Went in for 4 tires on an old F150 and John recommended a set of Cooper Adventurer A/Ts. Came back the next day (4/19/2016) and while John wasnt there, Jose helped me out and recommended the very same thing. We discussed LT rated tires, but he assured me for my usage, the Adventurers would do just fine. Sean, the technician did the work and was super quick, even though he was the only technician on duty that late in the day. We ran across an issue towards the end, but Jose and Sean made it right. Truck rides GREAT and I cant believe I waited as long as I did to have the service done. A side note - I perform almost 100% of the maintenance myself on this truck, as with all my vehicles. I know its not perfect with 240,000 miles on it, but at no point did John, Jose or Sean try to sell me something I didnt need or ask for. As a young family with our first child, these things add up for us and the way they treated me is truly refreshing in this industry. The candor, positive attitudes and effort that John, Jose and Sean all put forth will surely make me a customer for life. I would say, even if you have to drive a ways to get here, these are the guys to take your vehicles to. You wont be sorry. UPDATE: Not even 2 years ago we put tires on my wifes car at a competitors store. Within a week I knew that the alignment they did was wrong and had the car brought back, and of course, they claimed there was no issue. Well here we are less than 15,000 miles later and the tires are shot because of the poor alignment. After taking the car back to that shop, and basically being told I was a liar, I had my wife bring her car to these guys over at Pep Boys. John had the tires we needed ordered and in store within a few hours, and Tim and Jesse installed them, balanced perfectly and checked the alignment (that I ended up doing myself when the OTHER shop screwed it up). Since I apparently got it spot on, there was no need for them to do anything more and I was not charged. Did you hear that? Not charged. Absolutely phenomenal. This is how businesses are supposed to be run.

I had been going to this Pep Boys for over 3yrs. The last time I was there was Nov 2016. They told me I needed the valve cover gasket replaced and it would take 2hrs. I got there @ 9:00am, they started on my car around 10:00am. After waiting in their waiting room all day finally at around 5:00pm they took it for a test drive. Apparently somehow the mechanic damaged my radiator, so I had to leave it over night so they could fix it the next day oh and at their expense. The next day I called at 2:00pm and was told they are on their way to pick me up. The mechanic got here driving my car...not cool. Then a week later my car started over heating so on Saturday at 9:00am I took my car back to Pep Boys and a mechanic (with red hair beard & mustache) told me he didnt have time to even look at my car but I could leave it and hell look at it hopefully on Monday. I told him I cant do that its my only means of transportation I need you to please fix it today. That kid told me and I quote "there are other kinds of transportations like taxi, uber, city bus". I was the only one there and all the bays where empty & the mechanics were just standing around. I said to him are you kidding me, he said NO! He was not polite at all. I asked him for another Pep Boys, then his cell phone rang which he answered & continued to talk to that call. He handed me a piece of paper with two other Pep Boys in TAMPA which on a good day is an hour away...THAT PISSED ME OFF!! My car was over heating, I couldnt drive that far. After going there for the past 3yrs and spending all that money on repairs for my car that little **** turned me away! They did something to my car and they just dont care. Pep Boys can now KISS ME WHERE THE SUN DONT SHINE!!! I want nothing to do with them ever!!!!! Be fair warned...go somewhere else. I left and went down the road to another garage with no appointment they looked at my car fixed it within 2hrs and off I went.

My first experience with Pep Boys was fantastic. As a female, I often get treated either with a dismissive attitude or with the intention of trying to take advantage of me at most car repair shops. Not the case here at all! They were super friendly and knowledgeable. Jose advised that I did not need certain services that I was coming in for and it saved me a ton of money. I would not have known and he easily could have just let me go ahead and pay for those unneeded services and I would have been none the wiser. He also checked my car out to see if it needed an alignment (as the prior place I went to had said that my car really needed one). Sure enough, he called me and said that my car was fine and an alignment was not needed. Instead they addressed two issues that I was unaware of, there was no pressure to get other things fixed that I did not want. Friendly, great service, honest and has integrity - they have most definitely earned my business!!

I have a non standard scenario in restoring a 57 chevy. Wasnt sure on tire clearance with offset/BS and so ordered 1 wheel and had these guys mount a tire I wanted so I could mock fit. Turned out perfect and these guys got me in without any hassle even though I could tell they were busy. Hope I get the names right (John, Jesse and Aaron) all couldnt have been more helpful and considering it was busy and everything they did - SUPER appreciated ....... 10/10. Now i know where Ill be getting all my tires from (regular vehicles and my toys ) :) :)

Lucky to have a reliable mechanic so close to my work. The entire staff here, manager and his employees are the kindest and most honest people. I normally dont care to bring my vehicle to a chain such as Pep Boys but im glad I have. They do their best to accommodate the customer and go above and beyond in every aspect of their business. Thanks for all your help and advice with my poor Honda and then again with my new Subaru. You guys saved me a ton of money and a lot of hassle. I will always speak highly of you and your staff.

I have been going to this Pep Boys for years. Always loved the guys there and the service they provided. If there was ever an issue we got it fixed. Now I try to go in to have them put the brake pads that I bought on and they dont want to work on my car anymore. Just because of an issue we had that was taken care of. And I had taken my car there after the issue as well. So if you want to go there and then them all of a sudden refuse to work on your car for no reason, then go ahead. But I wouldnt recommend it.
