I recently talked with Paul via the telephone regarding a BMW F 800 R motorcycle. During the phone conversation, Paul mentioned discounts on this motorcycle. He was gushing over the phone about how wonderful the discounts would be. So I was excited about a reasonably priced BMW motorcycle. I visited Paul on 18 February in person at TouringSport. The wonderful discounts that he mentioned on the phone had evaporated. HE STATED DISCOUNTS ( PLURAL ) WHILE ON THE PHONE THE PREVIOUS DAY. But magically, the multiple discounts just vanished. Yeah, it sounds like a bait and switch situation to me too. I also wondered why a 2016 with an msrp of 9995 magically changed to 10995. I asked Paul about it but he kinda mumbled something incoherent. I had saved my hard earned money to purchase a motorcycle . Paul had me so flabbergasted that I had a headache and just wanted to go home. The good news is that I will never ever visit this Alice in Wonderland that is called TouringSport. Oh by the way, Im going to purchase the GSXR 750 that I wanted anyway.

Terrible customer service. My husband and I each purchased a motorcycle from this dealership and have been getting both of them serviced here for years. Despite our loyalty, when my husband broke down yesterday and it took 1.5 hours for the tow truck to show up (TS was unwilling to help with the tow), the general manager refused to stay open just 10 minutes past closing to accept the bike. He told me he had a delivery to make and none of the other staff with keys were willing to stay because "its been a weird day". I told him he just lost our business not only for service but also for future purchases, but he did not seem to care. Furious would not even begin to describe the way I feel about how we were treated. We will be taking our business elsewhere and encouraging everyone we know to do the same. UPDATE 9/20/15: Despite leaving feedback here, on facebook, and on their website, we still have not heard from Touring Sport BMW to make this right.

I bought my first vehicle with Touring Sport almost 3 years ago and it was a pleasure to deal with the sales team. My issues are with some of the other staff. Mr. Fred Zust handled my financing paperwork and I expected to be treated with more respect. He was never blatantly rude; I just felt like I was a number. I have also stopped servicing my bike with Touring Sport for the same reason. There are two sides to an argument and I have thought how I could have been a better customer. Maybe I was overly needy and tepid purchasing my first vehicle. What ever the issues Touring Sport had with me, I decided to service my bike elsewhere. I currently take it to BMW motorcycles of Charlotte and I am leaving this review now, because other customers avoid Touring Sport. Its not unusual to hear of others going to North Carolina dealers for Ducati and BMW service work.

I have been impressed with Thomas and Touring Sport ever since I decided to move forward with the purchase of a new BMW S1000RR. I went online on a Sunday evening a couple months ago to feel out the local dealers. (I live in Atlanta and had already eliminated BMW Ducati Husqvarna of Atlanta because even though Ive been there twice, they have never contacted me back.) First thing Monday morning, I had an email (which was my preferred method of contact) from Thomas. His approach was informative and non-pushy. I also spoke to him over the phone and he continued to show professionalism and knowledge about the BMW and the Suzuki (which I WAS considering as well). I would recommend Thomas to anybody looking for a new motorcycle and I look forward to making the 2 1/2 hour trip soon to meet him in person and pick up my new S1000RR!

Purchased a new R1200R in May...it is almost September and I cant ride... Have not been able to get a tag because there is no title... Once this dealership gets your money...deal finished. This is NOT the Touring Sport from years ago...there are many good places to buy new BMWs...this is not one of them... Still we wait... Maybe CHRISTmas .... Update... Finally got Title work and was able to get the tag on 9/4/15.… no apology, no reason why, no phone calls.... This is a very troubled dealership, and they have no clue how to treat the customers who spend hard earned dollars on their very expensive inventory... My 2016 GS will come from another dealership... I hate to post bad reviews, but this one was needed, warning to all shop elsewhere.

Over the past several years I have had different bikes serviced at Touring Sport, always with mixed results. Once a few years ago they denied that my ABS system had failed (it was late on a Saturday) and wiped the error code to get me out the door. 10 minutes later I found myself headed home 400 miles away with no ABS. This week they serviced my F800 and it felt to me like they stretched the work out and charged the max that they could for the job. They did the work, but I left feeling overcharged. I guess that is all you can expect when you are on the road. My dealer back home would have instilled more confidence, done it quicker and at a more reasonable price.

The best experience at a dealership we have ever had! This is probably why after purchasing my 2015 700GS about a year ago at Touring Sport, we came back last week to get my fiancé a bike. The staff is so very friendly, accommodating, and it was just a fun experience! Thanks to Dave in sales, Lydia in F&I, and Stephen in parts( who remembered me when I bought my bike--great memory!) Oh and who can forget Addie ( the shop mascot), that kept me entertained the whole time. Thank you all at Touring Sport, please dont change a thing!

I have never been more disappointed in a business relation than with Touring Sports. They tried to lowball me on a trade-in value at the last minute : the title was even already signed ! We didnt do the deal, and it is probably better like this. Stay away from the sales people (J... and J....), they are unprofessional and un-respectfull. You cant trust their word. Service and Parts departments are great. Thats really sad to have such a brand represented like this. BMW products deserve a better dealer...

Fantastic BMW Dealership. They have sold me two K1600s & were willing to negotiate on the price each time. Service is quick, reliable & very professional. The mechanics always take the time to answer my questions & assist with technical concerns. The parts department is very knowledgeable & often offers best price matched to internet vendors. The only complaint I have is they always have donuts so, I have a sugar rush every time we visit. Highly Recommend!! Return Customer. Best, Doc

I service my S1000rr here. My previous BMW "Stealership" always charged the maximum amount for the spring service, but Touring Sport didnt perform unnecessary work, or charge me for what I didnt need. They also let me wait while the bike is being serviced. (Thanks for the doughnuts.) During a Track Day, I asked a service technician there about Touring Sport, and their response was very positive.

Ive been to Touring Sport twice now. Once in attempt to buy a bike, and once to buy riding gear. Ive left both times frustrated and disappointed with the salesmen, and took my business elsewhere. I am a local Triumph owner, and I would have loved to make this my go-to dealership. Ive heard the management is great. Maybe I was unlucky in getting the wrong people, and third times the charm?
