This place is the worst Walmart Ive ever been in. Always dirty, lots of rude ghetto people, horrible. On busy days, there are not enough registers open. I have bought items there that where previously returned by other customers and placed back in the shelves like last night. Last night I bought a sewing machine that was over one hundred dollars. I always check the boxes I buy because I have had the bad luck of buying stuff that was previously opened-returned-not working-broke, etc. The box seemed to be fine. When I got home, I opened the package and the needle on the sweing machine was broke. I changed it and it broke again. I noticed the mechanism wasnt working correctly and that was the reason of the broken needles. When I went to return it, my husband and I told the lady in customer service that the machine wasnt working properly and that the needle was broke. We both stated very clearly that the item wasnt working. The woman (so rude by the way) was talking to another worker. They opened the box and because they couldnt take the machine out, they simply said that the item wasnt used before. We told her again we did try to use it but it wasnt working. We just re-packed the machine. The woman simply used her thick tape to re-seal the item (like if it was the factory tape) and told the other woman to put the machine back in the shelf. ??? No wonder why we buy crap at that store. Customer service is so careless they dont care selling non working items. Buying anything else in that store??? Never again!!!

This is the most disgusting, nastiest Walmart there is. The people who work there are super rude and do not care about helping at all. The staff needs basic training on life skills such as reading and the standard greeting of Hello. They never have enough lines open. They are always running out of items. When they do decide to stock, they have the crap everywhere, you cant even make it down the lane. The staff sits in the lane talking about inappropriate things that have happened to them that day and they dont even care that they are blocking. Its disgusting, the store from the ground to the ceiling is covered in flith. I hope they are inspected because it is a fire hazard and health hazard the way they are operating. I will just say the bathrooms are a science experiment in the making, I am almost willing to bet the next bacterial infection that is antibiotic resistent will be growing in this Walmart. I am not rich by any means but I will happy-go-lucky pay more at Publix or Target and be treated like a human being, have a fresh clean enviroment and be able to get my items that I work hard for quickly and out the door. This entire store needs to be shut down and cleaned out from the management down to the floors of the store. The people of Orange City deserve more than this dump. Do yourself a favor and look for coupons and skip this store, you might even find you may save more, if not money at least your peace of mind. This place shouldnt even have one star.

The store itself has a lot to offer, and the cashiers are great and helpful along with floor staff. The Bakery never answers the phone no matter when you call, but this could be due to the vast amount of people in the store at any given time. A few other departments answer their phone with an attitude like you put them out by even answering the phone. That is not customer service at all. The location of the exit for this Walmart is also in a horribly busy area of town. I have seen numerous accidents at the exit and entrance to this store. Ive started driving 15 minutes out of my way to the new store on Howland Blvd. in Deltona to avoid the problems this store has. But even the store on Howland is starting to grow busy as more people build new houses in that area. I get it that Walmart wants to build in areas where people can access the store easily, but when your store has a record of 4 fatal accidents in the exit alone you would think Walmart would think about where they put their next store.

Always a line and never more than half a dozen registers open. I really hate the atmosphere of this location and the Sanford Wal-Mart. The only one smiling is the little yellow smiley face sticker, employees are all frowning and rarely have a polite thing to say. It is horrible what this company has done to these people. I mostly shop at Publix and Target now just because of the horrible draining feeling you get when you enter a Walmart store. Gone are the days when you were greeted by the Walmart greeters, now replaced by the security guard at the doors. Gone are the clean stores and parking areas now replaced with cheap junk on the shelves from China, clothes that shrink 2 sizes when you wash them and parking lots full of carts, trash and dirty diapers. I dont think I could bring myself to ever return to the Orange City or Sanford WalMart again. It is a shame what the company has done to these stores, communities and their employees.

A week ago we were there and had to use the womens dressing room. The 20 minutes I waited for my child to try on outfits, I had to listen to the employees complain and moan. One in particular was nasty...every time a co worker would come up for something; clothes to put back, etc, I listened to her bad mouth every one of them as soon as they left. It was miserable to listen to and difficult to not say something. Gossipy, backstabbing employees makes this place somewhere I avoid unless absolutely necessary. I have tried to purchase vitamins there time after time only to find someone turns every single bottle on the top shelf backwards. There are too many other places to shop and another Wal-Mart just as close that is always clean, well organized, and I dont hear nasty things from employees. The bathrooms are too disgusting to use as well. Worst Wal-Mart Ive seen in years.

I have been a customer of this store for very long time and I find it very upsetting whats been happening with the phone Department in this store is every time I come it is closed even if it is supposed to be open the gates are closed and locked and I cant get the help that I need they have a very helpful staff but yet they choose to waste them and stick them on a cash register rather than getting my money Ive been coming here for years spending my money buying phones for my business and the guys up front have always taken care of me but now it seems every time I come Ive wasted a trip because I have to stand by a gate while they get the person off of the register to come and help me with the phone that I want to buy this is very poor management Walmart very poor management if youre going to have posted hours stick with them

THEY LOST MY CHRISTMAS ORDER. I received 2 confirmation emails stating that the 2 items I purchased online were ready to be picked up. When my brother showed up to get them he was given box 2 of 2 and they lost box 1 of 2. The box was delivered just this morning and the excuse im being given for them losing it was that there is a layaway mess from last night? how did that effect the placement of an order that was delivered this morning? how it that an acceptable reason. How do they expect me to be understanding to that? I would understand if they were still working through the delivery but not the fact they they are so disorganized that they lost my item. To make is even worst, the manager isnt even in the store and hasnt been since noon. its been almost 3 hours and they still havent located my purchase.
