Brought in an old Schwinn Rocket 88 mountain bike thats been in rusty, weathered, unrideable pieces for 10+ years. Michael gave me an accurate estimate for the repair cost (confident but not cocky). A week later I rode that bike home, threw down a handful of bunny hops, jumped off 20 or so curbs, and had a ginormous smile on my face the whole time. Thanks Michael! I obviously dont agree with the review given here by Jordan Schiller. I had a few customers ahead of me and wasnt thrilled with the wait, but I had the right perspective I guess - maybe I was just in a good mood. Michael is alone with a handful of customers coming into his shop one right after the other 5 minutes after opening on a Sunday. Dudes doing his best and he did great with me and my bike. No lack of customers here thats for sure (my perspective and that of other reviewers it seems). When I came back to pick up the bike, it was waiting for me at the counter and Michael remembered my name. He also showed me piece by piece what he did to make the bike work again. Dude, Michael, great job man. Thanks so much again for the fix. Cant wait to stop by again soon.

I use all the bike shops in town for various different things, but Ace Metric is definitely my favorite. Be advised that it is a small shop with lots of very attractive and high quality merchandise, but not a huge staff to immediately grant your shopping needs. Take a little extra time when visiting and you will be rewarded with a very personalized experience. I think Michael wants every customer to get exactly what they are looking for and he will do everything he can to make that happen. Other shops might get you in and out in minutes but they also might try to sell you a bike that you might not really like. Other shops may also talk you out of repairing a favorite old bike and replacing it with a new one, (This is my absolute least favorite thing that a lot of shops do). So kudos to Ace Metric for running a bike shop for dedicated cycle-maniacs!

I have been buying bikes and returning to Ace Metrics for about 10 years now. Of course at multiple locations since their recent moves. Michael is the most friendly and knowledgeable bike salesman that I have ever dealt with. He is extremely patient and took the time to educate me as well as answered every tiny question I had. The store is beautiful and they have a great selection. The service was excellent and on time, I even got multiple phone call and prompt email updates since I had additional questions. My bike flies now thanks to him! I recommend this store to everyone, new and experienced bikers alike!

Ace Metric is hands down my favorite shop in town. First off they carry very high quality brands. Ive just purchased my second bike from this shop and I have never been more satisfied with the customer service, knowledge of the shop and quality of the bike. I would highly recommend this shop as from experience you get what you pay for. Mike and Nick are both very good mechanics with years of experience with your every day bike to very high end high quality bikes. I feel at home and very comfortable in their shop. Major Shout out to the owner of Ace Metric. This guy is the real deal. Very hospitable and knows his stuff, and isnt going to lead you in the wrong direction. Ive been wanting to purchase myself a Fixed gear bike for about 2-3 years now and i finally took the plunge. Beyond happy that i took a trip to Ace Metric and I Purchased myself a State Bicycle- Ashton 4130 Core-Line and i am beyond satisfied. Definitely recommend this locally owned shop and i will definitely be back for some gear and upgrades.

I had my full suspension MTB reassembled and tuned there. Work was done properly and in time. Price was ok. I can be wrong but it looks like this shop is run by the owner who does both selling and tuning bikes by himself. Perhaps it explains that he gets somewhat overwhelmed when there are too many people in the shop. My experience was good. He has lots of good stuff, some of that good stuff is quite pricey.

Always a great time going in there. Mike is just an all around good guy who truly loves what he does and it totally shines through. Not only is he all those things but he just gets it as well and they sell top of the line components and bikes. I am just greatful that there is a shop of this caliber in central Florida. I purchased a State Bicycles contender fixie and have to say the bike is awesome. Now the owners attitude sucks ass!!! The guy is short tempered and really just not a nice guy.. I do recommend Orange Cycles, the last time I was there those guys just treat you right and know what there talking about.

Ive been in this shop on three separate occasions looking to purchase a bike. Each time I was never greeted or asked if I needed help with anything. I would not recommend this store to anyone. They are to conceded with appearance and not with their customers (or lack there of)
