I take back my review, Greenfield location went out of their way to set me up with an appointment that fit my schedule to install a single subwoofer in my car at wauwatosa. I drove over 12 miles through busy traffic on a saturday and saw that I was running late so I called this location (wauwatosa) to give them a heads up, and was told by the audio tech that they would not be working on my car because I was 15 minutes late. I was furious and spoke to a manager, I will not mention names but in their defense they found an opening at the delafield location, an hour drive from where I live. When I arrived at the Delafield locaion their staff was puzzled as to why they sent me so far, they looked in their computer system and saw that the mayfair location had no reason to turn me down because it was a 30 minute job and they had availability from 1:15p to 6:30p which was way more than enough time to get it done. I was told that this wasnt the first time they have done this to a customer. They just flat out were being lazy and did not want to do it. I will never go to the mayfair location for anything ever again, and the Delafield location called mayfair on my behalf and spoke to their audio dpt manager for corrective action, but nothing was done. I was not compensated for wasted time and gas. I spent nearly $500 which is very decent for parts and labor but still is alot of money and not worth the hastle. I will be contacting their corporate office about the situation. The only good thing i can say is that they got me in and taken care of at delafield, and that the original location in Greenfield where I purchased the parts from went out of their way to get me the best bang for buck as far as materials go.

I feel bad to review poorly of this location because the people who actually work in this store do a nice job. However, this post is a buyer beware for individuals thinking about ever buying from BestBuy in general. This company has the WORST customer service I have ever come across. I was supposed to have a dishwasher installed on the 11th but BestBuy over promised this dishwasher to multiple parties. When the third party company went to pick it up it was no longer at the Waukesha, WI warehouse as previously confirmed with me the day before. BestBuy has admitted that they were at fault , however, it is now 4 days later and I have no resolution with BestBuy. I have reached out to BestBuy over 10 times. Each time I have been placed on hold, gone without answers, and have been told on many occasions I would receive a call back and never received one. At this point I feel like I would be better off canceling this order. It is nearly impossible to talk to the same person regarding your issue. They direct the problems towards a "case manager" who you think will solely help you on your case, but this is far from true. You will end up talking to 5 different "case managers" all of which have no power or ability to help and get very frustrated retelling the same story over and over again. For all the trouble they have caused me on a $1000 dollar dishwasher purchase, they offered me a $50 dollar gift card to a BestBuy store. The gift card means nothing to me as I have no interest in shopping here and I hope anyone who reads this will feel the same.

We had an iPad that was less than two weeks old when it stopped working. We tried to return it at the Delafield Best Buy but had left the power cord at home. They said to come back with the cord and they would exchange it for a new iPad and a new screen protector. Because we live in Milwaukee, we just went to the Mayfair Best Buy with the cord. THAT was a mistake. In Wauwatosa the customer service rep and the manager told us that they absolutely could not replace the $40 screen saver even though it was attached to a defective product. We were told we would have to go online and set up an account with ZAGG - InvisibleSHIELD and have them send us a new one through the mail. The manager did not care that the Delafield store told us they would replace the entire purchase. We left in a huff and drove all the way out to Delafield. Ben K and Sam M were the two people who helped us in Delafield and they were both great. We got a refund for the entire return value to replace both the iPad and the screen saver. They were apologetic about the defective product and very helpful all around. It was worth the extra gas to go west.

The worst service of any best buy I asked to see the manager and out comes Maggie, I pathetic woman you coundlnt answer a question to save her life.i found out she's the warehouse manager not the store manager She should stay in the back and watch her boxes and not be allowed totalk customers I'll never go there again and I went there a lot I bought a camera for 397 , two days later I went back and was told by There own Employee that I should of waited because a new model will be here at the end of the month,so I returned mine and then learned the new model isnt out until April ,so I decided to by back the one I had they wanted an extra 100. !!!! They looked up the receipt and saw I was right and they wouldn't give to me for the price I paid for it.She said some bullshit that the manufacter had a sale all this because I listened to there stupid employee

Worst Geek Squad service ever! I bought a phone and it died after one month and I went to the Geek Squad to see why it stopped working. They looked at it then stuck the charger in the phone and said, "Its not charging. Its dead" No duhh its dead! Thats why I came here in the first place! They didnt even look at the battery or look in the phone to see if anything else was wrong with it! They charged me 150$ for a replacement phone which I didnt pay because I walked out of there! My phone had no cosmetic damage or water damage. It was in like new condition because I took good care of it. If this place cant determine whats wrong with my phone, Ill find somewhere else that will which I did! Seriously, worst 5 minutes of my life! Yeah, they seriously only took five minutes.

My mom bought a laptop from here and the sales person was very pushy and tried to get her to buy the most expensive thing they had. She was going to buy a net book but got talked into buying an almost $500 laptop (he showed her even more expensive ones than that). I know she shouldnt have gone for it but they still shouldnt be so pushy. Everything in this store is overpriced and geek squad is pretty crappy.The laptop had to be brought to geek squad for a problem and the person who was fixing the thing was busy talking to someone else while she was supposed to be fixing my moms laptop. She barely fixed the thing. Im shocked it still runs. Your best bet: get the information on the gadget you want here but get it at Target or Walmart.
