Gentlemen/Ladies: My suggestion is this.....Find it somewhere else!!!! We purchased several items and were given delivery dates, stayed home from work to take those deliveries, were told only after we called on that date that the dates had been changed, were given new dates, stayed home and recieved MOST of the promised items that new date, complained, got a $100 gift certificate for our troubles, tried to use the $100 certificate today, went to Woodridge to pick up the item we paid in full for, were told that it was keyed in wrong at the store location and to wait, were left standing outside the back door with no contact for nearly 15 minutes, called after 5 minutes and were put on hold for almost 10 minutes, and finally were given the product after I threatened to have my Lawyer call and rectify the situation. Nick at Bloomingdale should be made aware of the fact that it took Heather at bloomingdale this amount of time to contact whoever it was that fimnally completed the transaction. If I ran my company the way way we have been treated by Harlem Furniture, I would surely be asking myself..."Where are my customers?". I intend on forwarding this e-mail to everyone willing to listen.

After reading some favorable reviews of Mansoor, I have to say mine was not good at all. We knew we were buying a sectional called Justin. Met a noobie salesman who gave us a price of $2500. Mansoor somehow jumps in and quotes my wife almost $3100. It was explained that the increase was due to a 5 year warranty we asked about and that the warranty would be $500 .00 extra. Naturally I walked right out bc not only did we feel like he was being dishonest, but we also got the same quote of roughly $2600 from a Harlem in Lombard(Bloomingdale was closer to us). So we took a quick trip to Bobs Furniture in Lombard and got the same piece we were looking for at $2400....includes everything, delivery and 1 year warranty on everything. Deliverys on Friday. I feel that the name Harlem isnt what it was years ago and would most likely not return to the Bloomingdale store. Both stores wrote the prices on business cards and pieces of paper. Nothing itemized... which is the way people sold years past. That doesnt work anymore guys. Buyers want prices itemized and know what they are getting for the price.

Buyers beware. Purchased additional pieces for our daughters bedroom. Asst Manager was only concerned about telling us about an employee that commuted arson to their main warehouse. The set came damaged and the deliverers were not deliverers. they were sub contractors that found help on the street and a rental truck.. They damaged our walls and dirtied our carpet. Called showroom who told us "WE" have to deal with the subcontractor delivery company. The second set came and again same street personnel came and again struck our walls. Sub contractor company who were very rude, sent someone with a rag to blot the carpet and a brush to spot paint the walls. OMG . Room Place did not want to take responsibility for delivery company. Asked for some credit and was told a Harry will call us, since Mike the store manager has no powers to credit. That was 3 weeks ago and no phone call.(June 2016). S T A Y A W A Y !!!!. This is not the same company customer service from years ago and does not belong in business anymore.

Came in without a single idea of how to furnish my new space, but Mr. Mansoor Malik helped me envision all of the possibilities! He is a wonderful man, with such a charismatic personality and he has a great passion in what he does. It truly shows! He listened attentively to what direction I wanted to go and he showed me various options and styles of what I could do. Mansoor is my guy, and hell be your guy too! Will go the lengths to get you the deal and find what your looking for. Best customer service experience I have had!

Buyer beware! We bought an expensive couch and love seat and the couch fell apart after one year. They said there was nothing they could do for me because it was out of warranty. Im sorry but a $1,100 couch and should not fall apart after one year. A big company like this should stand behind their customers. Its a shame that good customer service is lost in this country. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT - PERIOD END OF STORY. I WILL NEVER SHOP THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Went in to get a recliner. It was my first major purchase of furniture, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I was immediately assisted by Katelyn, who helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She was really helpful in making sure the process for purchase and delivery went smoothly and even helped make sure I got the best price for it. Great staff at this location and I will definitely use it for further furniture purchases in the future.

Worst customer service experience, we bought a few pieces of furniture, one we kept and the other one did not fit our room design, we decided to return it for a refund. Room place associates told us that we cannot get a full refund, only a store credit. I would never ever waste a penny or second of my time in this place. Stay away! All five star review ppl have no other reviews history! It means they are automatically generated.

I have been a loyal customer at this location for almost 5 years. I stop by the store often to check out advertise sales . I was very please with my service once again yesterday with July 4 sale . My salesman was Mansoor , he took the time to explain the different qualities of leather. I have and will continue to refer this location to my family and friends . Thanks Roomplace

We went looking for new furniture for our new apartment. We looked around and couldnt seem to find any help until Mr. Malik found us. He was really great at helping us find what we needed that kept in line with our style. He was very knowledgeable and helped us calculate prices and options. The sale associate Katelyn greeted me and help me find the things I was looking for. She explained the difference of the pillows and mattresses and had me try them out in the show room. I also had purchase a reclining chair and a couch with a love chair from Katelyn another time and she explained the different foam and protection treatments on the fabric.

Absolutely terrible company. They moved our delivery back a week and a half without telling us ( my wife found out by calling for an hour) and when I cancelled our order they didnt refund us our money. I eventually got it...a week later. My advice, they need to reevaluate and go bankrupt because no one deserves is type of service. Go anywhere but here!

I was so confused on the many options and choices of furniture out there. Norm was laidback and professional, He didnt mind that I took a lot of his time. He made my time there simple and easy. He worked out a great deal and I would come back to him next time I am in the market for furniture. Highly recommend him to friends and family
