EDIT: 9/6/2016 Ed called me in regards to my negative review. In my original inquiry in regards to my concern I overpaid for the car (again my own choice) he stated, We tend to increase our prices depending on the time of year. March is around tax season and a lot of single moms get their tax refunds. Okay... REGARDLESS all would have been livable with me other than the fact that THE CAR I BOUGHT THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AFTER LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP. COST OF REPAIR: $3,643, the cheapest of the two quotes I got. Almost as much as I paid for the car. I had put less than 10K miles on the car. This just goes to show that they dont properly inspect their cars, or they cover up and band aid any MAJOR underlying problems. I had regular service done, transmission fluid changed shortly after I bought it. The two mechanics I took it to stated there was no way this could have been my fault. The second stated that this has been an underlying problem and did not just magically appear all of the sudden. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A CAR FROM HERE. IF YOU DO, PLEASE GET IT CHECKED OUT BY A TRUSTED MECHANIC BEFORE YOUR PURCHASE. Its taken me quite some time to finally sit down and review this company. I purchased a 2002 Honda Civic LX 4 dr sedan back in March of 2016. The car had a little over 136,000 miles on it. Being in the desperate situation I was in, I didnt walk out the door like I should of. Let me be blunt: overpaying by at least $1,500 is never something someone wants to do. After all was said and done, I drove out of the parking lot having paid almost $4,000 for a car thats worth maybe $2,000. Dont get me wrong, Michael was nice enough. He came down on the price as much as he could. Even made me wait for an hour so he could get permission from his boss to get the asking cheaper, just for me. Even gave me a little nudge and said I dont do this for everyone. Awesome. Do I blame the car dealership for me overpaying? Not one bit. I had the information, and I knew about what the car was worth. Once again, I was in a tight spot. The car it self has been good. I havent had a single problem with it, but its a Honda. What else would you expect? All in all the experience was decent, I was in and out in a total of three hours. Next time I buy a car Ill go to a larger dealership, or most likely buy private. I dont recommend dealerships in the slightest. They will take all they can get, and laugh as they watch you drive off the lot paying a small fortune for crap. Maybe I just had a bad experience, I dont know. Call me pessimistic, but Michael did say part of why he went down so low on the price was me writing a review as part of the deal. What a hoot. My advice? Hop onto some good old fashioned classifieds, find something you like, and if youre really interested take it to a mechanic you trust and they will do an over all inspection for a hundred bucks. That way you know youre not buying a lemon. If you want to buy a car here thats great, more power to you. But will I be coming back? I assure you I will not.

To start off, the gentlemen that work there are very nice and sold me a really great car...until it came off the lot and there were problems with it (which of course is going to happen because its a used car - so I am very understanding of that) . I bought a used 2008 Ford Escape for them and you could tell there was damage from a previous wreck (which still shows..) The bumper was coming off, there was 3 big scratches on the back of the bumper and a dent on the side where the car was hit. When I first walked to the car, the owner, told me he would fix the bumper by getting a paint shop company to reattach the bumper as well as painting the marks, giving me a full tank of gas and washing and vacuuming the inside of my car. Well, the bumper got painted, but my bumper was still loose. So I had to go back to the company to get my bumper fixed (thinking they were gonna re-attach it) but they didnt - they only fixed the brackets in the bumper, because thats what they were told to do BY Global so it shows poor communication from Global. I was told by the sales man and the man who handled my paperwork would call me when my tag came into their office, but once my tag expired I called them and they told me that I should have gone and gotten my own tag, once again, poor communication. So my bumper is still very lose. They never filled up my car, when my car was delivered to me, it was delivered to me with less than a quarter tank of gas. It looked like they never cleaned it so once I got it I had to clean the inside myself, as well as wash it. Im very disappointed about the bumper because its not just a safety hazard, but its the company not sticking to their word. I was very shocked how honest they were about the car being in a previous wreck, which I was very happy about. I LOVE my car, I am just very displeased with the company and how they handled my situation. Overall, the men that work there are very nice but it all boils down to bad communication and the company not sticking to their word.

I bought a car from Global Pre-Owned Auto and I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience. The salesperson Dan was knowledgeable about the car I was interested in and was upfront about the cosmetic defects of the used car. My wife and I appreciated his humor, honesty and candor. On our first visit, we decided to deliberate overnight before making the decision to buy the car and Dan applied no pressure on us to purchase the car, unlike other auto dealers (We visited 3-4 dealers before purchasing the car from Global Pre-Owned Auto). He was very respectful of our decision and understands our need to think clearly before making a big investment. Plus points for making us feel so relaxed and comfortable despite us taking a long time to make a decision. Prior to the purchase, we requested for a pre-purchase inspection from a nearby workshop and Dan gladly obliged to let us drive the car out for 1-2 hours. The inspection reveals no major issues, and I am convinced that Global Pre-Owned Auto sells good cars at great value. My overall experience with Dan was truly customer-oriented and very pleasant. If you who are looking to purchase a used car, I would strongly recommend Global Pre-Owned Auto for the best car buying experience.

I have visited Global Pre-Owned a total of 3 times now. The customer service was great, they are very nice and pleasant. Each time I looked at a different cars, two different times I took vehicles to a mechanic to check out. The first car I took to the mechanic I was told had been wrecked, the wheels were messed up, the car had been repainted, and the inside had suffered a lot of damage from the previous owners. The second time I took a car in was today, I knew that it had been repainted and was okay with that, but I was then told it had flood damage. None of the damage showed up on the CarFax or AutoCeck reports so I would always suggest getting a car checked out before buying it. I have no reason to believe the mechanic is lying because they do not charge for pre-purchase examinations and would not benefit in any form. Each time I spoke with Global Pre-Owned about the issues the responses I received were "really? wow" and then excuses would follow. I dont know if they really had no idea about the issues, but either way I am not impresses. They are either lying to me or they are not competent with cars. I am very disappointed to have waited so much time here. I will not be going back.
