I give the store credit for having a good selection of titles that youd never see in person unless found online. Here its tangible so you can see the condition of said games in person. Unfortunately outside of the good selection of games, their prices are beyond typical re-seller prices and their merchandising is like someones unorganized storage unit. $15 for an NES controller, $20 for a Sega Genesis controller, $5 for old sports games and $45 for Super Mario 64. Half Price Books carries multiple copies of Super Mario 64 for $30. No old sports games are worth more than $2 and theres no reason a Genesis controller costs $20. I would have liked to look at their N64 section, had it not been blocked by boxes filled with some random stuff that either needed to be priced and put away or thrown away, hard to tell. Open boxes full of other oddly placed stuff were all over the floor and near the register. Everything was everywhere, just like their prices. My girlfriend told me there was a PS4 section. I said I didnt see it. She said of course not, it was on a shelf up top. Why is there merchandise up top where people dont notice it? Its worth coming in here for to check their inventory and maybe find a fairly priced title if you look hard enough. But unless you feel absolutely fine paying $80 for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES, its slim pickings here.

This store has a very extensive collection and many hard to find games. The only problem is their prices. Their prices are either equal to or above market value, especially on their premium titles. I dont understand why, they have a large inventory, but still choose to sell their games at a premium. If I can get better deals on eBay what incentive is there for me to visit this game store. Claiming that you clean and test all products isnt enough, at this point thats almost an expected practice in this market. If you actually know what games are worth and have an understanding of how the market for retro video games works avoid this store, its a waste of time.

A lot of selection, but the store was just very messy and disorganized boxes were everywhere and some stuff needed to be organized or put in the back or something cuz all the boxes gave the store a bad look, the prices are a little too high I understand its a store so it will be naturally higher, but still some games were $10 over then what they should be, there was a big selection of games and many of the same games and surprisingly a lot them were in very good condition I would visit again if they fixed some prices and cleaned up the random junk in the store overall had a good time shopping there.

The shop has almost everything and anything you could ask for in retro gaming. If youre looking to have a nostalgia trip or maybe try out some old games from back in the day, this place is definitely a go to. Their very knowledgable of the products they sell and very fair on the prices they set. The quality of the things they sell are in very good condition for how old some of the stuff is. I know Im definitely gonna come back. So if youre on the fence about visiting the shop, I think you should go check it out and support your local gaming community.

One of the best selections of classic video games Ive ever seen — they have games for every system ranging from the NES to Sega Mega Drive. The only slight complaint may be the organization of the place. They are trying to pack a TON of stock into a tight space so things arent always as well organized as you may see at some other places. Thats a rather small complaint though because this is one of the go-to places for old school/retro video games, accessories, systems and more.

Took a drive down to Play it Retro, Of course looking for NES games. Meet the owner who was a really cool guy. However a small selection of games to choose from due to limitations in inventory. Picked up a classic Mario bro, along with Robocop. Games pins were cleaned and labels were in good condition. If your in the Area and need some common games stop by to fill your collection list.

This shop was a pleasant surprise, with a good selection and a fun staff. It was a bit disconcerting though that they didnt seem to "want" to sell some of the games that were in bins after theyd attended a show a few days before. I had cash in-hand, ready to spend, but they just didnt seem to want it :-(

Extensive SNES game selection, and very competitive prices. Great customer service & great guys to do business with. Best prices in the city, (I have compared every single retro storefront, in the city and suburbs), hands down. Loved this place! Cant wait to go back and get my special request.

Small, friendly shop. The employees here are very helpful and knowledgable. I hope theyll update their computers soon, it took the guy a long time to look up some prices for me. However, while waiting he offered some great suggestions for some hardware I was selling.
