This was the worst place Ive ever been to for a cat vaccination !! Please go else where ! The management wanted to argue and antagonize the problem . They only have 8 carts available to the whole store so they dont have enough to accommodate the store or any customers . I was asked to take my things out and animals out of the cart with the cat in the crate because our purchases were not enough to use a cart until my cat was vaccinate already . My cat is very timid and has anxiety issues so I used a cart and had products I was buying and had to carry the cat crates and things we bought to give up a cart to a walk in customer and there where several carts outside . We went outside and got another cart in which the store clerk lied and said he already retrieved all the carts outside . And they came back again and took the cart started arguing and I asked to talk to the gm and they where not helpful . Standing in a 2 hour line with timid pets and products we buy is unfair and not professional ! Im very upset because we are great customers we buy everything here and to be treated this way is a mind changer . I hope that higher up hears the issue and handles the employees responsible at the same time and order more carts! This was unsanitary there was 2 piss piles right next to us that we asked several times to clean and it went unnoticed for the first two notifications to the staff . Very bad . Unhappy . And personally hurt because I feel for my pets to. Anyone that is a pet lover would understand this inconvenience!!! I give less then 1 star !

We use to go to the Store on University/Royal Palm Blvd and were upset that after the 2 yrs we visited to purchase our pets stock that we never received any assistance nor asked if we had found what we were looking for....then we moved to Coconut Creek and decided to try division on St Road 7 and Wiles....To my dismay my heart is sick to have seen the condition these innocent birds are kept in. My heart went out to them, esp. a sweet baby parrot in a cage below near knee level just wanting attention and to be talked to...as all the others, cage with a stick, dirty water, no toys to comfort or entertain them. Some did not hold good health..... I come from a background of breeding birds and treasure the pet ones I have! One lone Cockateil had damaged sickly bent tail feathers, one canary in cage with various finches (neither acted or looked healthy) lingering on bottom! This is not a successful way to sell fast but abuse! YOU WOULD BEST VISIT PETSMART AND EXPERIENCE THE PROPER ENVIRONMENT AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS! ALSO EDUCATE YOUR STAFF ON PROPER ANIMAL CARE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE....

Always plenty of parking spaces close to the entrance doors. Great selection of food for dogs, cats and all other Pets that you may own. Good supply of both fresh and saltwater fish (all of them look very healthy and well cared for). They also have a few cats and sometimes a couple of dogs &/or puppies for sale, or adoption. The staff is ALWAYS friendly + helpful and almost always greet you when you enter (no matter where theyre standing, even from the cash register). I love the store; except the prices are higher than Walmart and other non-pet-specific large grocery chains...but if youre just looking for pet supplies and food, this is a great store to visit. (Bonus Info.): They also send out brochures with some excellent coupons of usually 20% off. Also; great news for all of us so-called "older" MATURE customers... On the last day of every month; every customer whos 55 or older, receives an ADDITIONAL 10% OFF their COMPLETE PURCHASE!!! (You cant beat that.)

A good place to buy fish, as they have the most variety compared to Petsmart and Petco. They also seem healthier as we had bought fish from all 3 places and the ones from Petsmart had ich and died. This is the only store that sells rope fish, lung fish and red tailed catfish. However, I am concerned that the red tailed catfish is being sold to any fish owners without the proper information. They are monster breeds, meant for the serious, advanced aquarists that grows over 4 feet long and lives up to 15-20 years. My rope fish alone will grow up to 2-3 feet and live up to the same lifespan. I wasnt given this information about my fish, I was simply told what to feed it. Zoos and Petsupermarket will not take your fish back when it comes that big. Dumping it in the local canal is irresponsible and a catfish that size will wreak havoc on the local environment. Please educate those who are interested as like a dog or cat, it is lifetime commitment.

The leopard geckos were in absolutely appalling condtitions. I knew pet supermarket was bad with caring about reptiles in general but at least Ive seen a few stores make a decent attempt. Leopard geckos need at least 1 hiding spot to escape the heat (which is actually meant to be below them, not as a lamp). This store had 2 baby leopard geckos in a big tank with sand (another thing thats bad for them, as it gets in their lungs) and not a single hide. NOT A SINGLE ONE. Poor guys were literally baking under the light above them. Ive never seen such miserable creatures in my life. The staff is probably oblivious about this issue and probably dont have a clue how to care for anything other than throwing dog food in a dish. So disappointed I hope that they read this and fix the issues with their business and how they take care of the animals theyre selling.

I went in and asked for help for small animals, hamsters, nice...ect...no one really cared since it wasnt a dog or cat, After about 1 week of looking for what I wanted I figured it would be best if I returned the cage since I was not getting any help with the animal itself, because pets mart does not sell animals... So when I went to return the item they told me that the policy was store credit only. I paid with my credit card, I tried to call customer service number but I waited for 1 hour and Im still on hold, While the store is filled with teenagers and no store manager seemed to be concerned. So as far as this store goes I consider this a petfood store and a vet, not at all a place to go to for anything other then that. Customer service is the worst Ive ever seen. Thanks Ill will no longer give my money to such a store.

Horrible place, dumb & ignorant staff that dont know their butts from a bump in the road and have definitely no clue about animals whatsoever. They sold me 3 "male" Guinea pigs in January, the employee said "we only sell males" yeah, right turns out I had gotten 1 male and 2 females that are now ready to give birth. They have no idea what they have and just blabber whatever - well serves me right to ever have went there in the first place and even worse - being stupid enough to believe them. Theyre not only incompetent they are also not very friendly and do not like to be there it seems - very unpleasant and I will never go in any of those places again. I just feel terrible for those poor animal creatures that are unlucky enough to end up there. There ought to be a law against that ......
