On Friday April 4 2014 about 3 pm I walked into the store on 5th Street on Miami Beach, FL. with intentions of buy another television. Through the years Ive only bought at Best Buy and I was always happy about the help and service. Unfortunately, the employees including the manager of the store have soured my loyalty to Best Buy. There was no one who would even look at me to help me. I sure it was important all the little meeting the employees seem to be having because they were joking around, talking to their friends on their cell phone, listening to music on their i-pods and just socializing with other employees. I did have a " Sony" rep. come up to me to talk me into liking a Sony Brand TV, Twenty minutes with no one to help me, I walked to the customer service desk and when the customer service attendant decided to get of the phone as she was obviously socializing on the phone, I explained the situation and asked for help. She then made some announcement for someone to come and help me, but no one showed up after the customer service person repeated the announcement several times. By this time I admit I grew tired and left my card with the customer service person to give to the manager to please call me back. He did not, nor did anyone else call me. It is now a week later. I was given the managers name as "Jason Yanez" but even though I left him my card, i never heard from him. I am guessing he has other priorities than dealing with how customers are taken care of. At this point I await reading in the financial news media how much sales at Best Buy dropped and the how it negatively impacted their financial condition. I was not the only one walking out of the store with the same experience. Garbage flows downhill and obviously management set the example here. Its obvious no one at Best Buy cares if their customer are attended to. There are plenty of other retailers who welcome my business. I will now discontinue shopping there!

So I decided to go there since I live in downtown Miami. Bought a camcorder (with no help because employees seemed too busy doing nothing and talking to eachother) but had some trouble with it so I returned to the store and was told to go to GeekSquad. I stood in front of the GeekSquad register and there were 2 employees in the back cracking jokes, looking at me, not trying to help. Then one of them comes, looks at me, turns on a monitor and........ plays Playstation!!!! Then he returns to the back and keeps joking with his colleague. He comes back not far from me and seems like hes trying to avoid my intense stare. In my mind I was like lets see how long I can last right in front of them before they ask if I need any help. .....10 minutes later-Im not kidding!, still havent been helped. And now theres even a Best Buy employee at the register, not far from me, doing nothing, not even caring if I need anything. A Geeksquad girl walks in front of me like Im invisible and goes past me, I couldnt take it anymore so I asked her if she was actually working and she was pretty much like duh. This is my worst experience in any electronics store, and I thought I had experienced the worst at Circuit City (RIP) in Midtown Miami. This is a brand new Best Buy so youd think employees would be nice, at least for the first couple of months. Dont they have training about CUSTOMER SERVICE? Next time Ill just go to Staples right next door, less choice but at least I know Ill get some attention. Oh and too bad you cant give negative points, the minimum is 1 star, Id give them a -5

I went in to this location with a pocket full of cash as I have many times with no problem ready to buy a laptop only to have not only one of the employees at the computer section power trip and not let me walk away from that dept unless I gave him my name email and phone number. Now Im not opposed to giving up info willingly but what I am opposed to is being forced to. When I finally made it to the register the same employee took station there only to harrass me more and proceed to get thug ghetto on me. He then called his manager whos name is Christian and must be best friends with said thug ghetto employee. Christian proceeded to get even more ghetto talking in street slang and telling me to get the f out of "his" store. He then proceeds to tell the assets protection guy at the entrance who must be from his same "hood" because that guy was even worse. Ive lived on South Beach for 15 years and have never been so disrespected however I know these guys are not from SOBE and must be from Hialeah. I went ahead to Office Depot on the beach and bought the same brand of laptop with more ram, hard drive space and cheaper. So all in all it worked out for me but those guys just made that store look terrible and by the looks of these other reviews they have a history and im not surprised.

Worst customer service experience, never felt like a burden anywhere until I came here and on the phone as well. The best part, even the managers are the same just as burdened as the employees. Tried to order a monitor over the phone with specifications and was told by a gentleman named ray that "we are going to do this on best buys terms not your terms". Then, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes to be told to hold on for another 10; To be transferred to another woman who was extremely helpful. She said my specification would be easily handled, all she has to do was to transfer me to the manager, who would then solidify the transaction. The young woman transfers me to the manager, who had the same attitude as ray and did absolutely nothing to help me or even make an effort. So then I mention that the attitude I was given by her employee and she acknowledged it as if it was a regular sequence of service for that best buy. Ended the phone call without any direction on how to proceed and was transferred by the manager to some automatic voice mail or something. Only person who stood out and try to help me was the woman who helped me when I finally had to come in to the store just order a monitor that could have been ordered on the phone!

Desastre mallll!!! No lo recomiendo
