I met up with a salesman, PAUL that should have been selling used cars. Unfortunately, my parents convinced me he was honest. I should have trusted my own instincts!! Paul told me lie after lie which I only found out after I was stuck with these unreliable appliances. Paul sold me a convect microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, stove and washer and dryer. It has been 3 years since my mistake purchase. Ive had the refrigerator repairman out 4 times to fix the same problem. My refrigerator had to be replaced. My washer and dryer are the worst Ive ever had, even when I was poor. The repair man has been out 5 times to replace the dryer panel. He is coming again Thursday. It takes 4 hours to dry 1 load and thats being nice. You can see how frustrated I am when I do 4 loads a day! This purchase was to save me time not for me to live in my laundry room. He only sold it to me to get it off his floor. I am buying a new washer and dryer this week. My oven will be the next to have to be replaced as it burns 1/2 of pan of cookies and leaves other 1/2 raw. I am so disappointed, I could cry every time I hear the name GRAND APPLIANCE!!! I wasted so much of our money trusting a man that only wanted to make a buck for himself and cared nothing about what I would have to live with. PLEASE RECONSIDER PURCHASING FROM THIS STORE, DONT PAY THE PRICE!!

I purchased an oven and refrigerator from the Libertyville location. The sales person was a bit arrogant, but talked up how they were a family-owned, local business that stood behind their products. I try to support local Libertyville businesses so I wanted to give Grand my business. When I had issues with the oven, the whole "we stand behind our products" went out the window, and they just gave me GEs toll-free number. Long story short, GE determined that Grands installers screwed up the installation of the oven, and they said this wasnt the first time theyve seen issues with appliances from Grand. Grand was of absolutely no help after the sale, even though the cause of the issues were installation related. Ive come to the conclusion that Grand just cares about separating you from your money.

My new dishwasher is really quiet. The salesperson suggested I buy a Bosch. I diddnt really believe him when he said it would be noticeable, but i cant even hear when it is on. The delivery crew was professional and on time and my new appliances made hosting Thanksgiving a breeze. I am very happy with my purchase and I love the idea of buying local.

I been buying stuff for many years. You may have bad experiences on and off with sales guys but for long run you will be batter off with this company. They been around for many years. That tells you something.
