Update 10/28/16 Its interesting that the reviews on this place are so good AND so bad. I have to admit that I have definitely had both extremes. I feel like I need to update my last review. SERVICE: Joni, the service manger who just made things happen (in a good way) is gone. Theyve had a a few different service managers since then and they were all terrible. Ive had bikes returned to me covered in oil, with flat tires, and without keys (yes. And you never notice until you are ready to ride 2 hours away). It. Was. Bad. I stopped taking my bikes in for a long time. They now have a service manager who is great. Manny. He seems to really be working hard to clean up the mess he was given. We brought in a nearly new 4 wheeler for 60 hour service and the techs stripped the bolt for the oil pan. We didnt notice until it was back (an hour away) and it leaked oil all over our barn. Talk about PTSD regarding the service department. They must not have cleaned house on the techs. I dont know if Jeremy is still there, but he was a great tech for me. I called Manny and he offered to drive an hour away to pick up the wheeler and bring it back to fix it. We ended up bringing it back ourselves but that gesture was a good start. They fixed it and it is fine now. I have high hopes that Manny will clean it up. PARTS: I have nothing but good things to say about parts. Vic has her crap together. She tells me that they sometimes make mistakes, but they never have with me and I order a LOT. Shay has always been friendly and Eric stayed late so I could pick up some helmets. In fact, Eric found me parts for my Chinese scooter at a place unrelated to Gables. That was above and beyond. Thanks Eric. SALES: I tried to buy a 4 wheeler here about a month ago. They told me I could have it for $3500 but by the time they added all of their fees the price increased by about $2000. I walked on the deal and found an amazing wheeler on Craigslist. We had agreed on a price then they came back with a 40% increase. I didnt appreciate that. If it takes $6k to walk out with the machine, tell me thats what it takes. Dont tell me one number then give me an invoice with a 40% mark up. I probably wouldve bought it if they had been more up front about the price. I will give credit to the guy who helped me transfer the warranty for the wheeler I bought the sellers name to my own. He spent like 2 hours going back and forth with the seller in my behalf to get it straightened out. He even said I could go home while he took care of it (probably because they were afraid my kids were going to break something.) I will be happy to give more stars and change my review when I know that the service department has pulled itself together (go Manny!). Or when I have a better experience with sales. Im in the market for a couple of new bikes. We will see how it goes. One bit of advice: If you want to get your atv/pwc/bike serviced... dont wait until the beginning of spring or the beginning of fall. If you do, you are just ASKING for 2-4 weeks of wait time. Thats not unusual for any performance dealer. I have a couple of Kawasakis that I tried to get serviced from Kawasaki at the same time as my Hondas and the waiting period was exactly the same. Its a disappointment if you have big plans in the near future, I know, but thats just the way it is every year with this kind of stuff at this time of year. Its all in the planning. Dont get caught in the season rush!

I decided to give this place a chance since I had just moved to the area. I traded in my 2015 xmr 800 for a 2017 Polaris high lifter 1000. The sale went easy. When I arrived to take delivery of the unit I was notified the passenger door was damaged and they would have a new unit for me in a week. No big deal so I agreed to take delivery. 2 weeks went by and the credit union took another payment from my account because the trade had not been paid off in time. This wasnt a huge deal but when I called the dealer to see what happened they said they just sent the check late and the credit union should refund the overage. While I had them on he phone I asked about my missing door. They had dropped the ball on the door completely forgot about it. They ordered the door and a week later called to tell me it was in. During the time the door was on order I met another 2 people that had highlifter 1000 and noticed they had rear view mirrors. My unit did not have a rear view mirror. The dealer called me about a week and a half later to notify me the door was in. I went to pick up the door and it was an incomplete door. I asked about the rear view mirror and was told they do not come with it. I insisted they check to be sure and I was right they shorted me the mirror from the beginning also. They ordered the rest of the door parts and a mirror. At this point I had made my first payment in the unit and it still wasnt complete. I spoke with the sales manager about my experience and he gave me a free first service because of my troubles. I was called another week later (at this point it had been 6 weeks since I took delivery) that the remaining parts were there for my door. I took the unit in on a Tuesday and dropped it off for the door and mirror installation. The dealer called me thurs and told me Polaris had shipped the wrong hinge for the door and they couldnt have the correct o e until sat. I canceled my weekend plans to go out of town with the unit, I was not picking it up again until it had 2 doors on it. Saturday rolled around and I picked up the unit. It was serviced as promised. I took the unit for a ride the following Sunday and the door that was just installed kept flying open. I thought to myself no big deal prob just an adjustment. When I checked the adjusting bolts the welded nut on the inside of the cage was stripped out from cross threading the bolt. Im going to repair the door my self and cut my losses. I will never deal with this dealer again and do not recommend any one else does either.

Had my bike serviced. After waiting almost a month and a half for a three day max job I finally got the call it was ready. They never answer the phone. Just keeps you on hold music in hopes youll hang up. The mechanic that is working on your bike is always "out to lunch" because it is so busy that he didnt get a chance until you got there no matter what time. They try to charge you for parts twice if you dont pay attention. Once I got my bike done I asked if the mechanic could walk me through what he had done so I knew what I was paying for. He came out from the back to say no I made it to Honda specs and it runs and if I wanted to know more I should buy a service manual. When taking it to another dealer, since Ill never go back there, for a scheduled spark plug change the mechanic said the old ones the other Honda shop installed werent even gaped properly. The were between .22-.26 when it calls for .31-.35 The salesman lied the day it was "done" and said hed wait an extra ten minutes for me to get to the dealership after closing to pick up my bike. I pulled in at the time I told him and the crew was scrambling to get out and said too bad all locked up already. During my poor service I called the store manager to try to get things sped up about a month into it and he said he would talk to the service manager about adjusting the price for me. Nothing happened for my wait. After the poor service I called to complain about the mechanic and sales person not telling me what was done to my bike that I was paying for. The lady argued with me saying I didnt pay almost $1,500 like I said and it was only about $400 for the service. I said Im looking at two receipts that say that price. So if it was $400 I need about $1,200 credited back to my card. She didnt say anything more about that and proceeded to tell me shed send me a 10% off coupon toward another service. I laughed and said Id never go back there again. When servicing my bike they took my info part of which was my email. They recently sent out a coupon in the email for 15% off anything. After all my hassle I got a 10% off coupon that is worth less than something they send out in the mail anyway. What a joke. Wish I could give zero stars. I tried to post negative feedback a bit ago but they had so many negative reviews already that they removed their business listing from Google maps. When they brought it back online they had employees write five star reviews for it to make it look good again.
