hace poco fui a comprar carne y me lleve tremenda desilicion cuando un carnicero estava limpieando las ventanas del counter, el probema es que el jabon con agua le estaban callendo al pollo y la la demas carne y cuando le reclame el lo que me dijo es ESO NO ES NADA, eso quiere decir que detras de uno que es consumidor hacer muchas mas barbaridades.

The hot food is good. Many times Ive went to the dessert section and many of the desserts were so old they had green mold on them (rice pudding, etc..) Also one of my last visit the cashier rang me up, and cashed me out. Before I grabbed my things she stated she forgot to charge me for my pastries, so she charged me again. When I got home and checked my receipt, she had already charged me the $5 for pastries, so I was double charged. That is inexcusable.

I was trying to get my breakfast in the morning and i noticed that one lady before me ask for a omelette and the shef on the back was angry and complaining because he was the only one working in the kitchen. I went to the only sweet and professional lady at the registers and let her know. She was so helpful and friendly with me. I hope the owner acknowledged that this girl have to train the others one because they are rude.

Cuidado con esta gente que te estafan. Verifiquen el recibo. Cuidado con el huracán! You have to be very careful at the time of payment. Check your receipt before leaving that place.

I have been going there for a couple years now, the customer service has always been lacking, but the coffee was good. It really feels like they dont want customers that are not Spanish speaking. There are too many other Spanish & Cuban food places in Tampa to put up with that. Unless you speak Spanish, i dont recommend the place. Go somewhere else if you need Coffee, Roast Pork or Meat.

bad service for english speaking customers or black puerto ricans.they hate blacks.the employs are family members of the owner thats why ? the cash register woman belief they can do whatever.mistreat customer and scream at them skip the cubans firts to the line.if you go to meat area you see flyies all over the meat.this place dirty.

I would love to support local business but they need to clean up. There were bags of rotten potatoes out and when I told the cashier she looked at me like I insulted her. Im insulted they think Im going to buy vegetables or food items from a place that allows such conditions!?

Horrible service towards English speaking customers. Lazy kitchen staff. They close the kitchen at lunch time... come on really??? You cant even get a steak sandwich at 1:00pm. Thats ridiculous for a hot food store. Will never return or spend another penny at this store.

Its has everything you need. The hot is best in the early morning. The meat department is very slow especially if no one is in line. The act like they dont see or hear you. If you tip them regularly you will be remembered!

We stopped by the Huracan for a quick bite on the way to the Zoo. They have great Cuban food to go, at wonderful prices (and LARGE portions!) Great Cafe con Leche too! Good customer service, very friendly people here.
