Well 1st off I was looking for a job and I came in to grab an application and the guy working told me that they were hiring. Cool. So i filled it out and turned it in and was told to call back on Tuesday. So I called back to follow up the application and the manager was really rude to me on the phone. I was very nice and professional on the phone but he kept cutting me off in the middle of my sentence on the phone then I asked "Well would you like to me to give you my name*Cuts me off again in the middle of my question" so you know who to call back? Then I hung up. What a tool. Also on top of that it seams like Gamestop is a very exclusive company. What kind of video game store only sells newer games, consoles and accessories but not old school video games? I remember going to Gamestop years ago and they used to have a good selection of old school games such as NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, Sega Saturn and N64. Gamestop is not a real video game store if you just find the same games you would at Walmart. Get real Gamestop. Sell old school games again. They are just a corporation that is wiping out all the small independent video game stores out there. Do yourself a favor and support locally owned Video Game stores. If you are in the area go to Press Play Media near Barnes and Noble (which is a half of mile up the road) They have a good selection of games and old school games. Stay away from Gamestop St Augustine

As with everything you expect at least good customer service from a human. And who am I kidding. Cant really blame the business just their sorry employees they hire. I bought a game for the PS3 the one that still has alot of hipe to it, Assassins Creed Black Flag, yeah I thought you would know the one, anyway, I paid extra and I paid ahead of time because i got the email that said that i would receive one of those black flags with my game. Well I didnt. The oral sewage extractor they had working at the time behind the counter informed the flag was only something i would receive as part of the online gameplays for customizing my own ship. Apparently he had said this to others because he said it with no hesitation. This kept bothering me for some time now as you can tell. Went to a friends house and what do I see? His son is sporting that flag I was suppose to get in his car. Where did he get his? At Game Stop in Palm Coast, and he didnt have to threaten anyone. So i call Gamestop Customer Care, I tell them the whole deal and in less time than it took me to grind my teeth, the chump blew me off. like I was a prank caller.and ended the call like this: "since there is nothing else, you have a good day" . Have a good day!?! Are you freaking kidding me!!! I will never again buy anything else from GameStop again. I rather go over seas red zone and get ripped off than this. And they call it an american company.

Went to buy Gta next gen for Xbox One. I reserved it and it clearly stated everything on it with ESRB. I played the last GTA game so I knew exactly what was on it and what to avoid being a younger gamer. When I went there with my father the man working there (I didnt get his name) told him that it had more sex and violence then the last game. I researched it heavily before buying and I know it does not. He read out loud " This game has a lot more blood, violence, drug use, sex, and other things among that". Everyone at the store started looking at me and my father so we didnt get the game and we particularly embarrassed. If workers could not do this it would be nice. Ive gone to this gamestop for multiple years now buying games from E-M and this has never happened before even when buying GTA last gen when I was younger. Until this is fixed I dont think I will go there anymore. The prices were high before but it was with good customer quality, not high prices for people who dont like younger gamers and dont know about the games. IF I ever do go there again and this doesnt happen this review will be revoked but for know I will not go to gamestop.

As far as a retailer goes, its GameStop. Odds are, they have what you need unless you need retro games. However, the new GameStop promotions to push the knick knacks at the checkout isle is irritating. The only real "pro" to shopping here and not at Amazon is the ability to use Android Pay. This makes a trip to this store a bit more convenient. The major determent to my experience at this store is a specific employee. Ive called into this store on more than one occasion to ask if a game is in stock and received a "no," only to come in and immediately receive it from a different employee. Moreover, this employee is particularly abrupt and short with guests. Shopping at GameStop so often feels like a necessary evil. Employees like this make the experience that much worse.

I had read online the new NES Classic Edition was being shipped to all GameStop stores. I called last night and the lady told me they hadnt received anything and she asked me to call back in the morning, today. She told me they opened at 10am. It turned out that they DID get the consoles, and they sold out the moment they opened, actually at 9am, not 10. What kind of employees do you have wokring there? I was willing to wait in line overnight if need be, so that when you open I could get my console. I missed my chance due to this incompetent member of staff. Extremely disappointing!

A couple days ago I went to buy Black Ops 3 with my mom. She was hesitant to buy me the game at first but I finally convinced her to buy it for Christmas being that all my grades were good. Im younger and there was a man that told my mom specifically "I dont think your son is old enough to play this game, it includes blood and gore, drug references, and other things children should not be viewing." My mom decided not to get me the game after 10 minutes of talking. This was very rude and I hope it doesnt happen again. If I could rate lower I would.

Very impressed with Game Stop. I live out of town and checked on line to see if they had the item I wanted. It showed them as having it in stock. Walk in and ask for the item and they had it behind the counter. The staff was super friendly. The place is well lit and well organized. They are able to get just about anything in the way of gaming that you could ask for. Tons of parking and easy to get to. Thanks to the staff member that took care of me today. You were great. :)

Employees spewed lies about the Xbox One trying to deter myself and others from buying it. Ive done my research, I know which system I want to buy, stop trying to push your views onto others. Thankfully no one at the time paid attention to what they were saying and still purchased the system they wanted. You guys are supposed to be unbiased experts, not fan boys.
