I got into the sport of cycling seven months ago when I started training for triathlons. I came to Spokes Naperville knowing that I wanted a triathlon/tt bike but with only a mediocre knowledge level when it came to cycling. I ended up purchasing my first tri/tt bike from them for several reasons. First, the personable service. I have been to spokes approximately 8-9 times in the last seven months and they always remember who I was. I came into the shop three times even before I purchased my bike and each time they remembered me. 2. When purchasing my bike they took into account my goals, training level, body type/size and price range and recommended a few different bikes all of which I was invited to try out to find the right one for me. Once I found the right bike for me, they fitted me to the bike to get my optimal comfort and power levels out of it. 3. Since purchasing the bike I have purchased triathlon specific cleats and then a new saddle. Each time I had to get my fit adjusted, which they gladly did. 4. Every time I am in there I have a new list of questions I found out through reading sport specific books and magazines that they gladly take the time to answer from their personal experience/knowledge. I mentioned that I was nervous about getting a flat while out on the triathlon course since I have never dealt with one. They took me back into the service area and showed me how to change a flat on both the front and rear wheels!! How cool?! I literally can not say enough great things about this shop. Spokes has a great staff who provide both knowledgeable and personal service. They have been nothing but help since I have joined the sport of cycling. They create community in the sport, hosting group rides as well. I drive an hour north to get to the shop due to the many reasons I listed above. Stop by and I am sure you will feel the same.

I wasnt really impressed when I went into the store. The store had a good selection of bikes, but it seemed like only one of the workers knew about the bikes and I had to wait while he was on the phone. When I said I was looking for a nice bike at a reasonable price, he showed me a $500 bike (nearly $60 dollars over the average price per the Giant website)...When I told him I didnt mind an older model, he told me the newer ones are better and I wouldnt be getting as good of a bike. I didnt feel like he was hearing me, so I wont be going back when I purchase my bike. Maybe a $350 - $400 bike sale wasnt worth the business...kinda felt that way.

Outstanding/Friendly Service! The team at Spokes is always friendly. We are treated very well and feel appreciated when we walk through the door. Basil and Kyle are extremely respectful and knowledgeable, providing great advice. My wife and I have purchased 2 (Specialized) road bikes and 2 (Giant) mountain bikes – along with accessories and clothing. I have referred multiple friends to Spokes and they’ve purchased bikes too. I will definitely continue to go to Spokes! The Greeks

I was shopping around for a bicycle rack for the trunk of my car, and when I spoke with the store manager via phone - he was very polite, said he had 2-bike & 3-bike racks in stock. I visited the store next day, where he didnt pressure me into buying any particular product - he explained the details of each and I made my choice. Then he went so far as to install the rack onto my car and show me how to use it! Incredible customer service. And very friendly and polite!!

Fantastic, the only word I can describe this shop and its management. Very easy going and decent folks. Nice bike and accessories selection and if its not in shop they get it in within a couple of days. They have an awesome no drop group ride on Sundays(35 to 50+ miles). They help you become a cyclist. Riders are all ages so you never feel out of place and get to meet very nice people and make great friends. You cant go wrong here! Nader

I just bought my first road bike at the Naperville Spokes store and I couldnt be more satisfied. They have a wide rage of bicycles and very knowledgeable staff. They recommended me a bike and Im so happy that I went there. I highly recommend this store they know what they are doing and they have excellent and nice staff who can help you with anything you need when it comes to bicycles. Thanks guys for the bike!

Awesome service!!! Ive never heard this man swear. I drive extra far just to get great service from Basil. Owner and staff have great knowledge of there bikes and accessories. You have to experience it for yourself. Im sure you wont be disappointed. I always take my kids with and they have a blast. If you want to know the truth you have to go!!! You be the judge. Im not getting paid for this! Junior.

Its a surpise to read the negative comments because I have been going to this store for more than 3 years and have experienced nothing but friendly service. Basil (the owner) is extremely knowledgabe about his merchandise and is alawys eager to help. I started off not knowing anything about bikes and thanks to Basil and my own motivation, I now cant get off my bike. Great Store! Great Service!

I went in here looking for a road bike and before I could tell the salesperson helping me what I wanted or anything that Im looking for, he pointed at one, looked at me, and shouted "BUY THIS BIKE" I think that says a lot about a person and a shop as a whole. I didnt even want to continue looking after that experience, and the muddy and tightly enclosed atmosphere didnt help.

I purchased my bike here. Not sure what other people are saying, but I never experienced anything but friendly service any of the times Ive been in the shop. The times Ive had bikes in for repair, like this summer when I dropped off my mountain bike for a tune-up, Ive had them back within a few days. No other shop in the area has been able to get repairs done faster for me.

Im 41 and hadnt rode a bike since my teens, but it is now time to purchase bicycles for my children, my wife and I. We found the people at Spokes-Naperville to be very knowledgable and very helpful in selecting and properly sizing bicycles for my family. I would highly recommend them if you are in the area looking for a new bike.

Extremely satisfied with their customer service. Basil was great to work with in purchasing new bikes. He took his time with us, educated us, and walked us through installing a bike rack onto our car. Definitely recommend this shop for anyone interested in buying a bike or accessories. In 07 or 08 I was in the store I had to leave in a hurry I dropped my wallet with a few hundred dollars in it. Before I realized and tracked it down later that day he had already sent a letter to my house letting me know he had it. Im not a frequent customer but I would recommend this store.
