ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! First of all I called all around town getting prices and from what I gathered, Magnolia was going to be the cheapest. A few weeks later I had called back to confirm the price with someone else, and to make an appointment. The price was the same, but I was unable to make an appointment due to my schedule. The following week I call to make an appointment and then again I am confirmed the same price when deciding on a date for my appointment. Well, the morning Im supposed to drop them off between 8-9 and I walk in at 8:05. I have never been there before but when I saw the big sign that says "Please sign in" I start waking toward it to do so and one of the ladies behind the counter sees me and says "oh, go ahead and have a seat and well be right with you" as she motions her hands for me to go back and sit. So I do. About 30 mins later I hear one of the girls say "Has everybody signed in?!" Since I had been instructed to sit instead of signing in I decided to go up and sign in. And even though they saw me sitting there for so long, every person that came in after me got to go before me. In the meantime, one of the ladies that works there adked everyone to pick up or walk their dogs in the opposite direction because there was a pit bull who had just had babies and shes obviously a little tense. Understandable, but Then I am told someone is coming to take my dogs to the back and I am to come to the counter to sign paper work and Going over the price which is STILL the same as I was quoted 3 times on the phone. Not to mention I have to sign this paperwork while holding both of my dogs. Nobody came after a long time and finally I say "Do you know how much longer?" And the girl behind the counter takes my dogs back and she says "Ill take them back and then the doctor wants to talk to you. So Ill be right back!" It is now 8:45 and about 10 minutes of waiting for her to come back another girl behind the counter says "Is anyone helping you?!" So I say " I dont know. I am supposed to be speaking with the doctor according to the girl who took my dogs back." She says "Oh, your good to go!" So I leave. I am about to pull into work and I get a phone call from them saying that the price is wrong and it will be more money. I explained that after going over it 4 times I refuse to pay more and the woman on the phone says "Well, we can take the microchip off.." So I tell her that Im not changing anything and Im not paying more. She puts me on the phone with the manager who then agrees to keep the price as the one I was quoted (FOUR TIMES!). That evening I come to pick them up and it was a pleasant experience. Rachel (I think that was her name) was very helpful and very kind in explaining what to do afterwords. She was the only person I can say that about. I had to bring one of my dogs back in 5 days to get his bandage redone and Im standing there waiting and some guy (who doesnt even look like he works there by the way he was dressed) comes from the back an holds out his hands for my dog. Doesnt say a SINGLE word, doesnt make eye contact. Weird! A few minutes later he brings out my dog with his new bandage and hands him to me and he has a muzzle on him for some reason. He immediately turns around & starts to walk away. Again without saying a word. I say "Are you going to take this muzzle?" & he turns around and says "oh.." & takes it &leaves I was standing there with NO indication on if I was ready to go, if the leg was healing. I mean NOTHING. even other people in there were looking like "what?" I even said out loud "okay I guess Im done?" Today I go back to have their stitches removed. The new girl who works behind the counter tells me that someone will come get my dogs in just a minute. She called them a couple times then came & took one of them back herself. When she comes back she says your good to go & I ask a few important questions but she says "I think its okay" and I say "what does the doctor say?" I dont care what the NEW desk lady THINKS, Hello! Shes not a doctor! 0 stars if I could!!!!!!!!!!!

Im reading a few of these negative reviews and Im shocked! I feel like those reviews are people who probably cant accept life on lifes terms, ( like the life cycle of an animal )or didnt get the answer that they wanted from staff. One thing I can say is my wait time is appropriate. One time I had been there a little longer than I expected only because emergencies came in. My first visit was an emergency, so how can I get pissed about a caring compassionate staff that served me in the same way that also made people wait? I came for second opinion. UF veterinary school told me to put my dog down after spending $780 in a 24 hour period. A friend suggested Dr. Lee at Magnolia Animal Hospital when I asked if he would come with me to put my best friend down at 12 years. Oh Em Gee!!!! Let me tell you that this doctor is very wise. Its very obvious that he has many years of experience. Unlike the vets at the school, Dr Lee is knowledgeable about IMHA. The diagnosis was the same, however Dr Lee told me that if I can keep my little buddy alive through the weekend, with his specific instructions, and bring Oscar(my dog)back on Tuesday, that my the dog may be saved. Dr Lee was right on top of it when we came back on Tuesday.True to his word,we just went for our one year follow-up. One time another doctor had to help me on the phone, I was frightening and just learning how to manage with the medications. I felt like she was in the room with me when I was with Dr. Lee and that first emergency visit. I feel like she really went through my dogs chart because she knew everything! She spent about 30 minutes with me on the phone ( no charge) and after hours! You dont get that dedication too many places nowadays. The last thing Id like to say here that the prices are very reasonable. I havent spent, in the past year, the amount that I spent the first night at UF. God bless these people, may their cups run over with loyal clients, because they really care!

best place ever. my husband and i found them by accident, when hurricaine Charley and the other two tore thru our state, Our cat Cinnamon had gotten lost during the storms and when he was able to make it back to us after the waters receded, my husband noticed he wasnt acting right, and being new to Ocala, and we were living in Ft.McCoy, we were desperate to find a vet, We even asked a Police officer, who was directing traffic, where we could find one, tried to explain it was an emergency, he said he didnt know, and for us to move along so he could do hid job. We went down St Rd 40 , everything was closed,we were ust about to give up and my husband went down Magnolia, and there they were. Dr. Lee said it looked like our cat had been poisoned, but he would run some tests, and keep him there overnight. Dr.Lee called us later that night and our boy had been indeed poisoned by antifreeze, and there was nothing he could do because so much time had gone by, I asked if he would let us be there for our boy when he put him down and Dr,Lee agreed, WE didnt sleep well that night, and we got there as they opened, only to find Our Cinnamon went over the Rainbow bridge around 4 a.m, but that Dr,Lee was right there with him. Dr.Lee is a very caring veternarian, who takes great care of all our furkids ever since the day we accidently found him. He even gave me a hug as i cried my eyes out, and gave us time to be alone in the exam room til i could calm down. Best dr and staff at Magnolia, Love them all
