Gaming Goat is hands down the best gaming shop Ive spent a solid amount of hours in. The team here fosters a truly welcoming environment for all players - discouraging offensive language among all gamers. I recently moved to another state and just did a MtG pre-release somewhere else where offensive language was abundant. I deeply miss the staff at The Gaming Goat and the amazing environment they create for new and seasoned players alike. I would highly recommend this store to everyone.

Charlie and Ross are some of the friendliest game store owners around. They have a very wide selection of trading card, board, and tabletop games and have events every day of the week. They have a very friendly customer base and even jump in on games when they find the time. If you are in the Oak Park area, I highly recommend coming to the Gaming Goat.

The Goat is great. They have lots of cards, and a whole lotta board games. They have many of the board games available to test out before you buy, too. The guys that run the place are very nice, there are lots of weekly events, and a very nice and lively community there. Check it out.

If you are in need of help finding a game, this is the place to go. The staff was helpful in finding a game for me and my wife to play together, and also found a really fun game to play with the kids. Has a great selection of games that cant be found at big box stores.

This is a great store. Not only are the staff nice but the learning opportunities for TCGs (mine being magic). Ive learned more about magic in the past 6ish months at this store than I have in the past 4 years of playing. I HIGHLY recommend this store for all.

Relatively small gaming store with a surprisingly large stock of MTG singles. Drinks are available at a very reasonable price. Events can be a bit on the crowded side due to the size of the store.
