My review has a unique view which many dont always have the luxury of having. I started my relationship with Atlanta Cycling in 2005 when they were still in Ansley Mall. From here I purchased my first real carbon bike a Scott CR1 limited. The year I purchased this bike I promised myself to do 5 Century rides without having any knowledge of what it would take. The shop worked with me not only on getting the correct bike, but one which would let me grow as a rider. As I completed this task and started putting more and more miles on the bike, my relationship grew into being a part-time associate of Atlanta Cycling. I have such a passion for cycling so to talk to people about bikes is like a dream. I would go on group rides and organized events with people asking where did you get that bike.....Atlanta Cycling come see us. It wasnt until I was asked to be on a Race Across AMerica (RAAM) team did I know how much I would rely on this shop. Not only did they get me a complete replace frame for the Scott I cracked, they also guided me through the process of purchasing a new time trial bike I would require for the event. As I was riding up to 450 miles a week, each bike was being punished, and not once did my bike fail due to a mechanical issue. I am back to just being a day to day customer, but I have two of the sexiest bikes (in my opinion) which are on the singing the praises of Atlanta Cycling. Thanks guys.

Atlanta Cycling has become my local "go to" bike shop. They offer top notch service from pre-sales, sales, bike fittings and service. I always feel very welcome as I enter the store with a warm greeting of welcome back and how may I help you. They are knowledgeable on their products and have a wide selection. But what stands out most to me is the CUSTOMER SERVICE in the shop and in the service department. The bike fitting service is superb with follow up to ensure everything seems to be going well with the bike fit. Any time I have needed bike service, the technicians have been available to listen to my concern and have known immediately how to address those concerns. Another bonus is the weekly rides they offer from the shop. Its great to have a central location to meet and ride with other cyclists (and to make a quick run into the store if I need something before riding). I highly recommend Atlanta Cycling to any local area cyclists!

I have been a customer at Atlanta Cycling/Ansley for over 10 years and have purchased many bikes there. I love bikes and riding and so do these guys and that is what matters. They have a tremendous assortment of bikes from great manufacturers. The sales guys know their product and are able to talk to each customer in a manner appropriate to the customers knowledge base. The service department is great with rapid turn arounds. They understand if your bike is broken then you are not riding it and that is not acceptable. I typically do my own repair work and I know that that AC is always there to rescue me when Im out of my comfort zone. The staff is professional and courteous. Atlanta has a lot of good bike shops but Atlanta Cycling stands out above the rest. When I travel I find myself exploring bike shops and I would have to say Atlanta Cycling is a "destination shop." Dont forget to ask for Mike, Brandon, Chuck, Chad...

This shop is OK, but not great. Overall, I have the feeling this is a shop geared towards those buying $3000+ carbon bikes and go racing in spandex on the weekends. They seem to offer great service for those types of customers. If you are just an everyday rider, bought a "regular" old bike on Craigslist and just need some repairs done, there are better and cheaper shops around. I have been there 3 times for parts and / or repairs for my old road bike, and all 3 times the guy ringing up my order had problems finding my order, using their own computer system, etc. Twice I had ordered something on their website, and was just picking it up. Both times they had problems finding my order in their system, and had to ask for help from a colleague. Next time, I will just order from Chainreaction Cycles or Wiggle honestly and save myself the trouble. Their mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly. So no complaints there.

I purchased a Trek road bike from their Ansley location and had a great experience and would highly recommend them. Some of the things that stuck out to me that I felt I should share: -They werent pushy on sales. Very professional and friendly staff -Invaluable resource when narrowing down and selecting between different products -Dedicated employee worked with me through entire process (3 hours), never felt rushed -Purchase of the bike included a pre-fitting and a more detailed final fitting at no additional charge. It was a fairly involved and iterative process that was beyond my expectations -Website was easy to navigate and accurately reflected what was in stock. Didn’t feel like I was rolling the dice on whether or not they had they bikes I wanted to try before I took the trip -Store is stocked with a wide variety of bikes and gear and well kept

I bought my first Trek road bike from Atlanta Cycling Ansley location a few months ago. The environment in the shop was great! The staff was not only knowledgable but they were also very friendly. They work very well together. There is a positivity that flows throughout the entire shop! I was so happy with the service that I ended up buying another bike the following week for my 9 year old son. Unfortunately, a few months later I got rear ended while sitting at a red light. My bikes were mounted on my bike rack and they took a hit. I took the bikes back to the shop and they went out of there way not to only fix the bikes, but make me feel a whole lot better about that crazy ordeal! Lee was exceptional! He worked on our bikes, and even let my 9 yr old son participate! I highly recommend Atlanta Cycling!

Real Pros that want to sell you the right bike... not the most expensive one. I stopped over to Atlanta Cycling while I was on a business trip and was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the people at the shop. I was looking into a top of the line Scott Foil, but Mike from the shop asked me several questions and recommended a less aggressive (and less expensive bike) given my flexibility and riding habits. I appreciated that he wanted to sell me the right bike regardless of the price. No bike shops in Miami have this level of service. At the end of the day, I did not buy a bike but I am so impressed with Atlanta Cycling that I am planning on making a trip to Atlanta just to get a new bike and get fitted by them. Gerry.

Brought in two 27" wheels from an old Trek to have new tires mounted. Place was very busy. One fellow took wheels to the repair shop in back. A different young man brought my wheels out about 15 minutes later and showed me the freewheel was missing on one. Turns out freewheel was a very rare & expensive Helicomatic hub. How it managed to disappear during short time in the shop is a complete mystery. Anyhow, these people looked all over shop for it & then swear they cant find it. Meanwhile, Im stuck with a useless bike. The manager of this place hasnt done anything to help me resolve this issue. I would not recommend doing any business with this shop. I will steer clear of this place for any future repairs.
