Im in charge of a big 75 gallon tank at my church. It has a variety of community fish including neon tetras, gouramis, and mollies. Since the tank is at church I cant get out there everyday to check on it (there is an automatic feeder). I drove almost an hour from the south side of Atlanta to get fish from this store-- male swordtails. They are the only store in the area that I was able to find these fish, and I did some extensive calling around. I went to the store on a Saturday and purchased 3 male swordtails of three different colors. By that afternoon, one of the fish was dead. I chalked it up to aggression from the others and flushed the fish. The next morning, another was dead. I was irritated, but I wasnt going to drive an hour for 2 fish. By Monday morning I found the last one stuck to the filter. I called the store, obviously irritated because the fish I drove across Atlanta for were dead. I was told that I needed to bring all the dead fish, my receipt, and a water sample. Obviously I didnt keep the dead fish over the weekend to bring back and I wasnt about to bring in a water sample with one fish because up till this point I hadnt lost a fish in this tank. The problem was with the fish I got from the store, and they were unwilling to work with me in this situation. Im not sure how they are with other animals, but never ever get fish from here. No one knows what theyre talking about, and if a fish dies be prepared for the third degree.

They dont have the biggest selection of items but the workers there are some of the nicest, funniest people Ive met. Theyll help you out with anything you need. The always have a few cats up for adoption and most weekends there will be kittens at the store for adoption too. In the past theyve had vet technicians come during some weekends and offer shots for cats and dogs. They also have a loyalty card program. It doesnt cost anything and you get a free bag of food after your 10th bag. They only look at the last years worth of purchases though. You can set it up to keep track of cat and dog food separately or together. I recommend tracking them together unless you have a lot of pets/ big pets that eat a lot or if you buy smaller bags of food. The tracked bags must be the same brand and your free bag will be the smallest bag that you have tracked. If you track cat and dog food together that probably means youll get a free bag of cat food instead of dog food (unless the bags you bought are the same size). Just something to keep in mind! They also mail you coupons every few months which is nice.

This place usually has a bunch of great products in stock. Our pet sitters stopped in here to purchase a dog collar because one of our clients (a golden retriever) somehow lost his. We were able to find one that closely matched the lost one and we didnt have to spend a fortune to replace it. The associate who helped us was very friendly. In fact, they even offered to go through their overstock to find exactly what we needed. We would highly recommend.

Ive used your in-store low cost vaccination services 3 times for my 2 cats. Each time, I was very satisfied, both with the service and with the cost. Today, I was disappointed to learn that your costs have DOUBLED since last year. Because I can see no reasonable justification for such an increase, I will no longer be using the service, nor will I be shopping in your stores. Goodbye.

Great prices on fish supplies, beatable only occasionally by Amazon. Not a ton of different species of fish, but those that they have are healthy and in clean tanks. The plants are very cheap which is great for anyone that wants a planted tank, and the staff have always been very helpful and willing to work with my requests.
