Having a really good local bike shop is like having a good spouse... they enhance your life greatly and can make you a better version of you. Having now purchased 2 mid-range mountain bikes from Bicycles, Etc, I can tell you that these guys are the real deal. Theyre a reliable source for new bikes, and more importantly they do awesome work when your ride needs service (and they all do eventually at some point). I just bought a new Cannondale MTB to replace my fairly ancient Gary Fisher that I bought here back in 2007. After a few rides I had a handful of silly little problems (loose cables, seatpost sliding, etc)- all typical of a new bike that gets ridden a lot. Some of these were pretty trivial, but the guys here are super cool and fixed the issues for me, free of charge. When I started having more trouble with my wheels (spokes breaking, rim bending) these guys worked out a deal with Cannondale to get me a brand new set of heavy duty wheels to replace my clearly crappy factory ones. They didnt even charge me extra labor to do the work. Youll definitely pay a premium here for bikes and service compared to Target or Wal-Mart. What youll get in return is an awesome team that really knows their stuff, they stand behind their products, and they want you as a customer for life.

So I lose my lock-ring to screw on my cassette to my hub, and call up B.E. and say "Hey, can you guys do me a favor? I lost my lock-ring tool, and need my cassettes screwed on to my hub. Is it cool if you guys screw it on if I stop in?" The guy replies, sure come on in. I get in, hand him the wheel and cassette and tell him thanks. He comes back out in 2 min and says $10. I ask if its cool if I purchase something to offset the cost of the labor, (120 seconds of) and he looks at me cross-eyed and says "NO" in a stern voice, and charges me $10 to basically screw in a threaded part. I dont know if Ive ever seen customer service like that before from a bike shop. I guess Ill drive out of my way to the next shop next time. I had just spent a good bill or 2 there a few months ago. Oops.

I bought a bike for my wife at another trek store and they were not customer friendly. Didnt even help my wife to the car with the bike. Bought a bike here two weeks later and what a difference. Great people to do business with. Even shared a great app for my smart phone for tracking. Great job great people. Fred did a great job ask for him

After years of bad dealership experiences I was terrified to leave my bike at a dealer. However, Mike assured and guaranteed me that the bike will be fine. He was right. The work was done accurately, timely and reasonably priced. Best part, not a smudge on the bike! World class.

The guys at Bicycles Etc are great. Nothing but the best customer service youll find at a bike shop. Mike knows everything about bicycles and the whole team is VERY quick and trustworthy with the services they provide. I would give this business a 6/5 if possible.

I bought my mountain bike there 10 years ago and would never take it anywhere else for a tuneup. I also have other bikes that have been neglected I will be bringing in for tuneups. This place is the BEST

Needed to fix a flat tire. They were able to take care of it in 20 minutes and it only cost $18! The staff is also friendly and knowledgeable, I will definitely be going back again!
