Im really holding my breath. Save yourself the hassle and just order any major purchases online or from another store. The only highlight is that I absolutely love the chair. I just wish I had it while my babe was cluster feeding and up all night.

Everytime we go there, it seems very dirty. Especially the entrance. There is typically only one cashier. We stopped in there to buy our granddaughter a gift the day before New Years Eve. The one and only cashier had a line of several customers - a good manager would have noticed and gotten another cashier up there quickly. When we finally got to the checkout, she was more interested in checking her facebook on her phone which she had laying between the register and the wall. Not friendly and absolutely no greeting. When I swiped our debit card, I was waiting for a receipt, but she just kept scrolling through her facebook comments. I finally spoke up and asked if the card went through and she reluctantly said no and I realized I should have inserted it because of the chip. Anyway, this will be my last visit. Ive yet to have a good shopping experience here, but this was the straw that broke the camels back.

I typically enjoy going to this store. Today I went with my mom and 3 week old daughter to the Rockford location. I was pleased to find out there is a mothers room for nursing moms and my daughter needed to nurse while we were shopping. I made my way to the mothers room and just began getting everything ready when in comes the store Santa for his lunch break. He asked if I needed to feed her and I answered yes but he continued to make himself comfortable on the couch and took out his lunch and started eating. I was completely thrown off and did not feel comfortable nursing in front of this strange man alone in this room. So I ended up packing my things and leaving with my now screaming and hungry daughter. I thought it was terrible that the store would allow this man to use the mothers room as a break room. I left very disappointed and upset about my experience.

Decent place to pick out toys. If youre looking for that must have toy for your child, odds are, its here. Theyve changed up the floor plan since I remembered it as a child (which was more like a maze). Its much easier to walk around. Its always been quick to checkout, and the store is in good shape. There is a Babys R Us attached, and you can walk to/from either store from inside. So if you need something for the little person in your life, its convenient to just walk over to the baby section. This store is at the end of a large plaza, so its often helpful if youre running errands to hit Office Max, Five Below, Verizon, Kohls, and a ton of other stores to accomplish a large part of your weekend errands, without driving all over the place.

Store was clean and parking was well kept. Staff were chatting amongst themselves while a few other guests and I were wandering about trying to find an open cashier. When we finally got to check out, our cashier was speaking to us while another staff member interrupted/spoke over her to say she was going on break or something. I know the chain is struggling to stay afloat in general, so I would expect a competitive edge in terms of service. Im sorry to say this was not the case upon my visit.

There are many, many items to choose from. You are likely to find something for every young one in your life. The only issue is that during non-holiday times they usually have no cashiers at the checkout area and you either need to go to customer service or electronics to check-out.

This place has no registers open and the employees took there time checking people out at the service desk with returns. Had some stuff to check out ended up just leaving because of the wait and realised out stuff was broken anyways. I Do not recommend this store

It is a great store, it has pretty good action figures, it doesnt need shelf-warmer Sheamus anymore, I mean seriously, who needs another freaking Sheamus. Other than that its a great store.

Store is always a mess. Prices are marked wrong often When you call no one answers and then hangs up after so many rings

Good selection of Star Wars toys. Sometimes it takes awhile to get checked out
