After purchasing everything that one would need to get involved in road cycling, I knew the smartest investment I could make in myself, was taking it to a professional to have it fitted. If anyone has ever road a 12-speed, you should know that a proper fitment is essential, or your body will pay dearly. I went on facebook and found a local cycling club, and was given recommendations for REI, MOAB, and East Nashville Cycles. Stopped into East Cycles (prior to purchasing bike) and was advised that it would be $65/hr for a fitting (reasonable, plus it would likely take less than 1 hr, at which point they advised they would pro-rate). I then moved onto REI, and was given in the same $ cost, but could be at least 11 days before getting the bike back. Now onto the meat! Walked into MOAB of Franklin, and they saw me within 1 hr, and I was fitted, bars, and seat adjusted in less than 30 mins. Best part?! Well, lets just say the price CAN NOT be beat by any other shop big or small. The price was so great (remember, I did not buy my bike or ANY of my cycling gear from them prior to walking in), I chose to indulge and buy additional MOAB swag for my bike such as tire levers, water bottle, swiftwick socks, and a jersey top - just so I felt like I was not stealing their time & $$ from the fitting. If you are even close to this shop and want to establish a relationship with a LBS (Local Bike Shop), go nowhere else! Thanks MOAB and I cant for the day to come where I can upgrade my bike at some point in the future and give you that business too! -Jayson

Horrible Customer Service. First time i went in there a younger gentleman helped me look at bikes and immediately sized me up and said "this would be at the top of your budget" without asking me what im looking for. He showed me a $2K bike when im looking at spending upwards of $5K. Wont be buying a bike from them EVER! Second time went in to buy a replacement shifter cable and stood there for 20 minutes waiting for help. Ended up leaving and bought shifter cables, new shifters 3x8 and matching derailers. Both times ended up going to RBs Cyclery off of Seaboard Lane behind Costco and within 30 seconds was helped. Id rather do the drive and be respected when i spend money than be sized up and down. Ditch the attitude and maybe you will survive in Franklin.

Needed a crucial repair during a road trip and received conscientious, excellent assistance -- both over the phone and in person. Strong shop with friendly staff. Good floor stock of many different bikes. Properly trained and well-supplied repair area. Hallmark of a place that takes cares about cyclists: experienced riders hanging out with the mechanics.. Over 35 years of riding and racing, Ive frequented bike stores all over the country, and this places has all the attributes of the best ones. Would love to live closer so I could become a regular.

Its the best bike shop in Franklin, Tennessee. Everyone is very helpful. Ive had service on my bike there a number of times, and its always top quality. Most recently, near closing time, I came in with an issue. It was diagnosed in two minutes, then, instead of checking it in with hope that I could pick it up the next day, the tech asked if I wanted to wait for it to be fixed. I said yes, of course. The new chain was installed in minutes and I was quite happy with everything. I highly recommend Moab... theye the best.

Had a tune-up put on my road bike two weeks ago. When I went to pick it up, the rear bearings were loose and the front was to tight. They adjusted it again while I waited. Got home only to find that both wheels werent centered in the frame. During my 1st ride, the front brake came apart because they stripped the threads and just put them on without fixing them. Not a good experience.

These guys are great to work with and the Franklin shop is super convenient for me since it is only a few blocks from the office. They put the customer first and I could not be more than happy with my purchase and build of my new MTB. Even with some Specialized issues from the factory, they have been great with the warranty claims and facilitations. I appreciate you all!

Ive been a loyal MOAB customer for 10 years. They always treat me (and others Ive talked with, including the parents of young children customers) like Im the most important person in the shop. Mark Dement is a hard-working, knowledgeable and kind owner and his staff follow his lead, from what Ive experienced over the years.

My chain had dropped off the front gear and was jammed around the front axle. I took it into Moab Bike Shop on a Saturday afternoon and within 10 minutes they had removed the front gear, un-jammed the chain and got me back on the road. Did not charge me a thing... amazing. I love this place!

Seriously cannot say enough about these guys. They always go the extra mile to make sure Im happy. I had a serious problem with my bike that was caused by the factory. These guys stayed hours after closing time to get my problem solved, so I was able to ride on the weekend.

Great shop with great staff. Kyle and Jeremy are awesome. Theyve been patient with my questions as a relatively new cyclist, and theyve helped me tweak my 15-year-old bike to get the best riding experience from it that I can without breaking the bank.
