The two owners, Mike & John, are super-friendly and knowledgeable about their products and the nutritional requirements for dogs. Ive been shopping here for about two years now and I wont go anywhere else for food and treats. Youll pay a little bit more shopping here but the quality more than justifies that, especially when it comes to the options they have for food. Do yourself a favor and google "dog food analysis." Click the top link and check out the highly rated products reviewed by the experts. Healthy Tails carries all of the foods that are the very best for your dog and none of the brands made from animal byproduct (processed leftovers from dead carcasses) and contain corn/carbs as a primary ingredient. If youre hesitant about switching from the major, junk brands to quality ingredients, I recommend stopping by and talking to one of the owners (they are pretty much always there). They genuinely care about your concerns and are no pressure business owners, so you will never feel obligated to buy anything. In fact, they are always stocked with sample packets that theyll give you to try out prior to making a purchase. Great establishment and exceptional service! Very glad I have this option for my dog and we are happy to support a local business over corporate chain stores.

I have 5 rescued dogs who have all been to healthy tails. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgable. My vet was thrilled with the suplements they suggested for one of my dogs who has bad knees. They have the best dog beds. Very well made with covers that are easy to remove and wash. Their products are very good quality and they have items you wont find in other las vegas stores. Their selection of specialty leashes is unparalleled (a must for walkin 5 dogs!!) and their dog shampoos will have you picking up your pooch just to cuddly and sniff them again! :) I have found that though they are slightly more expensive than petsmart and the like, the quality of their products is signifigantly higher. You also dont have to deal with big crouds or walk your dogs across a huge hot parking lot to get into the store. They are real dog lovers and even remember the names of my furbabies when I come in. They also are involved and give back to the community. Stop by, you will love these folks!!

After doing much research on the proper foods we should be giving our dogs, I found this place. We were nervous about going in because we get judged a lot (tattoos, purple hair, etc.) and thus, people tend to ignore us but the staff there was super friendly and went out of their way to give us some samples. Weve had in depth conversations about the ingredients and overall dietary requirements for our dogs and they really know what theyre talking about! I would also like to add that even though their selection of dry dog food is slightly more expensive, were willing to pay the extra money for it simply because we are blown away by how friendly and knowledgeable they are. They clearly care about animals and if you do too, I would highly recommend going there!

The customer service is excellent. The staff is knowledgable. And their products are the best. Even the prices are relatively comparable to large chain pet stores. My story: I have a Weim and he has had, lets just say a few health issues, when I explained my situation they recommended California Naturals Dog Food and gave me samples, which both of my dogs loved. So I switched their food. My 9 year old Weim is like a happy, healthy puppy again. The difference is miraculous. I am forever grateful and strongly recommend shopping here. Hands down, the best customer service I receive in town. Ive yet to walk out of the store without being thoroughly impressed. The store is always clean and organized, staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and they give my dog treats! I cant say enough about how awesome they are. Hard to find local mom-and-pop shops nowadays, but these guys are a fine example of one. If youre looking for dog food, look no further...Healthy Tails is the place to go. Blows Petco and Petsmart out of the water. My dog loves the place more than I do!

I found this store listed on Ruffwears Retailers. They had a fully stocked selection of all Ruffwears products in every color. So many other toys, leashes, and fun stuff all from the best brands. It was like staring at Amazons search results but everything was right there! Thoroughly impressed! On top of that, the customer service was exceptional and they helped put on the dog harness for me. We will be back for treats and goodies!

I was immediately greeted by Mike, who was so friendly and knowledgable. Unbelievable customer service, incredible story behind the origin of this shop (check out their website). The owner/staff are so nice and helpful. The prices are very competitive and its nice to know I am supporting a local business. They have a huge selection of healthy food, treats and things for your pet to chew on. They have samples of foods and treats so you can make sure your pet likes it before you buy. They also carry just about everything else you could need.

The staff offered individualized help with the selection of products for my dogs. I got excellent advice to help choose a probiotic with digestive enzymes that my dogs love and my dogs got a treat before they left the store. I cant say enough about how helpful and kind the staff were.
