I usually only buy supplies like water bowls from pet stores or if i need something for my dog. But they had a baby boa for a few months. Now I only buy reptiles from top breeders but I had my eye this little boa for a few months, this store...atleast from what i can see took good care of their animals so I went ahead and bought it. Took her home and put her in qurantine. She ended up having mites which really wasnt a suprise. I treated her fed her and have had her for a couple months now. Appears to be 100% healthy. All in all id say its a pretty decent store for a big chain pet shop. The people dont always know about what they sell but cages are always clean and all the animals usually have good setups and clean water. I think should treat their animals for mites atleast as a preventative. They are nasty little bugs and can potentially transmit illnesses.

Fish all have a permanent case of Ich, it seems, and their bettas are constantly dead. They may claim the water in their "betta cups" gets changed daily, however, when tested with the API Master Freshwater kit, the ammonia was above 8ppm, with two different bettas. If the water was changed as often as they claim, it would not so high. The employees are switched out every few weeks, and if they happen to be knowledgeable, theyre gone twice as fast. Dont waste your time or money at Petsmart or Petco. If youre looking for healthy fish and people who know what they are doing, and know about every fish they sell, go to Fish Heads.

This store is only FOUR years old next month!!! It is totally run down and filthy, looks like it has been around for decades. Animal care is not acceptable and their fish are always in bad shape for the most part, tanks are not cared for properly. This stores condition just tells me that the employees do not care about this store or the animals in their care. The inside of the small animal cages has ventilation panels and all of the paint is chipping off, just nasty. I honestly feel sorry for the creatures that have to endure their stay there. Very disappointing!

Their animals look better lately but in general the animals are in rough shape compared to the PetSmart just up the road. Kept having to return dead birds because theyd die almost immediately after getting home. Gave up after dead bird #3 and just replaced them with a bird from PetSmart (going on 3yrs now with petsmart bird). Have had the same issues with their mice and rats. That aside, they have better sales then anyone else especially during events like reptile rally.

Beware on buying fish from this store! It will end up costing you lots of money and headaches in the end! All of the freshwater fish are sick and infested with parasites, especially Ick thats impossible to get rid of. You are better off ordering/buying from a real mom & pop local fish shop. You will pay a bit more, but at least your fish are less likely to be sick. Fish shop owners take better care of their fish than these large chain pet stores do!

The grooming salon staff are excellent. I have an elder shihtzu who is extremely nervous with seizures when overwhelmed. The groomer was so friendly with our little one that poochie was giving her kisses and wagging her tail during her groom. This is highly unusual behavior for her. The groomer gave so much love & affection, that our little love was a happy dog with a perfect groom.

I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from here! I went there the other day and every single fish tank had atleast one or MORE dead fish, frogs, and they even had 2 dead geckos in a cage with one live one!!!! :( It was horrble, I will never return to this place again!

The store is filthy dirty and unsanitary. The associates dont know what they are talking about and give out wrong information. Will never purchase anything from this store ever agin, oh and not to mention that the mice we got jad mites. A total disgrace for a pet store.

Pets are welcome. They have knowledgeable employees to answer questions, grooming and obedience training. The classes are smaller for more individualized training. Smiles everywhere, on the employees, pets and patrons.

Although the young lady was very knowledgeable in the fish department, they really need more than 1 associate in this department. I waited over 30 minutes just to have the opportunity to ask a basic question.

Have taken my dogs to be groomed at Petco, the groomers are caring and gentle with them. All grooming is done in full view of the clients. Very satisfied with the work that the employees (groomers) perform.

What a great location. The place isnt huge, but has a good selection of goods. The location is such that you can shop for your pet, grab a lunch, and do other shopping.
