I visited the Lakeland, Florida store on my lunch break with limited time. I needed two yards of a specific fabric for work. The website said the fabric was available but I could not find it on the shelves. There was only 1 employee at the cutting counter and no one on the floor helping customers. Reaching the end of my time limit I had to leave. I still attempted to make a purchase. I called numerous times only to be put on hold for durations of 20 minutes. Having worked at a Jo-Anns Fabrics, I understand how things work and with the amount of shoppers in the store I find this unacceptable. I enjoy shopping at JoAnns, but not this location.

Actually I would give it a negative number but do not have that option. The cashier was more interested in her boy friend, took my fifty for a $47 purchase closed the drawer then said I owed her money. I got no help from someone who identified as being the manager, never got a call back, and corporate was zero help. 47.00 ended up costing me 77.00, needless to say I will drive that 75 miles one way to the fabric store on the other side of Orlando from now on.

Joanns has great coupons sometimes. Im really only into crocheting so I can only review the yarn prices but yikes! Walmart has the same yarns for cheaper most times. Youre only going to get a better deal if you have a coupon. Also, the yarn is low quality when compared to a specialty store.

While it is obviously an older store, it is well kept, the staff is extremely friendly, and they have a wonderful selection. I was thrilled to find things that I didnt normally spot in my store back home in Greensboro, NC, which made the trip all the more worth wild.

Never enough staff here to cut fabric or at the check out. The place is dirty, wanted to buy a roll of batting but it was black from the dirty floor it was on. Staff dont ssm to care and are sometimes short when I ask a question. Seems like they are stressed.

I live over 10 miles away from this Jo-Ann Fabric.So I called to ask about something on sale and was helped by Heather. She went and checked for item and was back in less than 3 minutes with my answer.I am very pleased with Heathers help she needs a raise.

Just left there was treated like a lower rate citizen in line waiting on measurements for material me and my wife needed for our business. So I set the items down and walked out without any material out of frustration.
