Terrible experience with the kitchen, I do not recommend anybody to buy kitchen cabinets there. I have gone thru a nightmare that actually has cost me over 300 dollars to fix their screw ups and more than 4 hours of my time going back and forward to Ikea. To start with, if you leave in an apartment building and your delivery hours are between 9am to 5pm, they can not promise you delivery between those times, they hire a 3rd party for the deliveries and those people have a 12 hour frame, so if your delivery doesnt arrive within your buildings hours you will have to reschedule (mine arrived at 5pm and the building manager didnt let them unload the cabinets), they most likely charge you a fee and it will take around 4 days to get it back, and again they wont promise you it will be between 9am to 5pm. I had to go over with the inconvenience it is and try to fight over it , at the end, I had to have the furniture builders go and pick it up themselves, so I could assure I had it during my building hours of operation, which was an extra cost for me. That is one thing, the second thing is that when we were selecting the units with the so called "kitchen expert" they have over there, using that computer program they have, every thing seem to be working in the computer and on paper and you leave very happy and looking forward to receive it. But there comes the problem, I hired a team of furniture builders to put everything up and I realized things didnt quite match what we saw in the computer. The cabinet frames are white and my panels were dark grey , there where so many exposed frame gaps that the kitchen looked terrible. I went over once again to discuss this with the so call expert and at least they recognized they didnt realized of the problem until I showed them, when the whole kitchen was already up. They tried to fix it giving me an even worst solution and losing so much storage space. At the end I had and Idea to figure it out but had to spend money extra on fillers to fix it, and all they did is say we are sorry. Do not buy kitchen cabinets in this place, rarely they will work fine and it is going to give you a big headache and a big delay with your kitchen. Ahh, one more thing, I selected a bathroom vanity they ones you pick up yourself on your way out. The associate gave me the wrong reference number and purchased the wrong one. I notice when the building crew told me the bathroom was finished and I saw it wasnt what I wanted....had to eat it because the hassle of dismounting it and bring it back would be too much for what it was worth.... People, read the reviews....and dont go there......you will get burned.

Magnífico día en Ikea! Buenas y útiles compras a buen precio! Para abundar en cuanto bueno fue mi día allí, les cuento que dejé mi bolsa en algún lugar de la tienda, sin darme cuenta y mucho después mi sobrino me preguntó: Tía, y tu bolsa? Buscamos en el carrito de compras que estaba lleno y no estaba. En fin, algún ciudadano honesto, de los que quedan pocos y no he sabido ni su nombre, la había encontrado y entregado en artículos extraviados y allí estaba. Es una linda bolsa de piel que llama la atención y dentro había una cámara fotográfica cara, mi monedero con cuatro tarjetas de crédito y una de débito, mi ID, un IPhone, ect. Gracias a esa honesta persona que es clienta de Ikea y gracias a los empleados de esta linda, original y útil tienda de origen Sueco. Todavía en este mundo abunda la gente honrada!!! Saberlo es el mejor regalo del día.

Excelente tienda una de mis favoritas. Sin embargo el servicio de diseño de cocinas antes no se cobraba, tenia mucho sentido porque siempre compras la cocina después de dedicarle mas de 3 horas elaborando el diseño con todo, en este momento no le veo el sentido y si no pagas no se acercan aunque tengas a un lado 10 agentes de ventas. Esto es un servicio incompleto. Por otro lado sin intentas hacer la cita tienes que perder tiempo iendo a la tienda en persona (donde esta el primer mundo?? internet? llamadas? msn??) y ver si tienen disponibilidad porque insólitamente puede ser que llegaste hasta el lugar perdiste 2 horas y siempre no hay cita disponible!!!!!.....=o. Aclaro esto solo pasa en FLORIDA!!!!

First and Last. The Upper management of the store has horrific customer service. They are incompetent, nonsensical, condescending, and inconsiderate of ones time. When I say upper management I mean Selwyin, the general manager/store manager, and Steve the manager from "As-Is". How these 2, especially Steve, got in a position to be in charge of insubordinates is beyond my comprehension. It is definitely a case of who you know rather than work quality. I dont want to get into the situation or this review would be 5 pages long.(thats the length of the letter to corporate) Hopefully, somebody from corporate realize these 2 are actually hurting their sales and wasting money. I say wasting money Because of their salaries and the 2 employees from upstairs who dedicated an hour of the companies time to help me with the products. The actions of Steve & Selwyin irritated me to the point of telling my wife to leave all the stuff in front of the cashiers without purchasing a single item. We wasted 3 hours of our lives just to realize never to shop at IKEA again. Any company who puts these 2 in a position of authority doesnt deserve my business. Save yourself 3 hours and go shop somewhere else. Unless youre lucky and have to only interact with one employee, the cashier, or dont believe that customer service is the number one priority. Then have a blast at IKEA.

I have been to many Ikea stores throughout the years. This one happens to be the dirtiest and most unfriendly. My first visit, the breakfast was under cooked and when I told the staff, the lady shrugged her shoulders and kept serving the under cooked meat (still frozen on the inside). This was about a week into the stores opening. So that should give you an indication of what to expect. The second (and last) time I was there, I waited patiently in line to pay for my food. Just as it was my turn to pay, the cashier closes the register and asks me to get in the other line (in other words, wait in another line with another four customers ahead of me). He sees me carrying two trays and trying to hold on to my child at the same time and doesnt even bother trying to help move the trays to the other register. When approached, most of the employees will not even ask if you need help. I was looking for a hamper and asked where they were and was met by "I am not sure I dont work in that dept". Its almost as if they are being trained that customer service is the lowest priority. They think that because it is cheap furniture people will still shop there. But honestly I would rather pay more if I could at least get assistance with a simple question.
