I have been a Best Buy customer my entire life, but they have been the only company I have ever used for smart phones. I have gotten every smart phone from them and used their protection plan since my first phone. The few times I have had to use the plan over the years, I have had to jump through hoops, by going in multiple times to see the manager and to call in to corporate as there was always a reason they would not honor my insurance plan. This time they told me my phone was abused, when it was not. I dropped it, the screen cracked, and a chunk of the glass fell out. Due to the glass falling out and the edges being scuffed up, the Geek Squad Manager and the General Manager refused to honor the protection. After it being explained why, I asked that basically he was saying they can subjectively refuse to replace any phone for any reason, and the manager agreed. I asked repeatedly to see any specific documentation explaining why my phone was deemed not able to be exchanged, yet there was none in the protection plan contract and the response was just that it was in their training. This is unethical and unfair business practice and horrible customer service. I will look into legal options to see if this can be remedied, but Best Buy has lost a decades long loyal customer, all for not wanting to honor something that had been paid for for years

I only half understood what I needed to get my laptop synchronized to my regular television so that I could view live streamed programming. Over the phone Shayla listened carefully and advised me about the needed connector cords, where to connect them and what the prices were. Upon my request she set aside the needed cords with my name for pickup at the store. As soon as I arrived and another friendly employee in customer service, Teelisa, asked my name, Shaylas head popped up from down the counter and she greeted me with a cheerful "Hi Miss Elizabeth"! That felt so nice. Teelisa found the items and I was checked out and on my way home in no time. Everything connected and worked perfectly. Shayla made my needs her priority and made me feel important and welcomed. Very nice in todays world. Thank you.

Steven the floor salesman, left no questions unanswered, He was totally knowledgeable in helping me in my decision to purchase thru him and Best Buy. When he HELPS YOU SHOP, youll feel the easy comfort in understanding the High Tec Infomation , made easy, for the novice young or like myself, a senior buyer. After searching online with Amazon, I decided to for go the $100 dollars in savings by online ordering, with no face to face time to answer to questions except thru a ROBO phone number. With complete product knowledge made easy to understand, and the trust you can place in a companys representative it can only leave you as a TOTALLY HAPPY CUSTOMER, Ill Shop Again, Thanks

Ok, so the experience with the salesperson was really good. She told me how she was using the home security system from Guardzilla. By the way, I have a vacation home in Vero. So I was pretty excited when I got it all set up. The only problem was when I went home. I found that it was no longer connected. I wish there were some remote control or device to reset it when Im not there. So, my point was that the salesperson was good, but I dont think she knew that hers worked because she could sync hers every night. I think I needed better direction for what I needed it for.

Know what youre looking for and find out if they have it in stock before you go into the store if possible. Dont waste your time asking staff as overall, they are not real helpful or trained. Been there several times needing what I thought was basic information about electronics, tape duplicating, GoPros, tablets, etc. Not a lot of knowledge going on there. Lucky to have a Best Buy in the area and for that, Im thankful, but youre on your own as far as help goes.

My wife and I walked directly to the TV section and were greeted by Ethan. I explained the make and model no. that I had researched to purchase. He took us directly to the model and after a few questions regarding Smart TVs we were out the door and Ethan placed it in our car in less than 25 minutes. It doesnt get any easier than that. We installed the TV in the bedroom and had it working to watch an NFL game in less than 30 minutes. Easy Peezy, Lemon Squeezy.

Waited for almost an hour to speak with someone about activating a new iPhone I purchased online. Staff seemed to be annoyed with me asking for help as recommend by Verizon customer support. The only plus side of dealing with Best Buy for a new phone was being told to just go to Verizon down the street to activate my plan. I got a much better deal dealing directly with the Verizon store.

Geek Squad is a joke. I paid to have them come out and install speakers in the ceiling...when they got there, they told me that they did not know if they could install them or not. They would have to cut a big hole in the ceiling and then look up there to see....however...they would not be able to fix the hole...i would have to hire someone else to do that....seriously??!!!:

I waited on the phone for 20 min. and was disconnected twice. The person that finally answered was from a 3rd world country and I couldnt understand them and had to repeat myself 2 or 3 time and still got no ware. So after about an hour still nothing resolved with GEEK SQUAD. Find another solution to your problems Best Buy is not such a Best Buy. These people S CK.

This is one of the best stores, I have been to. Every associate is helpful and able to find what your needs are when selecting the right product. If for some reason something isnt more than satisfactory the management team is more than happy to go above and beyond to make sure you leave with a smile.

It seems money is the most important thing to these people. I had a problem with a portable hard drive. A Geek Squad Agent said hed format for free cuz I bought it there. Then all of a sudden they wanted me to pay them $100. Screw that. Getting my money back. Also the woman I dealt with was snotty.

I spent almost two hours in the store trying to decide on a particular computer. I tried computer after computer and was never pushed by the staff. They would periodically stop to see if I needed anything or answer questions that I had; but overall I enjoyed the unrushed atmosphere.

Know what you want and were it is before you go in. Very hard to get help, its understaffed. Hated dealing with once geeksquad member when I was having issue with laptop. Major jerk and if I ever need it worked on again would demand not to have him look at it.

Always do well here. Employees are extremely helpful. Best Buy is actually able to compete with Amazon these days on a great many things. So because they are local and have an easy return policy I often buy my gear here. Plus theyll match price. Win win.
