04SEP2012: I checked the website to see if they had a Razer Naga 2012, website said they did. Called this best buy to have an employee get hands on said mouse to confirm it was at the store, first they checked their system (likely the same website we can see) and it also told them they had the mouse i was looking for. After taking some info from me the employee went to go physically get hands on the mouse. They called back a bit later saying they couldnt find the mouse anywhere. Most anywhere else you look at a website, possibly even other best buy locations... if the website says they have a product, they usually do. Never is the case with this particular best buy location, and I imagine their in store customer service is still total junk. ============ Older experience with this best buy: Where is the option for zero stars? This store dosent even deserve one star. Standing around 15 minutes at the keyboards, never got asked if i needed help. Went and asked for help, the person i asked said hed be with me in a minute.... another 10-15 minutes pass, i go to the front door and ask the guy there if he could get someone to the keyboards to assist. He says hell get someone, and to return to the keyboards. Another 10-15 minutes go by and still noone at the keyboards. Then i decide just to get the mouse (microsoft arc touch) that id went for, and i go to the cashier. Theres only one cash register open, i was the 5th customer in line. I stood there a good 5-10 minutes and they handnt moved the person that was at the cashier 10 to 15 minutes later! Also, the website said the store had the 2-3 keyboards i was interested in, and there wasnt even an empty spot on the shelf for them. And nevermind trying to ask an employee if they had them, just not on display b/c never going to get any help.

Just ordered a very expensive LG OLED C7 TV and sound-bar from Best Buy in Sarasota on 4020 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231. When I ordered the TV they charged me and only then said Im sorry the TV is not in inventory. Then they say it has to be delivered. So then I had to wait five days! At this point I was so disgusted I told them to refund everything and then the manager spoke to me and said he would make it right so I gave them another shot. He said it would be delivered on Wednesday between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. I told him that doesnt work and so he said I can get it there between 10:00am and 12:00pm. I agreed and now it is 12:10 and still no TV. I called the store at the address above and they said they have me down for 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Not the 10:00am to 12:00pm I was promised by the manager. Even though I received an automated call yesterday confirming my 10:00am to 12:00pm delivery! So now I am going to miss my 1:15pm appointment. When I finally get a manager at the store he does nothing to help me. They never go out of their way. They just take thousands of dollars from you and then turn a blind eye. I will never buy anything else from this store again! This has been a horrible experience!

I went to go buy a dryer at best buy when my dryer broke. I had never bought a new washer and dryer before so we decided to get the top of the line. $3200 for both washer and dryer. They said "pay at the register and well bring it out to you" after we paid, 10 minutes later, they said "sorry, we dont have the dryer in stock" ok refund the money, well go to circuit city or sears. "SORRY, NO CASH REFUNDS, have to wait 12 weeks in the mail for a check" WTF? fraudulant sale of a product they did not even have, and they wouldnt give us a refund when we paid CASH 10minutes ago? Best Buy has way too many screws loose. Go to circuit city where the employees actually get paid commission on a sale,Best buy is straight hourly. so circuit city actually know more of what theyre talking about and actually cares about what happens. Also my friends laptop was taken into geeksquad, 3 weeks later they charged her $65 with no refund just to tell her "your internets not working" and thats the exact reason she brought it there in the first place. 1 star cause 0 or negitive isnt selectible.

I went to Best Buy on Sunday Nov 1st 2014. I stood in the appliance dept for 40 min wanting to buy a new Refer, Stove, Dishwasher, and Micro to spend about $3000.00 of my hard earned money.I than went to customer service and waited for 15 min than to the front where the greeter is or security or what ever he does. Called for a manager 3 times no one came. I had over 10 employees walk buy me with out a look let alone say anything. I watched employees walk in to work and clock in and walk rite back buy and not say a word. Than I watched a manager that wasnt on duty yet suposedly tell a Young lady check in and get on register please. All with in 3 feet of me just standing their. He looked me rite dead in the eye and walked rite by me. I asked for store manager and security guy said he was on vacation. So I went to another place where i was taken care of and they got $3246.58 of my money. Wasted an hour and a half their. I will never go back in their. Oh and by the way i am purchasing 5 new TVs next week and you wont get that money either.

You cant please everyone, but whats the harm in trying, especially since your wanting to people to spend their money in your store, if your not willing to be friendly & treat customers with respect maybe this simple job isnt for you. The 2 employees that stood out were both condescending, but one was an arrogant braggart who thought of himself as being intellectually superior, This man-child approached me & asked if he could help me, I asked him a simple question about the difference between 2 products, he began to intentionally speak slow and over explain the differences, then he began to ramble on about the history of the product, I asked him why he works at BB being hes so "intelligent" he exclaimed he was lazy, I shook my head & walked out not purchasing what I walked in to buy.. I think if BB paid more you would have "adults" dealing with customers not children!

Visiting from Mich, I have always bragged about the service at my local Best Buy. The Sarasota Best Buy is understaffed. I was second in line at the Geek Squad window withmy question, but when the employee finished with the woman in front of me she went into a back room never to be seen again. There was a long line of about six at the Customer service and only one women employee working. I went to the computer dept. where there were five employees, each with one customer except the dept. manager who waited on no one but kidded around with the staff and paired up so some customers had two sales persons. I waited over 30 minutes before being acknowledged and when I mentioned that I had waited over 30 minutes, no apology, but rather I was told rather curtly that "its a busy store." Look at the other reviews here. Does anyone from corporate read them?
