They get you with the half off coupon the first time then nickel and dime you every time since. The first time I brought my loving dog for a haircut everything worked out great, dropped him off and picked him up on time. The next time they were an hour and half late and still didnt finish, so I had to bring my dog back again so they could finish the job, even then it took me 5-10 minutes to convince them to finish the job without having to pay again. Then tonight I took my dog in and after refusing a $14 additional service, they told me there would be a $14 fee to brush out my dog, which I found ridiculous since tonight is the least matted I have ever brought my dog in and they have never charged me for this before. I also find it suspicious that the "fee" is the same cost as the service refused. So I left and took my business elsewhere. The rest of the store is pleasant if you want to overpay for tennis balls. I also tried the dog training program they had (again a free coupon), of course your dog will do what you want if you give him a treat for everything.

Despite the fact that the manager/ employee took care of the issue to right the wrong, I feel people should be cautious and have a full time regular groomer who knows your dog well after this experience. My dog (5 years old, VERY sweet and easy to deal with according to literally every groomer shes ever been to, and her vet) ended up with a split nail all the way down to her toe, which ended with a day ruined and her sitting a the ER vet, to have her toe stabbed with a local numbing agent, then cauterized down to stop the bleeding, then booted for 2 days. Not the way we intended to spend our weekend. Again, PetSmart paid for the treatment, and helped make sure my dog was ok, they were definitely willing and kind about it, and I get that things do happen, thats life. But I also feel it could have been easily avoided with a little more care and time taken. Her toe is improving everyday, but its something Ill have to watch now and make sure doesnt split again due to how far down it broke, according to the vet. Hopefully this doesnt affect our runs.

Oldy Man

Visibly upset, I came in at 8:55 P.M. after my little guy (a dog) and I went on a long walk earlier that day because it was one of the first nice days of the new year. Unbeknownst to me, during the walk, the dog had chaffed himself on his underside to a flaming red and was becoming irritable. Not really knowing what it was (he and I went swimming in a chlorinated pool earlier that day to compound the problem too), I decided to go to Petsmart instead of calling the vet (ya know, thinking it was pretty late, after hours, gigantic bill, eh, its just a rash, etc., etc.). . The manager, (Jenn?), thankfully, immediately recognized the inflammation and directed me to some medicated shampoo and a hypo-cream that RELIEVED THE PROBLEM IN TWO DAYS. And. Everybody. Is. Happy. Now! . Thank you to Petsmart and their smart staff; see what I did there? . P.S. The people in the aquatic department are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about that area too!!

PetSmart itself was fine. The BanField here however has been the worst. The person at the front desk was rude and lazy. Her one job was to be at the front desk and she wasnt there when I arrived, so then I was late for my appointment for my puppies 4 month booster shots. She said they cant see me but I can wait on standby. I asked when theyd have time if they were booked, and she had no answer. I find it funny Im late due to her fault. They should all be advocating for the animals they see not themselves. Maybe she shouldnt be in the back stuffing her face and do her one and only job that a monkey could do. Ill be taking this to corporate.

Called ahead to see if I could stop by and have my guinea pigs nails trimmed at the pet hospital. Was told I could bring her in any time this afternoon. When I got there, the very peevish girl at check in told me quite rudely that somebody must have told me wrong and they dont see guinea pigs. Quite apart from the waste of my time and gas, this is summertime in the desert and being carried around in a little box in 100f heat even with the AC blasting in the car has placed unnecessary stress on a small animal. Needless to say we are one very upset guinea pig and one unhappy human.

They have mostly everything I need, my daughter has a couple of fish and a small fish tank, so I wouldnt say I go there frequently. The service I experienced there hasnt been something that stands out in my mind as good or bad; I pretty much found what I needed on my own and got out of there. It seems clean and well maintained which is good since they sell animals on site.

We live PetSmart because we can bring our dig with us, not that most of stores dont offer the same but its still nice, and we can get our specialty dog food there. We needed a grain free diet that didnt destroy our bank account, and with the help of the employees at PetSmart we found a great cost effective alternative.

Went in looking for a brush for our dog, had no idea what to type to get, a very helpful and kind lady from grooming came out to help us find the best and most afforable brush. She knew just the one for our dog and it works amazingly well!

My boys and i really like this petsmart the are sweet people and helpful. I do enjoy when they have events for the animals we go to everyone of them. We also do appreciate the adoption center the are the sweets people.

These guys know what theyre doing. They have a good selection of products for all animals. As far as live animals go, they have some, but not many. The staff here are friendly and welcoming.

Today we purchased birthday supplies for our dog that will be turning 1 on Sunday. He has completed 2 obience courses at PetSmart, we buy our food and treats there. Service is great.

I go to banfield the vets are nice and friendly.. Pet smart the people are Lap friendly and. Love my dog. Prices are kinda high but thats to be expected.
