My 2013 Limited was trailered to Lakeland HD for no start issues, I had already taken battery and starter in to Lakeland to be tested and told they were both good. The Asst Service Manager said They would diagnos it for $100 which was fine. The next day I get a call saying the tech had decided starter was bad, they had discovered I had an ESP warranty so they got the ok to replace the starter from ESP. But no call to me about putting new starter on it. Then they call and say starter was bad we replaced and it still does same thing (parts changing?) My options were for them to disassemble the engine to find the problem but if warranty wouldnt cover it would be 500 to 700$. I figured the warranty had to cover it so I said ok. 2 days latter I get a call and they said the bolt holding the cam chain gear on had worked loose and backed out pressing it against the cam cover putting a gouge in that. The tech said that caused the cam to be force in to grind against the crank shaft counter balance seizing the engine. I had put 259e cams in 2 years ago with 2k miles 17.5k now.. I rode the bike 200 miles the day before no noises whatsoever. The next day I went to start it, it started and ran for 4 or 5 seconds and died. When I hit the starter button again it engaged the drive gear but would no turn it. I went in to look at what they said was problem, didnt really see how what they said was possible, so I said box the parts up I would take it to my mechanic in Michigan. I rented a trailer and brought it back to my camp site and was reboxing the parts for the trip home and noticed that they gave me the wrong starter. It looked like mine, but when I had pulled it to take in to test, I had cleaned it off (lots of road dirt )and cleaned the nose piece that has the o-ring, it had white grease on it. I pulled the one they gave me out and the nose piece was covered with white grease that was on hard not fresh, and it was covered with road grime, I called and took it back the service manager said well Im sure thats yours and I said no its not he went in back and comes back 10 minutes later with a box that had my starter in it. He apologized and I left. Now Im telling my story and can say without a doubt I will NEVER be back and I will tell everyone I know the same thing. I paid 779$ to get the bike back and understand what I was told about the 259e cams being covered by the ESP warranty because they were HD was false.

As someone who is avidly involved in the Harley-Davidson community, this store was disappointing to walk into. I travelled with my friend an hour and a half away to check out Lakeland HD because I had not yet seen it and I had heard mixed reviews. As I walked in, I was not greeted by anyone. I had past about three different people in Lakeland shirts before even walking inside; no one said anything. I walked through the clothing, none of the girls who seemed to be working up front said a thing to me or my friend. We were checking out luggage and one of the clothing girls with blonde hair walked up to us, we saw she was working with someone else but she still never made it a point to even say hello, or I can help you in a moment. We travelled through the store and checked out the new bikes, as we were excited to see some released 2017s. Still, no one even batted an eye to ask us how we were doing or even acknowledge our presence there. As we were checking out the bikes in the store, we noticed a Street Glide with the tag saying Crushed Ice Pearl as the paint and the bike was definitely not that. It was red. I did like the 2017 Crushed Ice Pearl V-Rod in that store, but considering no one said anything to me until I exited the store, I wont be taking my interest in purchasing to Lakeland. Hopefully you can work on the customer service! Ive been to plenty of dealerships and Ive at least been greeted by one person, if not all of the employees. And Im not normally one to write bad reviews, but I believe this experience needs to be acknowledged.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the assistance I received by Curly and his staff we started off on the wrong foot when I brought my road king in for a oil leak about a month ago . I purchased this Harley used and who ever had it before abused the shiz out of it . While they were fixing one of the many issues the under glow system was damaged and without missing a beat when they were confronted with this they immediately made good and replaced it with a modern one. As it turns out I had injector issues as well they located the issue and fixed the multiple problems . I know this particular dealership has had a bad reputation but it seems the New owners are spot on when it comes to taking care of the customer I look forward to continuing to do business with the new owners also my bike runs better than it ever has Thanks guys for your assistance in this matter My hog runs like a raped ape and I have a shiz eating grin on my face again. Fantastic experience and the other writer is right. Shaylynn is the best. I managed to limp into the dealership with a 102,000 miles on my 2004 that had a failing voltage regulator and failed stator. This was a Sunday afternoon during bike week and I rode from Baltimore with some friends. The service department went right to work to get me back on the road. Garcia invited me to do a test ride. We rode the Ultra Glide and the Road Glide Ultra, switching bikes on the road. I was hooked. I made a phone call to my wife and showed her pictures. Within two hours my bike was fixed, traded-in, financing done, tags transferred, luggage emptied and reloaded into a 2017 model. My friends were waiting nearby at a craft brewery when I pulled up on the new ride from Lakeland. I cant recommend them enough. After getting home I got a call from local dealership and I told them what I paid. They said I got a great deal and I smiled for the next 2,800 miles since.

Had a 103 BigBore and SE255 Cams put in my 2007 96ci motor —just months prior to the new owners taking over. I was sick for almost a year -took me that long to put my first 1000 miles on the new cylinders. I went in there said I was ready for the dyno I had paid for —they said ownership had changed, said they had to look for my invoice. They took care of me without question. As I hadnt been riding much in the prior year -I started have intermittent problems. Battery/charging issues. Oil leak. Stupid stuff that comes with age. They took care of it -got me in and out. Rode to the 76th Annual Daytona Beach Bike Week —it was cold; really cold. Traffic —stop and go. Opened it up on I95 which had no traffic at times. My popping, spitting, spuddering beast of a motor performed flawlessly. Thank you, Lakeland Harley Davidson. Thank you to CJ, Karen and Michael Lee in Service.
