Yesterday I went to Sun Sports Cycle & Watercraft. I recently purchased an atv for my sons birthday at sunsports. I have been going to sunsports for years for parts and the sales guys always seemed courteous. I stopped in a few weeks ago and put a deposit on the atv to hold it until I was ready to give it to my son on his birthday. I called the day before and let the sales man know I would be in to get it the next day. The sales man was extremely nice and more than willing to help. I chose to finance the bike and had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the finance team at sunsports. I filled out the app and their lender sent me a text and I had to get on the phone with them to confirm. The phone wasnt working, needed a cord or some other excuse and thats when everything went south. After the issue with the lender got straightened out the sales man led me back to the finance office where the big shot finance guy sat in his office and scolded me for coming in stating there was customer data visible. I had no intention of going into his office in the first place and was simply following the sales guy. Imagine buying a used car when the sales man leaves you sitting at the table all by yourself when he walks to the floor manager and talks about his golf plans for the weekend cause he already knows what an acceptable offer is. I walked out and he told the sales man to get me out of there. We then ventured to the service counter to get a maintenance schedule. The girl at the counter asked several times what it was and we told her the make and model and that it was an atv. She looked for a few minutes and couldnt find anything then asked if it was outdoor power equipment and for the make and model again after we clearly indicated several times that it was an atv. I would hope that the service dept of a power sports dealer would be intelligent enough to know the difference between outdoor power equipment and an atv. Based on this interaction alone I wouldnt be comfortable letting them put air in my tires much less work on something my kids will ride. After several more minutes of looking I told the sales guy I didnt need the maintenance schedule and was ready to close the deal. She obviously got offended by this comment and muttered something under her breath. Round 2 with the finance mastermind turned into a battle of the wits where I compared him to the likes of a used car sales man or realtor which he took offense too(apparently he can throw jokes but cant take them too well). I have read many contracts and never had an issue and had a simple question about the coverage I was opting out of and asked to confirm it was as stated and he obviously didnt want to deal with me any further and pointed to the contract and said its right there in front of you and replied "am I as bad as a realtor yet". At this point I wanted to just walk away but the salesman had previously loaded the atv into my truck so I felt obligated to finish the sale. Moral of the story unless you want to get berated for not understanding a contract before signing it and be ridiculed by a finance guy I would avoid this place at all costs. I plan to purchase a rzr in a few months and was using this small atv purchase to see how Sunsports did business and I couldnt be more glad that I did. Needless to say Ill be traveling to Gator or destination for my rzr.

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST BUT THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION! WARNING SCAMMERS ALERT! Start off by saying this place is a total SCAM an RIP OFF. I brought a ski to them in running condition, had them go trough it an they sold me on a starter, labor an service, $500 dollars later. the ski wouldnt even turn over after i got it back. I called, they told me they would have a mechanic call back, NOPE! "Customer service isnt even in their vocabulary or being at fault for ruining your PWC . "THEY STAND BY THEIR CERTIFICATIONS ON THE WALL OF BULL" So next morning I went up there asking for management. " The front desk girl must have asked me what it was in reference to five times." Seems like they get this problem a lot. So the stalled about 15mins before management decided to show up. " Long story short with management, he said will give you a deal to fix the other problem with impeller housing "THAT THEY CUASED WITH THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT" an give you a deal on a new ski, when its fixed," let me sell you a new ski so you dont have these problems" Are you kidding me I spent $500 so they could mess my ski up an they were convinced I would go trough with it. Management took me into the service department an told them in service to assist me an discount parts an labor. So I had them look up the impeller housing part $380 they wanted for the impeller, an $100 an hour labor for a OEM impeller that would do the same thing in 3yrs that mine did when they got there hands on it some how. " THEIR excuse for the impeller housing breaking, its an old ski when we move stuff around for a service that can happen, will fix it. Are mechanics are trained an certified." " They have like 4 mechanics on the wall with CERTIFICATIONS outta the 20 people in the back of the shop working on Gods knows what." I found a Riva impeller stainless steel housing for way less an it will last a lot longer. " All in all this place is a joke an all they want is your money , they dont care about any customer satisfaction what so ever , they will give you every run around story they can. An try to sell you the cheapest part for the highest price. charge you An arm n a leg an still not have it fixed......WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND A MAJOR HASSLE.!
