From my experience and research some of their items are priced pretty close to retail. Handbags, shoes are expensive compared to other thrift stores in Tampa. Resellers may be driving the cost up. They hit this place pretty hard. I should know. I am one of them. :) lol! Seriously though, the prices are too high considering all of these items are donations. missing components, not in their original packaging, etc. No guarantee on anything sold so test before you purchase. I do realize the funds are going to a worthy cause but I feel they should put more effort in researching their prices before they place them out on the floor. They are all for the most part used items, sometimes they are incomplete. they are missing their other components and still being priced as if they were complete/still in the package. Manager/employees for the most part are pretty customer service oriented but as with any business you will run into the occasional disgruntled employee from time to time who may see you as intruding on their time when approached for assistance. Could be a matter of perception I guess. I am a sensitive soul. :) lol! No haggling here. Every once in a blue moon you may get them to lower the price if you are adamant about it but for the most part forget it especially if it has recently been placed out on the floor. I strongly recommend that if you really want to save try garage sales/estate sales first before you hit your local Goodwill. You stand a better chance in being able to haggle with your neighbor on price than you will at the Goodwill.

prices out of hand for strong possibly of broken electronics. 1 reciever from onkyo buttons snatched in display shattered they sill ask $51 and since it did not have the plug no way to test 11/23/16, no better just getting worse, now scratched up blurays are selling for $4.98, they were asking 198 for a drum by fist act, only had snare, no kick no sticks 1 symbol and one stand.....idiot said its prices because its up there with Pearl......smoking crack. Bose Ipod dock, no wire to test if it even powers on and yet morons asking $75, worse of all, super Nintendo for $200, no power cord and like 8 games, no cables....no way to see if it powers on or works........$200, these people should be fired and arrested. One lady back there is pocketing brand name glasses and stealing them, she is one of the ladies that does the pricing it was another employee that told me about it.

I rarely waste my time posting a review of anything unless it is unbelievably good or bad. My experience at this Goodwill was unbelievably good thanks to the exceptional customer service I received from an employee named Selena. Two days before my companys Halloween party, I show up here with serious doubts that I will find anything for my planned costume. I asked the first employee I ran into if she knew if the store had one item. The next thing I know, Selena is running all over the store on my behalf picking up items that may work. Not only did she find EVERYTHING I needed for the perfect costume I was going for; she was honestly happy to help. I received a level of customer service I have not received in the 9 years Ive lived in Florida. Thanks again Selena, you more than exceeded the expectations of this procrastinating shopper.

horrible people to work with today, we brought garage sale left overs, and it was all in our trailer, the guy working(ha ha) kept pointing to everything and said "we dont take that, and that, and that" it was all in tubs and plastic bags, how does he know what is in them??? very horrible day for us, we went to complain back there to someone, and it turns out the federal jail back behind the store has nothing to do with that. then we went into the store, and the manager? was nice and went and talked to the guy back at donations. Backing up truck and trailer was a bear because people wouldnt stop long enough to let us back up. They were yelling at us. Very STRESSFUL just to donate garage sale leftovers. NEVER AGAIN will I go there

Prices are crazy, kids clothes use to be bargains, but its only Walmart used stuff thats cheap, cups and saucers are very expensive unless they are made in China, the new stuff often higher than Home Goods or Walmart, chipped stuff on shelves, some missing obvious pieces, decent handbags way over priced, unless something slips thru bargains are hard to find. People way underpaid, considering what district managers make. Prisoners sitting out back with nothing to do, I thought goodwill found jobs, no they find volunteers if they can or community service workers. Children run wild thru the store, parents leave them with the toys and no employee says a thing. Toys are always messed up and thrown around. Two stars for the employees.

Three times I have come in and browsed the entire store, only to find nothing I would even think about buying. Whether it be over priced, in terrible condition, or 50 years old. Customer service is 90% Hispanic and does not understand English. Could barely move through the store without being cut off or walked into by other customers. Nearly the entire store is racks of womens clothes/shoes while mens has maybe four racks of clothes and a half rack of shoes. All of these items (except the new goods) are free to them!!! Why is one pair of pants $10? Why is there tax on items at a non-profit business?

I donate clothes, household items and all our family shoes monthly. I went into the store to look around one day and I was so surprised how over priced all the clothes, shoes $10-20 for used shoes? 5.00 for a used top or 10-20 for the name brand items? Seriously if I donate things to Goodwill I understand making some money and paying for the staff but this is more expensive then brand new clothes on sale racks

With all the bad reviews I almost did not go there. But I am very glad I did. The quality and prices I found were awesome. Guess it depends where your from. And the service was sweet and nice. Customers had her believing her store was not great. Where I come from they want a dollar for a wore out tank top. You people have it great here! Anyone from a small town, I highly recommend this place!
