All I have to say is wow. They have terrible customer service and they are unorganized. One lady bagged fish for me and when they went to ring them up another girl said that the fish couldnt be put together. She said they would kill eachother but if I really wanted them she would sell me them. She then suggested I get some fish that I didnt even want to help start up my tank. Then I would be stuck with those fish and I know I wouldnt want to just get them and kill them just to get the tank started. Then she acted all suprised that I didnt buy any of the fish. Why have someone take the time to bag these fish then tell me they couldnt be together? I ended up going to Petsmart where they actually ask questions and know what they are doing.

The Frontline was marked up so much. We purchased two different sizes both priced for more than $60. We found it much cheaper at Meijers and went back for the price match. They then refunded up our $44 difference and I happened to look at my bank statement the next day to see they actually chared the $133 twice to my card! When I called the person that answered it was very rude and told me I had to return to the store with my receipt and bank statement. Over priced place with rude people. Its a bummer they are marking their product up that much when you can get it other places for so much cheaper!

I want that big a fan of Jacks pets but I figured I would go to check them out since they became pet value. I wanted to buy some fish but the tanks were disgusting! The glass was dirty in every tank. The tanks I could see in the gravel was dirty. Im not saying dirty like fish excrement but dirty like they havent been cleaned since the new store opened. The was a bag of fish that had been floating for I dont know how long with a dead fish in it and the water was brown. I would never buy fish from your store. Pet value seriously needs to hire people that can take care of your aquatic section.

I have been uncertain about buying from pet stores due to the horrible things I have heard and see from Petsmart and Petco. I went to Jacks Pets and was greeted by at least 4 people, I got help right away and had all my questions answered. I am definitely buying a Leopard Gecko from them and all my supplies. The guy who helped me handled the animals very well and was very knowledgable. I was very impressed and just by seeing how they treated other customers really makes me feel they are a great pet store! The animals all looked super healthy, unlike what I have seen at other pet stores.

At least they seen your mistake! If you are going to get a pet, look into what to getting before you go killing things first! They have aggression levels on the tanks to tell you what fish can go with what and how many you should get. If you get some guppies you cant get a african cichlid and put it in the same tank!!!!!! The guppies wouldnt have a chance! Just inform yourself and dont blame someone else for your mistake!!

Back when they were jacks pets I bought a bunny and they told me it was a mini lop and a female . Now HE is bigger then my 3 month old kitten and I found out today he was a boy when he started humping my arm and something came out .

Jacks had better prices and more animals. Holly is a great store manager. This place is always clean and the staff is very helpful. Still expensice though.

Very helpfull staff with my fish tank
