My fourth time in there and it seemed as if everyone was too busy. There was only one or two people in the store. I dont want to play the race card but it is too obvious. It took over 15 minutes to get noticed and when I stayed in plain view the worker preceded to ignore and help someone else I waited another 5 minutes and finally flagged someone else. I asked for what I wanted a 9 foot cable and some clips to tie it with. I asked to the person to please help me clip the cable. Just like they did for me last time I was there, he proceeded to say they dont have the tool to do it with. Well he never looked for it. So I said that someone here did it for me the last time I was in the store. He told me bluntly "I dont have the tool, go and use a hammer." Im not a person that will argue with stupidity so I walked off. Then I hear the cashier smiling giving pleasantries to those in front of me. Then I come up and said "good morning" not a hello no eye contact no emotion what so ever. All I get is a "sign hear." I will never in my life go there. I believe that some people get up in bad moods but all of them and directed towards me? Not good. My moneys as green as the next person, the blood that runs through my veins is red like the next but because of the color of my skin? I would like to think that everyone in that store got up on the wrong side of the trailer. See how many ethnic people are giving reviews? None.

Best customer service around! If one employee didnt know an answer theyd refer to the right one. If they didnt have it theyd refer you to the next best place you could find it. Ive never been ignored nor seen anyone get ignored at this location regardless of race and Im in there all the time for at least the last 3 years. (I would stay away from the North East Tampa location that Im pretty sure is owned by someone else. That Tampa store had rude svc and an unpleasant environment.)

These folks know how to make some keys that work! I had THREE duplicate household keys made and they all worked perfectly. The young man who was running the key-cutter, was very diligent . He double checked the cuts on each one against my master key---then, he used the buffer wheel to take the sharp edges off. It was totally cheap $$$ too! Take your chances with the GIANT Mega- Hardware stores, or come to the place that has the most happy customer stars---ACE !!

The store was real clean and organized. I like how the shelfs were in order by product. I came across some difficult questions regarding some products I was looking for and this young man name Jason helped me with everything I needed. He was very nice and with a polite accent all the time. He made eye contact with me and answered all my questions. I will definitely go back to this store and seek his helping again!

You want to talk about a bunch of idiots. Seems like nobody in the store has any type of hardware knowledge at all. They didnt know anything about 10 of the products that I asked about that they had in stock. & I spoke at one point with five different people standing around trying to figure out how to do their jobs. Not even worth the waste of time to walk in here and talk to any of these ignorant people

Employees are great and have always been helpful when I went into the store. I had to return an item, and yes I tried to install it, but the manager advised the employee helping us he would not accept back. So, in the end Ace lost a loyal customer, I will advise everyone that I know of what happened, and Home Depot gained a customer since they have no issues with returns. Big screw up Ace!!!!

The employees are always friendly and helpful. The store is very convenient to my house, saves a trip to Lowes or Home Depot, especially if you need just a couple of small, common hardware items. The prices are a bit more than the huge box stores, but that makes up for the small size of the store, the convenience, and the helpful staff.

The Brick Paver guy that posted a month ago is the ...... this place has more knowledgeable people than most Big Orange or Blue box stores. I never fail to be asked 2 or 3 times if I need help EVERY time I visit. This is a well stocked, fair priced, EXTREMELY knowledgeable store. Keep up the great work.

Have been there many times. Great service, friendly. Dont know what the comment about race card means, but I have been served by people of many races with knowledge and skill. Robert, the gentleman who was in 80s is a great example of Ace employing people based on ability and nothing else.
