Wish I could rate this a 0!!!!! Horrible customer service and VERY Rude owner. I went into the store on January 17th to purchase a couch and love seat. We were victims of the tornado in November. The guy I initially spoke to on this day told me that because of our situation he would go ahead and order the furniture for us even though I had not paid in full as long as I had it paid off before pick up. He also told me that my furniture would be in within 4-6 weeks. The middle of February I came in and paid some money toward it and asked to check the status on it and was greeted with nothing but rude comments from the staff about how my furniture was never ordered because I didnt pay in full and once I did pay in full it would be 10-12 weeks. I walked out of the store upset. I called once I calmed down a bit and spoke with a woman who assured me she was terribly sorry for the mix up and would be placing my order immediately since I was told it would be ordered initially. She asked me to call back a few days later to ensure the process had been completed if I did not hear back from here. I waited a week and a half before I called but when I did the guy on the other end of the phone was again VERY RUDE and told me yet again it had not been ordered. Then he changed his story and told me that it had been ordered but because it was a Saturday he could not check the status of it. Then in the background BIG MIKE started yelling saying I call too much inquiring about it and then I was hung up on. Then BIG MIKE called me back and told me I was being idiotic for calling so much inquiring about my furniture and that he did not want my business anymore and was going to send me a refund. the only nice thing I can say about this place is that I did get my full refund. I personally went into the store to pick it up!

I do not recommend this store to anyone!! I went in to buy a new bed for myself but the salesman was so good before I knew it I bought a second bed for my spare room. I chose this is it furniture because the organization where I was employed purchased alot of furniture from them and had a great experience. Upon leaving the store I realized I didnt need the second bed. Went back in to cancel and was told I could only get a store credit. They showed me too info at the bottom of my invoice. I spoke with the owner Mike the next day who also told me store credit was only option. Still have store credit from 3 yrs. ago and since I will never need any more furniture at my age Im stuck with it. Granted I shouldnt have been talked into bed #2 and should have read the small print so buyers beware!!!!! I will never recommend them due to their customer service.

we bought red suede sofa and bed(both cheap quality, headboard was broken when delivered, and it took 2.5 month to replace the headboard) When you initially visit their store they say that you can get furniture next week but once you place order forget about your money and furniture On calling them they abuse the customers, once you give them money they never greet you when visit their store Beware of buying furniture from them, we suffered and I do not want any one else to suffer if you can wait forever then u can go ahead and buy furniture from them.. chepooooooooooos..all of salesman are liars, specially mike also they overrate the price and then say 50% off for you...u can better get good branded furniture from furniture row or ashley at same price i wish i can give them -ve ratings

My moms birthday is april 10. 87 years old. She wanted a new bed because she has a hard time sleeping through out the night.Many days I get a call about how much her back hurts and about her sleepless nights. I went to the champaign store and had a very hard time trying to find a bed that is right for my 87 year old mom. The owner Mike had a great ideal. He wanted to pick my mom up and bring her to the store. (I thought he was joking) Wow! He did.Not only did he take time out to drive. He also brought lunch for her birthday.Im not a person to write a review or anything like this, but in this case, I had to let others to know how much Mike made my moms birthday and help her with finding the right bed for her to sleep in.. Her sleeping is much better. Thanks Mike.

Our furniture arrived in boxes and has stayed that way. It states on the directions that it takes at least 2 or more people to assemble the furniture. I paid $65 to have boxes in my living room. We have emailed the company, left messages and even had to hand carry a written message to the store to even get someone to call us back. Then we were promised that somone would be here after the weekend to put it together. Monday and Tuesday have now come and gone. We still have boxes sitting in our living room. I guess I should have bought cushions to go on top of the boxes so that we could have some place to sit! Great at selling the furniture, but not so good at providing service once they have your money.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Champaign this week and desperately needed a bed or else wed be sleeping on the floor at our new apartment. We were recommended This is it Furniture from our landlord but checked out 3 or 4 places closer to us before we stopped at This is it. I wish we would have went there first to save ourselves some time! This is it Furniture was so helpful and made us a great deal! Even when it came to financing our bed and couch, they helped us through the whole process and made sure we got the best deal that fit our situation. We were even able to get our bed and couch the same day! Im so grateful for the suggestion and for Big Mike and all their kindness at This is it Furniture.

Today I witnessed true kindness and compassion for a dear friend of mine in need. He needed a recliner to be able to enjoy life to the fullest since his surgery and I knew exactly where to go. I emailed Big Mike at This Is It and indeed he came through with my request. Big Mike sent me to Rantoul This Is it to meet Mike Judge and little Mike and they set us up with any recliner my friend wanted for just the cost of freight. Truly amazing people that work here I will from now on call these guys my friends and new furniture store to send all that needs good deals! Thank you so very much to all of you at This Is It Furniture you rock!

At "This is it," they make furniture shopping easy. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. NOT like the other stores when I had to repeatedly tell the sales person what I was looking for...and even then they went on trying to educate me about different types of leather. Time is valuable and the folks at "This is it" get it. You get quality furniture at a competitive price and not to mention quick and easy delivery. Originally we expected 2-3 weeks on my order... It took 7 days and it was in my home (On a holiday weekend!) Although its nice to look at other store to see options, Id make "This is it" your final stop.
