Is this how you treat a loyal client ?!! Extremely disappointing customer service at John Hancock Tower Chicago, IL. I have equipped my whole company with computers and softwares from Best Buy last October 2016 (estimate $7,000). Just recently, this past January, I bought a Canon camera and a 60 mm macro Lens worth $1,000 total. I was highly satisfied with my purchase as always. I then went back last month to make another purchase to equip the office with another advanced Canon camera. I mistakenly purchased the wrong one, when I went back to return it they refused to take it back because I was ONE DAY LATE according to their return policy. AGAIN ONE DAY LATE. Thats not a way to treat a loyal client and a shame that you dont care about maintaining a good relationship. the managers name of this location is JASON and the gentleman that I first talked to was KEVIN. Both acted indifferently and did not care about my business obviously even after I showed them a receipt of a previous large purchase I made a month before from the same location. Its quite embarrassing honestly and a shame that I write a bad review about a company I used to enjoy shopping at. I will take my business elsewhere.

A good place to try, but not to buy, should be called Best Try instead of Best Buy. Increasingly, Best Buy has lost its competitive edge, especially to online retailers, which offer more choice and better prices. This Best Buy is centrally located and offers customers access to the some, not all, of the latest and greatest gadgets. I find the display section for tablets pretty up to date, most of them are powered and work well, which gives customers a good hands on experience with the product that they are thinking of buying. Other sections like the mobile phone section (too little working phones to try), laptops (limited range of laptops in terms of price and specs) and cameras (a little dated) offer little appeal to the consumer. Also the prices at Best Buy are on the high side. So unless you need your gadget immediately, youre better of trying it out and Best Buy and then going online to find the best deal.

Absolute worst customer service ever. I went into exchange an online order and it never shipped. After I called and spent 41 minutes being bounced around to numerous people and put on hold I learned my order never actually placed despite paying in cash the difference of price. I had to go back into the store to fix this. I spent another 45 minutes in the store and the manager told the girl to give me the fastest shipping they had at no charge and she told me I wouldnt get it until July 16 another whole week. I asked for express or over night and she told me she couldnt do it. They didnt even offer to give me a discount or anything. I wasted 2 hours of my time, paid for shipping and I have to wait over 2 weeks to get my product. Im Never buying from here agAin. You pay for the inconvenience and lack of customer service.

Security guy aggressively interrupted us because we were taking out ipad cases to try them for fit.. These boxes were not sealed, and several were already opened. In fairness, the last one I opened tore a bit as I put the case back in, which was unfortunate. The others were exactly as I found them. Cases are an accessory that needs to be held to be evaluated. Many of these boxes are designed to make it easy to remove the case. If he had wanted to open them himself and be helpful, that wouldve been nice. Instead he acted like a bouncer. Ill be spending my money elsewhere.

While stopping by for printer ink. I was standing in the aisle making my selection when a Best Buy employee pushing rolling stairs insisting I get out of the way. I walk around to the other side of the aisle to continue making my selection only to find him coming back with the rolling stairs insisting I move again. This would never bother me had he approached me in a polite manner, but the demanding expectations of him was rude and arrogant. Although the convenance and selection of this Best Buy the only reason I would go back is to acquire the employees name..

Be carful they will steal your money. I placed an order for a gaming mouse to be delivered to my house. Guess what! I never received the package. I went back to the shop and spoke to the manager. He was very rude and disrespectful. He told me that it is not any of our business! I gave you my money to buy an item and in return i get nothing & you tell me to deal with a third party!!! They are nothing compared to amazon customer service!! I swear this terrible. Am just a tourist how could i know that you guys are just thieves!!

This is a crazy busy store and its normally filled with tourists, but the staff are great. Incredibly friendly, well versed in what theyre doing and welling to help however they can. I work in the John Hancock building and have purchased a number of items from here and the customer service has always been good. My only caution to tourists is the 10.25% city sales tax. Unless you need an item right away, buy it from your home store. If youre local and you work in the area, this is a good place to shop.

Love shopping at this location. The selection, product availability and customer service is one of the best of any Best Buy in the city. The only other Best Buy I look forward to going is the one on North Avenue. Tax is obviously more here compared to anywhere else in the city because of mag-mile shopping experience but the way I see it is just a tip for the better service you receive at the stores there.

I arrived in Chicago without the charging cable for my tablet, and its a type C instead of the usual micro USB configuration. The staff here went on a hunt throughout the store until they found two options that worked, and then they discussed feature versus price with me. Its rare to have this level of customer service and professionalism in a retail setting. I appreciated it very much.

Best Buy is Best Buy. Great place to go put your hands on a product, but then go home and shop for the same product online for much cheaper. Sorry BB, but its true. This particular Best Buy location is one of the better locations. Its clean, well laid out and staffed with tons of employees eager to assist shoppers. Its also located in the base of the Hancock Building, which is just cool.

Considering the location, this is actually a pretty large store with a big product selection and some great deals to be had. They had the new Microsoft Surface products before I saw them anywhere else. The staff are friendly but not at all overbearing or pushy like at some other Best Buy locations. Really impressed. Way to do things right Chicago!

We were here to buy the Taylor Swift Cd. As we walked upstairs, we were were immediately greeted by Justin. After the typical spots where the cd would be were empty, he scoured the backroom. When that came up short, he called downstairs and had one held for us. This was by far the best experience I have had at a Best Buy. Thanks again Justin!
