Just got my bike back from Island Bicycle after getting a new chain & rear sprocket installed (old chain broke after 2,500+ miles). As usual, Im impressed by the quality workmanship and the very fair pricing. Turnaround for repairs is always quick. Ive used Island Bike for the past 7 years for parts & repair and I could not be happier. We even bought a "Day 6" cruising bike for my wife a few years ago -- one of the most comfortable bikes you could ask for. Highly recommended for new bikes & repairs.

I was looking for a bicycle I could utilize around Anastasia Island and adjacent State and Federal Parks in the St. Augustine area. I ventured into Island Bicycles and couldnt have found a better place. Great lines of bikes and a very genuine owner who gave me alot of time and guidance in choicing a bike that I would get years of use out of and one that was built for comfort. Hes been in business for 31 years and by his positive demeanor in my purchase, I understand why.

I presented my bike to them today (Friday morning), and he helped get my bike into the shop, determined the source of the problem, and had it fixed in just minutes! My experience pretty much mirrors the first comment so I dont have much to add except that the cruiser I purchased at Island Bicycle carried me way beyond what I imagined it would. Ive been back a few times and the thing that makes this shop special is there is always a mellow well-fed cat(s) hanging around to give the shop a homelike feel.

I own a nearly 30 year old Schwinn road bike that needed quality service in a major way. Levi gave me expert advice on what should be done and what shouldnt. I took my Giant in for a problem with the gearing. I received it back with a new chain, new rear tire and thoroughly cleaned and tightened. It rides like new again and the cost was reasonable. Great service and friendly folks to deal with!

I have had my Boss beach cruiser which I bought at Island Bicycles for 12 or so years. Its aluminum and lasts forever. They just put fenders on it and now I can ride in the rain! Island Bicycle Rocks!
