I am writing this review because when I was searching for my pet the reviews about Pet World help me to choose this place. I wanted to get my Lhasa at a breeder but I could not find any in Miami I search for pet stores and went to some but I must admit that Pet World was the best one. My Lhasa is happy and healthy and I believe that is what most people want to know if they have to shop for a puppy. I would advise though to read the contract section B II "The following warranty is made" Do not sign B. Aside from this, the place was clean, the puppies where clean, and my vet gave him a tumbs up. Hope this helps anyone that might think about getting a pet. I gave Pet World a 4 star only because of the clause in the contract

The people at Pet World were nice and gave me a $100 discount on my cocker spaniel. My puppy is happy, healthy and a mild mannered. As fro some of the other comments: All pet stores are sad there are a lot of pets that need a good home. IF you think the puppies are sad your right but its not the shops fault. Pet shops should be visited by those interested in buying a dog. If your not there to buy then go to the dog park to play with animals that are happy since they have a home. I would definitly shop at Pet World again and recommend it to others.

My husband loves his salt water tank and my son has a fresh water tank. He uses this store for all his fish needs. They have quite the variety and the employees are very knowledgeable. They carry basic supplies for a wide variety of animals and even have hamsters available for purchase to. Anything yippy need in terms of fish, coral order care can be found here.

They will not hold saltwater fish for a period of time to ensure they are heathy, they will get the fish and sell it to you the same day, even if you request this at purchase they will not give you the option. They put chemicals in their tanks to keep the fish healthly while they have it. This information came from the owner.

I bought a Boston Terrier from this store a few years ago. The puppy did have some diarrhea at first, but the vet gave it some medicine and it went away. I havent had a problem since then. My dog turned out to be very healthy and well behaved. I would probably buy a dog from them again.

Ive been visiting Mike and Denise for years. They always have great stuff for my saltwater tank and always have the greatest customer service. In this day and age where chains take over everything, you cannot beat this Mom and Pop location- great prices and great people!!!!!

Have been coming here for years. They have a great selection of saltwater fish and corals. The reason I enjoy shopping here is because the ownerstaff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Not to mention they make u feel as if u are part of the pet world family

Great prices and awesome selection in corals, The owner is very knowlegable about all things reef. I had an issue with my reef tank and couldnt figure out what to do. After speaking with the owner a few days later my corals had life and the issue faded.

Wow, did you pay for these reviews? This was the filthiest fish store I have ever been to and I have been in the hobby for 15 years. Half inch of fish waste and dead stock in many of the tanks. Gross to the point of unethical.

The customer service is terrible. If I am going to spend money somewhere, I want to be valued and appreciated as a customer. Also, their selection of products and animals is limited. You are better off going to Pet Smart.

The owner is a good guy but I brought to fish from him and within less than 24 hours they both died. One of them had itch before I took it out the bag and it was too late to return it because the fish store was close.

Ive known the owner mike for 10 years. Hes a great guy and knows what hes talking about. Pet world has the best selection of fish saltwater fish at excellent prices. They also have a vast selection of corals.

Small with a limited selection but very helpful staff. This place focuses more on fish and their aquariums, etc. but still balances it out with flea medication, toys, treats and food for cats and dogs.

One of the best marine fish and invertebrate varieties in the area. Healthy, reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff. Too bad they are closed right now :-( 5 stars to keep them alive!
