I asked a friend of mine for a recommendation a several years ago, as we were new to the area. She gave me a card for Guarnteed Appliance. The owners name escapes me right now... However, the house we bought had several decent looking relatively new appliances. I needed someone to evaluate them and tell me if they were worth keeping, or tossing and starting out new. He fixed the washing machine with about $12 part. The stove was a fairly new May tag, but wasnt working. That too he fixed for about $20 I wanna say. Its been a while, so I dont have exact amounts. But I will say, I still have both of those appliances. I almost wish theyd break just so I can buy some new stuff, lol. My husband is a service technician for Dental equipment. Hes done it for over 30 yrs. My experience with guaranteed kinda reminded me of when my husband does a service call for a new office. He always sets aside the old part, (that hes replaced) as well as the box from the new part so that before he leaves the office, he can show the person in charge what hes done, as well as the evidence that he has indeed changed/fixed the problem. Thats what was done at my house. They fixed what I needed. He had one part at the office, the other one we had to order. It was still very quick {One Appliance was fixed same day, the other like 2 days later} And very affordable!! Hey, Ive gotten at least 5 yrs out of both those appliances. The oven is still going strong. I will indeed call them again, and, as a matter of fact; I have a service call scheduled for next week. Yes, Mike, thats his name.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I used their services two weeks ago and it was a horrible experience! First of all they were over 2 hours later than their window! when I actually opened up the door they didnt even apologize for being late. Then they were dressed like they came out of the trailer. Not professional at all. They then fixed my WHITE appliances and proceeded to make grease marks on the appliances that I cannot get out with any cleaning solution. When they were "done" they just left and made ME THROW AWAY all the parts they had. They didnt clean up A THING! The only reason Im publishing on the internet is because I called their offices an hour after they left and I calmed down and asked them to at least call and apologize to ME for their horrible services. 2 weeks later they did not even return my phone call. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! HORRIBLE SERVICES!

I used this business for an appliance call on an oven problem. They must have hired this guy off the street and expect him to learn as he goes. Their repair person had as much knowledge of the oven as I do reading repair manuals. The part failure is not that common on my range but repairable. He left with no written diagnosis or a discussion on a repair solution in the future. Just a bill for his visit. Upon leaving my driveway, this guy back his truck up my house sidewalk and flower bed to turn around, instead of using the driveway turn around. Summary: Horrible experience .

Wouldnt even rate them one star, but google is making me select a star. They have very poor customer service!!! They say they are going to call and dont call!!! Take time of work for the appointment set up then get a call saying no, all techs are busy and we cant make it out until next week!!! Have no concern that customers have taken days off of work to get service done, just to say sorry I got to busy to call and say we cant make it... REALLY!!! THEY MESSED UP AND ARE NOT WILLING TO TRY AND FIX THEIR MISTAKE!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Cant say much about any house-call service, as Ive only used GAP for purchasing the part I need and putting it in myself. For this, theyve always had the part I needed in stock and for the best deal around - never crazy cheap but always reasonable. The location is odd, and it seems too small a store to have everything they/I would need. But like I said, I havent had any hang-ups yet.

Very honest business. Polite knowledgeble repairman. Very reasonable prices! I had 2 different companies look at my dishwasher, it was melting my plastic cups. He called the mfgr and was told to.make sure there was a gap for venting heat. We removed the trim and.it solved the prob! It turns out to be a common.prob with that brand.

We have lived in Lake in the Hills for 23 years and have called on Mike many times and he has always been knowledgeable, friendly and charged a fair price. He has also provided helpful information on keeping our appliances running properly. He has worked on our stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer. He is on time and reliable.

Katie was very helpful, friendly, and easy to deal with, had the parts I needed instock and was even able to give me some pointers on how to make the job easy. The owner will even come out to your house to do the repairs for you if needed.

This guy does not know anything about repairing appliances. He is a parts changer. I threw this guy out of my house and would never let this company do any work. He cut the seal around the dishwasher to let it breath, what an idiot.

I have used them several times to get parts for my appliances. They always call me when it is in and charge a fair price. I highly recommend them.
