Went in, bought 4 items from the 90% off area, and was charged 90% off for 3 of them, 50% off for the last (a picture). Also bought a number of other things, including a pendant from clearance at 50% off. Got home and realized theyd charged me twice for something I did not buy, and had not charged me for another (a pendant), and the 50% off error. Went back. Was told by asst. manager, and then manager that the picture had been placed in the wrong area, probably by a customer. The pendant I had not been charged for and I could now purchase at full price as well even thought I insisted that the pendant was supposed to be 50% off. They would not believe me until showed them the exact same pendant, hanging on the wall, marked half off. I then showed them the exact same picture in the 90% off section, hanging behind the picture that I had bought earlier. Next to these pictures were 3 bathroom art pieces, unmarked, and next to that, a metal art of a theater, around the corner on the other until of 90% off was another of the theater. Instead of acknowledging their error, I was told that customers put things back in wrong places. LOL, that is quite a strange customer, moving whole lots of art and rearranging them neatly on different shelves, 3 times in fact. One of the sets of pictures, I was told by the asst. was not marked by mistake and they actually were 90% off, the others were just in the wrong place. The manager then said, no, none of the pictures were in the right place, theyd all been moved, neatly, and hung in organized places by a customer. Must be Sheldon is rearranging Hobby Lobby? Anyway, when I questioned their policy regarding store error and unhappy customers, the answer was, "oh well". The manager, with his arms full of 9 assorted pieces of art, walked off to put the merchandise back in its rightful place. $100 bucks says he wont be able to find the "right place" because it doesnt exist any more. The assistant manager and store manager both treated me as if 1. I was lying even though I brought back an uncharged item, 2. I was stupid for not understanding that customers walk around with things in their hands and then lay them in the wrong places. 3. That I was an idiot if I were to believe that this customer "layer down" 9 pictures, of 3 different types and materials in an organized manner hanging neatly on different racks by theme. and 4. In a manner that did nothing to promote customer relations, good will, christian values, or even an apology and admission that obviously a store employee had made the error. Nor did they act in the same manner that many retail and restaurant business do, which is to offer the item at the mistaken price as an act of good customer relations. NO MORE HOBBY LOBBY for me! Oh, and got similar feedback from customer service at the corporate level, except they did apologize and tell me that the policy is at the discretion of the manager, who chose not to sell me the item at the mismarked price, but rather to keep it and for about $5, choose to lose a customer who had a cart full of other purchases (that were left in the aisle for him to put away as well). Bad Business, but theyre so big, they dont care.

Today I was in the Ocala store looking for craft cord to macrame aluminun chairs. Its not a very popular craft anymore so Ive had trouble finding the cord/tools. Three assistants tried very nicely to assist me with no luck. Then I met Amy, the assistant in the Arts department. She looked in about 4 different departments and, finally, found about half of what I was looking for. The other tools you just dont carry. I said at one point, "Amy, youre treating me like Im your mom. Youre doing everything you can to see that I get what I need." She said something like, "Were on a mission". I asked to speak with her boss, Glenn, who said, "Oh, it was The Aimsters?" He was trying to help several people at the same time, said he appreciated immensely my taking the time to track him down in the store and asked that I log in a review which I am happy to do. The store is incredibly stocked and every display makes one drool do buy the products whether you need them or not. There were at least 10 check-out lanes open with someone directing "traffic" to each. Wow! What an experience. Thank you.

The jewelry section is plentiful. The sake were good. The shelves were pretty messy near the front section & in floral from so many customers I suppose. The cashier called a mgr to do a security check in jewelry after Id asked to leave my cart at the register to check the bags in my car for that says purchases before being certain about what I wanted. The mgr assisted me in jewelry to decide on matching items. When I returned to the register, the same cashier accused the lady in line in front of me of possibly stealing something to which she & her mother (?), both over 60, had to defend themselves to a mild extent.

We were recently looking for decor to hang above our kitchen table...something that would go well with our chefs and peppers. We went to six local stores and didnt find anything that appealed to us. We finally found the perfect piece at Hobby Lobby. The price was reasonable and it goes well with our decor. Our latest project was...we bought a sea shell in CoCoCay, Bahamas...wanted to cutsie it up so we went to Hobby Lobby, bought some colored moss and used to it decorate the shell for our bathroom with a sea theme...Waa Laa...Color and appeal was instantly added to the shell

I love this Christian based store that stands behinds its values and morals that more companies should embrace. Are they perfect? NO! So lets not get our panties in a wad when human employees at Hobby Lobby make mistakes... Have YOU looked in the mirror lately? You who is without sin in your life then cast your stones. Get over the petty issues...love one another and FORGIVE. Life is too short. Peace and love to all. Keep up the outstanding job Hobby Lobby and thanks for sticking up for your convictions!

Not happy that my daughter bought an item and was overcharged. When she asked for a refund the floor staff and the managment was more than rude. They demanded she bring the item into the store. When she explained it has a live fish in it and she didnt feel comfortable transporting the fish/water/bowl. They refused her the refund and was very rude. Refused to give her the district managers info too. Not very nice eh?

I moved to Ocala 6 yrs ago. I was looking for a craft store and was recommended Hobby Lobby. Best place ever!! Warning When you go to shop and you plan to spend $30 it quickly transcends to $300 - so beware and take more money. Never disappointed - will be shopping again tomorrow with their 66% off sale on. I can put many items away for next year. #love this place

The atmosphere here makes for a very pleasant and relaxing shopping experience. I usually come here to find pieces to decorate my apartment that I just got recently and as always I find what I need when I need it. Hobby Lobby is well known for their great customer service and they live up to that claim. Any crafting supplies that I need I always come here first.
