Cobb County Kia, Okay, here we go. Please listen carefully! First of all, I live 60-65 miles one way from this dealership, now. My wife called the new sales department and talked with a girl named April Carter. She spoke with her about a 2016 Kia Optima, stated the features that we were looking for, color, and model. April stated that they had a 2016 Kia Optima SXL on the internet for $27, 250 that included all the features we were asking for; navigation, sunroof, heated/cooled seats, and V6 with a turbo. My wife asked for the price out the door including tax, tag, title, and everything. April preceded to put her manager on the phone by the name of Raphael. Raphael told my wife that she could take this vehicle home for anywhere between $24,000 and $26,000 out the door including tax, tag, and title. My wife asked him several different times the price and if it included everything out the door. Raphael assured her that the price wouldnt go over $26,000 and would most likely be less. Raphael told her to come in the next day because she was speaking with him around 7pm, he stated that the car was at the Kennesaw lot and even sent her an email with all the details of the car. So, here I go, with my special needs daughter that is in a wheelchair carrying my mother and father to get this car. This whole deal was for my parents by the way which they both are over 70 years old. We walk in to the dealership, I ask for Raphael, the first thing I was told is that no one by that name worked there. The salesman that came out stated that he didnt know anyone by that name. So, I go in to speak with the lady up front answering the phone, she stated that Raphael worked in the detail department and didnt sale cars or even speak English. They send a sales woman out by the name of Keely, she proceeded to tell us that no one by that name sales cars and she didnt have a car by that description. I called my wife and she spoke with Keely over the phone (my wife was at work). Keely seemed to act like she cared until she got off the phone, then she proceeds to go get a car that wasnt turbo and gives my mom a piece of paper that had a price of $33,000 plus tax, tag, and title. My wife called back and spoke with April again and she stated that she would get Raphael to call her back. Well after about 10 minutes and no phone call, my wife calls back again and April assures her that she has the car and that Raphael was there and she would call me and advise me where to come and meet him at 2pm. Well at 2 pm we didnt meet with Raphael, we met with another manager by the name of Ariana. Ariana stated that the car Keely brought around was the one Raphael was talking about, I plainly told her that the car Raphael quoted was a turbo and that their car wasnt. I got very upset, got my family, and left. As we were walking out, Keely made the statement "Thanks for wasting my time" My wife called once again and spoke with April about this matter, at that time April proceeded to tell her that the car Raphael quoted was no longer there, it mysteriously got sold during the one hour they were open after their phone call the night before this horrible ordeal. Needless to say, my wife got very upset, April told her that she would get back with Ariana and they would find a car from another dealer with all the features we were looking for even the same color. Ensured my wife that she would call back in no more than 10 minutes. Hahahaa! That has been over 14 hours now and still no phone call! Really, I cant believe it. Ok the moral to this story is that the people at this dealership from the person that answers the phone, the sales people, and even the managers fill you full of crap just to get you in there then change everything around from the car they quote to the price. They are not honest, trustworthy, or even helpful in anyway. I would advise you to find another dealership that cares about their customers and that do not LIE!!!!! THANKS COBB COUNTY KIA FOR NOTHING, WASTING MY TIME, WASTING MY GAS, AND LEAVING WITHOUT THE CAR I WAS PROMISED!

The negative reviews were right. The short version is: There are nine other Kia dealerships in the Atlanta area. I would recommend you try any and all of them before Cobb County Kia. Here is the long version: They are the farthest Kia dealership from my house (45 minutes), but Ive heard a local radio personality talk about them and decided it might be worth the drive. I contacted them via their website and requested their "lowest internet price" on a specific vehicle found there. I very quickly received a call from Robyn Preston. She answered all my questions, up to the internet pricing. At that point, she told me she would have to talk to one of the sales people. She called back a short while later and gave me an "out the door price" that supposedly included the car+tag+tax+tile. She then asked to set up an appointment with the sales person who provided the quote, Cardin Pierre. He and I spoke by phone and we discussed the car, scheduling the appointment, and the special financing promotion that Kia was offering. He even placed me on hold so he could confirm some of the information with a manager. Ultimately, we made arrangements for me to contact him the next day when my wife, 4 year old, and I were on the way, so that he could have the car ready. That night I checked reviews of Cobb County Kia online. There were quite a few negative ones. In a significant number of cases, the dealerships responses used the words "miscommunication" or "misunderstanding." I took the reviews with a grain of salt, but they did make me decide before leaving to call Cardin to verify that the car was still there, and that the price I had been quoted was going to be honored. The first sign something was up was when he said he would talk to his manager again to confirm it. Fifteen minutes later he called back to tell me that price he quoted was only valid if I didnt want the special financing. I told him that was not what we discussed on the phone and no mention of that was made the day before. He apologized and said he would talk to his manager and make sure I was happy. I let him know I was only going to be happy if their company stood by the arrangement we had made. He assured me they would make it right. Twenty minutes passed. When we spoke again, he said the manager wanted to speak to me. He handed off the phone and after discussing the situation, the manager asked me if I was ready to make a deal. I told him we had already made a deal. He then told me he would talk to HIS manager to see what they could do. Really? Twenty-five minutes later he said they couldnt give me the price quoted with the special financing. With that I ended the conversation.

I dont really do reviews but had to on this one. I will say our salesman Hank was GREAT and the GM Andre was helpful and nice but if the GM gets involved its normally gone to far. I traded a perfectly good kia Sorento for this one. They love you to do that. Soon as you leave though its a different story if there is a problem. The service department is HORRIBLE. I have had my Sorento in the shop 2 times in a month for the same problem with 4 different explanations of whats going on. The first was yes there is a problem. They supposedly fixed it. Nope still doing it. Take it back and then get " oh thats normal for the car to shake when it changes gears"!...WHAT? I said no its not so they kept it another 5 days. I had heard nothing from anyone other than its ready from there manager Randy( who spoke to my wife very rudely and basically wanted to argue with her instead of offer help) he was ZERO help. I spoke with Joe the service supervisor who assured me 2 days in a row he would find out what was going on and let me know THAT DAY. Nope never heard from him. THE SUPERVISOR! I had to take off work and go up there to find out what was going on. They then said yes there is a problem with it shifting and they where bringing a Kia tech in to look at it. Well a day or so later no kia tech, they found the problem and its all fixed. It was a cylinder misfire. Hmmm... ok thats fine if its fixed. They had no paper work for me showing what had been done and 3 weeks later STILL no paper work. Guess what? THE CAR IS STILL DOING IT. So in 4 weeks I got 4 awnsers on what was or wasnt going on and no paper work what so ever to back it up. They have said the have printer issues!? PRINTER ISSUES FOR 2 WEEKS NOW?.... They treated my 19 yr old daughter EXTREMELY rudely about a month and a half ago when she went up there. I guess she interrupted their lunch time. Save yourself the hassle of this 1 star service department and go to Woodstock or Cartersville kia. You will be happy you did. There is a reason they have 1.5 stars in their service department folks. I am now going Metro Kia for them to fix the problem who said that it is NOT normal at all for it to shake while shifting. I had the kia for a month and it didnt do it. Then it starts but "oh thats normal", to it needs a shift update, to its a cylinder misfire, to yep theres a problem... Still not fixed!!. IT HAS 25K MILES!!
