Had an amazing experience at this Petco. Bought a guinea pig and about 10 days later noticed hair loss around his eye. Brought him back (still within 15 day warranty) First, manager Ricky offered to replace him, but since we already bonded with the little guy, he arranged to send him to a local vet for treatment. A week later, we called to check in. Manager Mike gave us an update and suggested that we could come in for a visit (since piggie had ringworm, he needed to stay in quarantine for 2 weeks) Mike brought the cage out so we could see him and visit. Mike gave us the all clear a week later and we picked him up. In my opinion, Petco could have taken the easy, cost effective way out -- instead, they did the right thing and got our pet back to us, healthy and happy!!!

A very disturbing visit to this store today. The lack of care and knowledge in and about the reptile area was appalling. Im sure there is a footless, if not dead leopard gecko in the building at the moment due to lack of care after an incomplete shed. Also, disturbing is that they are being housed on substrate that is known to kill them. I left there almost in tears at what I saw. And yes, I let it be known I will never, ever walk in a Petco again, and I will advise anyone I come in contact with do the same. I know these small creatures are just an item on a shelf to make money to them, but to people who have had them as pets, they are no less loved than if they were a cat, dog or any even a family member. Shame on you Petco.

scheduled a shaving of my Golden Retriever for today at 2. dropped him off a little early and was told they would give me a call when ready. came back about and 45 minutes later. I checked and asked how he was doing. The groomer just looked at me and said "good so far". Something did not seem right so I asked if they had even started on him. She then started tellking me it was a 3-4 hour process and they dont schedule one dog at a time. She finally said they had not started. I got my dog and left. I was never told how long it would take, either when making the appointment nor when dropping him off. We have spent a lot of money at this store but will not spend anymore.

Purchased an aquarium light from this location , light did not work. Retuned light next day, spoke to cashier because I forgot my receipt . The cashier said its ok they can because I purchased light yesterday, but a manager named Ricky would have to do the exchange. She called rick who came and with an attitude asked for my receipt , I told him I forgot it he stated " NO RECEIPT NO EXCHANGE" and walked away. The cashier told me sorry , and I told her its ok , I will return it closer to my house and will never shop pet I again.

Not the best place compared to PetSmart the co-workers dont seem to really care and it doesnt seem to be the cleanest or inside I dont think the prices are that good either but it has some pretty good fish in Fish Tank selection so if thats your jam then you might want to check it out

Great store! Fast, friendly and very courteous service! Great prices overall, and excellent sale prices! I enjoy talking with and viewing the sweetest dogs went visiting this store through the Cherokee Humane Society on Saturdays. One of my sons favorite places to visit!

The outside rep for dog food was more help than the 3 employees on duty, not to mention 2 of them were on break at the same time. We looked for help all over before finding the 3rd employee actually working with the crickets in front.

Petco will have people from the humane society adopt a dog to you even if the dog was sick and when you dont follow there treatment which was wrong they will send someone to try to break in your house.

They do wonderful adoptions through the Cherokee County humane society. This is our first dog and they were very helpful picking out what we need, without pushing what we dont need.
