The owner of the store could not be any more insulting, rude, or offensive. After calling the wrong number to have our dog picked up, hours passed by until she called again (this time the correct number) and asking when we were going to come get our dog. Not knowing what she was talking about, she told us how our dog had been ready for hours and she already spoke to somebody. She hadnt spoken to us. But did she apologize? No, she just said, "Oh, well, you know...". When I went to pick our dog up, I stayed quiet. I didnt like the fact that our dog had been kept in a small cage hours longer than necessary, but I didnt say anything because I knew Id blow up on her if I did. Apparently she noticed the anger in my face and, despite not having spoken a word to her, she screamed, "Are you always this rude?!" Really? After leaving my dog in a cage for hours longer than necessary because of your own mistake youre going to accuse me of being rude? We had it out. She didnt apologize. She didnt even hint that it was remotely her fault. She just screamed how rude I was and became extremely hostile. She accused me, "You never dialed the wrong number before?" I told her if I had I would at the very least have apologized. She claimed she already did apologize, but that was a lie. She hadnt made the slightest apology. Leaving the dog in the cage for such an unnecessary amount of time was unprofessional, but excusable had she attempted to correct the situation. What really earns her this poor rating is her abysmal customer service in which she handled the situation. She was incredibly rude and treated her customer with extreme hostility. I wouldnt go back there if it were free, which is saying something, because they do a pretty nice job on the grooming. But I cant justify filling her pockets with more money when she treats people like garbage.

We have been taking our pampered pups to Ace Dog Grooming for over 12 years and would not even begin to go elsewhere. They have always treated Annie, Katie and Abbey as their own. When we pull up to the store, Mayra comes out and helps me bring the pups in. Dogs are never running loose. When we pick them up, they are wearing bows and cute little bandanas.. They are in large crates when we arrive and really smell great. We read a poor review that a person had left for Ace Dog Grooming and after reviewing it a second time realized that the person had not had a bad experience but was mainly just Finding fault with things that could go wrong. Not things that actually happened. Better not head into a bank as someone might come in With a gun and rob them. Dont purchase that broccoli as it could possibly have a worm in it. It just seems to us that you were looking for something to complain about. When we first took our dogs in they told us the price up front. If we hadnt been going to Ace for so many years I would not be writing this. This Business really is run by very caring people and they strive to keep it clean, neat and love your pet as their own.. Their prices are fair and when their rent goes up you have to charge more.

Acabó de tener una experiencia maravillosa en esta tienda, por motivos personales tuve que viajar fuera de miami por 4 días y dejé mis 2 mascotas (perros) al cuidado de ellos y al regreso debo decir que los he encontrado perfectamente , limpios y sobre todo muy felices, estoy muy agradecida con Mayra la propietaria que fue muy gentil desde el primer día con nosotros y permitiendome mantener contacto telefónico para tener noticias de mis pets...en el futuro continuare a utilizar sus servicios de toelettatura y de hotel para mis mascotas, gracias por todo a ace dog grooming pet .

What a fabulous place!! I have a 12-year-old, sweet (sometimes grumpy) terrier that I needed to board for the winter holidays. We went with Ace because of all of the awesome reviews, and I am so glad that we did!! The people who work there are so kind and wonderful. They really love animals, and you can tell. The boarding room was like a spa! Beautiful tiles, yummy candles, soft music, it was practically nicer than our hotel on vacation HAH! When we picked up our Jazzy, she was happy as can be! This meant a lot to me, because this is not always the case with boarding my dog. She was super energetic, which for an old dog means they remembered all of her medicine and played with her a lot (also, not always the case). Last but not least, they groomed her before we picked her up, and she looked BEAUTIFUL! They did a fabulous job on her, she hasnt looked so cute in years! She smells wonderful and looks darling. I have been absolutely delighted with my experience with Ace. There is no where else in Miami I will ever take my dog for anything!! Ace Grooming & Boarding is THE BEST!

Poor-Fair isnt exactly the category I would place Ace Grooming in, it just happens to be the lowest category available. The personal conduct of the women behind the desk was pretty adequately summed up by another reviewer so Ill just foreworn potential customers not to be surprised when they try to bilk you for every dollar they can get. From raising the already comparatively high price $5 between the time you make the appointment and when you drop off your dog to including extra unnecessary and unapproved services between the time you leave your dog and are called to pick them up. Does this upset you? Try not to say anything about feeling scammed or you may share my experience of being yelled at out of the store and into the parking lot. As a personal of principle I paid the money and to be quite honest they didnt even cut my baby girls hair. $55 for a bath and imaginary flea treatment- What a rip-off!

This place is great. I left my Min Pin with Mayra for 4 nights. The boarding facility is beautiful and would make anyone comfortable leaving their pup there. Mayra and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and do a great job loving your pet while you are away. When I picked up my dog today, she was clean, healthy and happy. I was invited to call to check on my dog during her stay (which I did). I am so happy I found Ace.

Mayra and Barbara and their staff have been bathing, grooming, and lovingly taking care of Harry and Moocher, my two shih tzus for the past 17 years. When I had to put the last one, Moocher, to sleep, they wept with me, and somehow Mayra got me my current little foundling, Cosita, to console me. These women are great, and I will trust them with my precious doggies for ever and ever! Elsa Valcarcel

Ive been taking my shihtzu to Ace Grooming for the past couple of years and also take in my 3 beagles when I need help bathing them. They do a wonderful job cleaning and caring for the dogs and it is obvious they truly love animals. The dogs are well cared for and tended too while at the grooming store and they come out clean and beautifully groomed.
