When I was shopping for a yamaha boat, I stopped by Harpers. They were accommodating at first, however, they did not have the model that I was looking for. When I was told how much it would cost to "get the one I wanted," it was several thousands of dollars higher than driving farther to a dealer that had the boat in stock. To me, it wasnt personal, just common sense. Since purchasing my Yamaha, I have tried to get it serviced at Harpers without success. When I called about service, I wasnt asked about when I could bring it in. Instead I was asked about where I originally purchased the boat and told that they wouldnt service it because it wasnt purchased through them. If you are willing to pay more and subject yourself to being treated as a burden rather than a customer, then youve found the right place.

I was traveling with my motorcycle in North Carolina and had a mechanical issue. I contacted Harper Cycle and experienced first class customer service. They went to bat with the manufacturer to get my parts over nighted and to come up with a work around that saved me over $800 in additional travel expenses that otherwise would have been incurred. To be traveling and have a less than a 24 hour turn around for a major issue is service above and beyond. I highly recommend this firm based upon my experience

We have been working with the staff at Harpers for the past three weeks looking at motorcycles, buying accessories, and setting up service for our bikes. The Star Accessory sale is fantastic!!
