I just happened to be driving by with my brother who noticed this store. Since he is looking for some new pieces of furniture and I need a new couch, we decided to stop in. My salesperson was a man named Rinnie who was very personable, polite and professional. He was knowlegeable and extremely helpful but not pushy (which I appreciated). The furniture is mixed in quality - some of the pieces seem to be of higher quality than others in the store, but overall, the prices were very reasonable. Although they dont have a huge selection, the type of styles represented were varied enough to suite a variety of tastes. Since Ive only visited once, I couldnt say how their on-going selection is, but I was very happy with my overall experience and I would absolutely recommend to speak to my salesperson Rinnie (Im not sure if thats spelled correctly). I will also mention that I telephoned afterwards to clarify some information and the phone had a fast busy sound that made me think Id dialed the wrong number, so I dialed again, several times - and each time I got the same sound. I tried one more time and got the store but I was surprised that they didnt have a voicemail to direct me to initially, just a busy signal. So, if you call and get that fast busy sound, I guess youll have to do what I did and keep calling back until you get someone.

These people are liars and scam artist, they give you a set date on when furniture will be delivered to warehouse in homewood, I was told at purchase my furniture will be available 7-10 days I waited to the 10th date still no call from them, so I called and was told that my furniture was expected 4 days prior to me calling, the guy I spoke with was just as confused as me. I then called the next 2 following days still they can not provide me with any info on my furniture, and today still no furniture, I feel like I have been robbed and violated, the women who answers the phone at the calumet city location are rude, and ignorant not to mention ghetto, if you see this place run for you life!!

If I could give this place no star, in place of a couple of Fs I would. This place is ridiculous, please if you reading this DO NOT waist your time. The people that work in there are liars, theyll tell you anything to make a sell, and to get off the phone with. Deena is CORRUPT, and Rosa is SHYSTIE. This place DO NOT need to be in business, and Im surprise that it still is. They tell you your furniture coming on day, and itll be weeks before you suppose to get it again. PLEASE DRIVE PASS THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I wish I wouldve took the time to do some research on this place, but now its to late.

i would give it no stars if i could they are horrible customer service is terrible and the couches we bought are fading and look very dingy! They do give you the run around like everyone says, the sold items we already purchased forgot to give us pieces we purchased. And Rose...the "manager" is the worst she swears like a sailor (no offense sailors) to customers as if it is regular to talk in such a way, she is in no way a professional person at all! Im calling the bbb as well, maybe homewoods customer service is better!

This place is terrible I will never go to this place again I order my furniture on lJanuary 27 2012 she told me I will have my furniture in 7-10day I didn&#39;t get my stuff until February 23 and when we got it. They brought the wrong slabs that the mattress sit on. Here it&#39;s March 10 I still don&#39;t have them if u don&#39;t want to go through please do not go to this store value city is right down the street.I wish I could give them no stars here it is april 5 and still no slab

Just recently purchased my sectional from and I got a really great price. Thankfully, my sectional was already in stock and I didnt have to wait the 5 to 10 business days it takes for them to receive your order. Do yourself a favor look around but dont put your order in until Mondays for Ashley Furniture. Otherwise youll feel frustrated waiting for something that will take infinity to come in.

Sales person gives you the run around once they have made the sale. About 40% of merchandise is a great steal. Just hope everything is fine the first time around because if you have to go back to them with a complaint of any sort you must see somone face to face to get any help, no phone calls please or be prepared for the worst!

Worst experience of my life.i wouldnt wish this customer service on my future baby mama lol. seriously you will get the run around as soon as you drop some money down. turns out Deena never ordered my furniture and told me it would be delivered on set date but of course no delivery. F-n amazing.

I found this business from a friend on Facebook and they definitely have the lowest prices around. They delivered our bedroom set and i have to say the delivery guys were terrific. We had to move our old set to the basement and they offered to help us do it. Big thanks to Tim and Primi.

This place is ridiculous....I been waiting almost a month to receive my furniture ....on top of that their customer service is TERRIBLE and I mean TERRIBLE .....nasty atitudes!!!!!! I would never go back or recommend anyone shopping there unless u cant wait a month for ur product !!!!

I had visited the store previously and called to discuss their credit options. I spoke with Tony who was very short and rather rude on the phone. Arent these people in sales. Hard to tell....they need to invest on getting sales people with customer service skills!!!
