I bought a 2002 pontiac trans am from this dealer about 7 months ago. The pictures on the website looked great and in person the car looked even better. I bought it with 59k miles for a pretty good price. Before heading over for a test drive, I called and asked if there was anything wrong with the car or anything that I should be aware of and the person said "absolutely not". They were nice enough to deliver the car to my house, although much later than what we initially agreed on. When I got the car I gave it an oil change, and changed the air filter just in case it hadnt been done in a while. After 3 months of non aggressive weekend driving, the left Headlight when off and I had to replace it. The rear wheels started making a "ch...ch....ch" noise every time the wheel spun. I had to replace the rear driveshaft to eliminate that noise. The passenger side roofrail weatherstrip needed replacing because heavy rain would seep through the top of the window. Finnally, three days ago, the service engine soon light came up. I ran a diagnostic test and came up with a code p0420. Now I will need to replace the catalytic converter(s)... I am very dissapointed in the cars quality and am thinking of selling it if other hidden problems keep coming up.

My wife and I had spent the day looking for vehicles having been nothing but disappointed. After vising 3 OEM Dealerships we had our fair share of high pressure sales tactics and over-sized/outdated dealerships. Finally, after a dealership in La Grange lied to us about a vehicle still being available we decided to give one more dealer a chance - this time an independent dealer. Im always a little hesitant about independent dealers but after calling United Auto and speaking with Taylor I was put more at ease. Upon arriving I immediately was blown away with how clean and tidy the dealership was. Also, with how extremely professional and friendly everyone was - especially Taylor. Long story short, we drove away with our new Dodge Dart about 2 hours later. Furthermore, we left in such a hurry we forgot to grab the spare key. Not only did we get a courtesy call from Taylor letting us know but they were kind enough to next-day mail it to us. Honestly, next time Im in the hunt for a vehicle I will be sure to go through this dealers inventory first! Its really nice to know we have a dealer in Illinois we can trust!

I went in on a Saturday an hour before close and they were pretty busy. All the sales reps were helping people, so one of the other gentleman that worked there walked up to us and greeted us immediately, very nice, knowledgeable. He answered every question I had and was very accommodating until one of the sales reps became available. Pretty much had me sold on the vehicle before I had even spoke with a sales rep. Thats when I met RJ, awesome guy, very down to earth definitely not your average salesman. Very easy to work with, never have had that happen when purchasing a vehicle. Its always tense, they can be a bit over aggressive, not the case here. Everything went as smooth as possible from negotiating to the hand shake to driving away in my awesome vehicle. This is a quality company with quality people from top to bottom. I cant say enough about the people and the experience, definitely top notch. If you are looking for a vehicle, this is the dealership to go to. Thanks again United Auto Exchage, and I look forward to doing business with RJ again in the future.

Horrible service thus far. I called in this morning to get more details on a suv. I was told by Omar that I would receive the pictures in 30 minutes. One hour goes by and I get no call. I call back and get the receptionist who tells me that she will relay the call about my pictures to a salesperson and someone will send me the pictures in 30 minutes. Again I wait another hour without pictures. I call back and speak to the receptionist who tells me all the salespeople are busy because theyre low staffed today. She said that I will get the pictures before the end of the day. I just called back about 15 minutes ago to setup a pre purchase inspection with Omar and Im told that the owners wife came in, got the suv Ive been waiting all day to see and left. (Unbelievable). Omar stated that he wasnt sure when she would be back. Out the gate this is hands down the worse service Ive received in a long time and clearly theyre not trying to sell this suv. I tried giving this dealership the benefit of the doubt, but how low can you go. Lets see how this will end.

Ive had my eye on a Scion TC for years now. United Auto Exchange has made my dream of owning one a reality. Everyone I encountered was respectful, helpful, and patient. A special thank you to Omar. The 2011 Scion TC that I bought has manual transmission. Ive always wanted a car with MT, but I never learned to drive stick. Omar went out of his way to teach me the basics. He gave me hours of his time, which ranged from before I bought the car, to after. He made sure that I was comfortable before I left the lot. Thats not all... Omar drove me to my bank, which was miles away in his personal car to make sure that I got the best financing for my purchase. He bought me water because it was a hot day. He even made sure that my car was washed and detailed before I drove away with it. What a great guy. Thank you Omar. A amazing experience. I got a great deal and was on my way with my new car in a matter of hours. I even got real plates and a sticker right away, not those yellow paper temps. What an excellent and outstanding experience! I dealt directly with Jeff, the owner of United Auto Exchange! Jeff listens to what you say and is a true master of customer service! I was on the hunt for a very specific Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Jeff helped me find the perfect Jeep at an AWESOME price! He made the buying experience stress free and as easy as possible! From the point in which I started dealing with Jeff to the time I had my vehicle was just one week! Also, I was out of town for most of that time! Jeff did ALL the leg work and did it right the first time. There was a leak in one tire and Jeff took it himself to get it plugged. Jeff also topped me off with a full tank of gas at no charge! Bought a car here last year and was back in town looking for one for my daughter. Didnt see anything on the website but wanted to stop in and see my salesman. I live 4 hours away but had such a good experience I wanted to stop and see a salesman, thats rare! Homero did find a car like what we were looking for, however is was in a color my daughter wasnt liking (silver, kids). The selection of cars is amazing from a beautiful old Allanti to a hand made Ford GT to a Prowler to a BMW I8. WOW! But they have cars for everyone, those are just the ones that stood out. Stop in and see Homero and he will do his best to find you the car you are looking for and I bet the price is his too.
