As a customer, this store is really terrible. Messy aisles, roaches, staff is nonexistent, only one cash register, too many people needing help and no staff to help them. But when you do find a staff member, they are actually very friendly and helpful and try their best. Still, its not really worth coming here to shop. I thought this store was extremely horrendous--but then I worked there. Needless to say, the reason why this store is SO horrible is because of the Store Manager, Carlos. He doesnt give anyone hours. Which is why there is no staff when there should be. He gives one staff member too many things to do with unrealistic deadlines. Employees are expected to complete seven different tasks in under an hour WHILE getting stopped by customers and their questions/needs and WHILE thee equipment and computers are always constantly freezing up on you, slowing you down or just flat out restricting you from carrying about your duties. They are then scolded and have their hours cut if they dont complete their tasks in the small time frame given. All the other managers there are super helpful and make the work environment way more tolerant. Especially Mr. William, who really should be the store manager--he does most of the work anyways. Employees often hide in the back, to complete their work, without customer interruptions. Everyday employees are expected to leave the store completely cleaned and neat--however undisciplined children and lazy parents make this job extremely harder to perform--which wouldve been just fine and dandy, if the store manger wasnt such a giant IDIOT, and maybe HELP OUT, instead of giving all the task to one single employee. Employees in the morning who cant finish their work, have to delegate it to the employees at night, which is just adding more stress to the very little people already scheduled--so there are days where customer service is bad, and thats only because the store manager doesnt want to give anyone hours, because he wants that bonus of saving hours all to himself. I no longer work there, as I was only seasonal. But I go back and shop every now and then, and its only gotten worse. This store and its staff is could be totally awesome, if they could just get rid of that one idiot, Carlos Vega. Such a shame, this store and its staff gets a lot of hate, when its not their fault.

Store is messy most of the time. Toys are on the floor, in the wrong aisle, or have the incorrect price on them. Employees are unable to help you on most days not to mention it is difficult to find one since there are barely any on the sales floor. Managers usually dont appear when customers ask to speak to them and are also unhelpful in most cases. As a former employee, the work was very stressful and I was expected to complete unrealistic goals handed down by management such as cleaning and organizing multiple departments while running errands for management only to be called slow for not meeting their expectations on time. Most workdays I would leave at 2 or 3 am and sometimes was scheduled to come back in the morning after working into 2 or 3 am. I once even had a Manager attempt to restrict me from leaving the store until 10 pm when my scheduled time was till 8pm. She told me I was not allowed to leave because "she said so". Essentially management lied to an employee to restrain said employee from leaving the store at their scheduled time. Equipment such as scanners or "guns" are unreliable since they freeze most of the time or dont connect to the network preventing many employees from doing their job for a period of time. Much of the work place Is unsanitary with used soda cans and coffee cups scattered around the store and uncleaned inventory/warehouse for back of house employees to work in. Work is sometimes dangerous due to having to carry 90-160 pound boxes down very slim ladders.i was also never given a proper training training for my position and there is a noticeable degree of favoritism in the store. Lastly, the pay is not work the work the average employee goes through. I do not hold any resentment for any one there till this day and wish every employee good fortune. However, I advise everyone not to shop here or work here. Store could use serious improvement.

This place is absolutely horrible! The employees are ALWAYS hiding in the side room , ( next to the clearance and puzzle toys). IF you find one , they dont know anything about the toy you are asking for. This team seems to be the most unhappy, depressed and miserable group on earth,( Cmon, you work in a toy store! How much better can it get?)(nope, you wont see 1 smile). Try calling ahead to save some time?!?!? Yea right, they dont answer and when they do they directly place you on hold (without saying please hold) , for an incredibly long time , or you have to hang up and call again. Extremely unprofessional! The store is Completly unorganized ! And all the 7-15 year old toys are so cramped you prob wont find what youre looking for (did I mention they are the worst at restocking and organizing their merchandise , and will not pull something out of the back. Even if their computers say they have 3 of the item do not rely on them , they will often have just disappeared. But if you do manage to find what you are looking for dnt bother looking for the price you prob wont find it, just go straight to the price scan machines. And the best part, careful with how much they charge you! I , have had to specifically mention the price in the ad , in order to receive the sale price on several items at this store (funny how the ad does not mention anything about requesting the sale price).

Worst customer service I ever experienced in Hialeah, we tried to return a stroller an item ordered in Baby "r" an we called the store to ensure it could be returned to any sister property, a policy an alleged store manager maria, did not respected or wanted to do, she was extremely rude with my wife with an 8th months pregnant woman, I could not believe what I was seen and expected to see cameras or something, i am a gentleman and will never disrespect a woman but I was astonished, I could not believe that a placed that is mainly focused in making kids happy could employ a woman with this attitude, if you work with people I understand you cannot please everyone all the time, but at least try to be respectful, and polite when saying "no" that goes a long way. I added this establishment to Yelp so I could post this review there as well and make people aware of what they will be facing if they go, at least warn them to leave their kids at home before going. if you are interested in seeing the face of Maria the manager go to yelp, that is the face she had when she was dealing with another customer. will never return to this place again or will recommend it, my kids will have to settle with Walmart toys, but here never again!!!!

Toys R Us is a wonderful toy store where people of any age can enjoy and view what they have in stock. Toys, video games, and accessories. But although, Tots R Us can be quite a phenomenal store, it of course has its flaws. Calling the store and asking about a certain product to see if it is stock has given me a hard time to see if the product is actually there. Ive called them countless times about a toy for myself in a video game. When finally someone answers my call, they then leave the phone and Im left there with silence on the other line. Stock there is astonishing but rather phone services are done incredibly poor. Lastly, customer service is done poorly showing that these people do not care about an another individual. While of course there are some that are doing well at their job, decent to say. Overall, this Toys R Us is decent, the stocks of toys are amazing but just services are lacking at most. I recommend this store for some things.
