Today (11-15-10), I went to Pet Super Market store 113 in Coral Springs (University & Royal Palm) at about 3:45pm to purchase some dog food. While checking out, I was the 3rd person in line with one registered open. The store clerks opened up another register, taking the next person in line, making me next in line. My clerk “Audrey” put up a “closed register” on the counter in front of me and told me go to the other line, I told her that I didn’t mind waiting and that I was no rush. She told me that “I get off a 4 O’clock, I am not paid to help you”, while I walked to the other register, I asked her what kind of customer service was that? She rolled her eyes at me, turned away and mumbled something under her breath to the customer that was in front of me and they chuckled together. I completed my purchase with the other clerk, the time on receipt is stamped 3:52pm. I thanked Audrey for her time in order to get her name from her ID tag. Is this the way that Pet Super Market’s encourages the customer service policy or is this a rouge clerk that needs a refresher course in proper customer service and being courtesy to the customers that pay the bills? There was plenty of time (nearly 10 minutes) for her to complete my transaction and get out of the store by 4pm. I have been a customer of Pet Super Market for as long as I have lived in Coral Springs (10 years), between dog and Koi fish food, we spend approx $1,200-$1,500 a year in your store. I am now happy to dive the extra ½ mile to the Purple Poodle to make my purchase in the future.

Pet Supermarket on University has been our Go-To pet store since moving to Coral Springs. The employees have always demonstrated nothing but the highest level of knowledge about their animals and a sincere desire to help their customers. Our most recent acquisition was a Ball Python and I would just like to add that Ryan, the resident herpetologist, was outstanding. He was patient, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. As a former retail manager myself I appreciated the way he asked he right questions to make sure we had everything we needed to take care of our new scaly friend without over selling. He asked us where we would keep the snake and didnt try to sell us another, bigger aquarium. He suggested the best heating pad and where to attach it. He patiently explained why one wood chips were better than another for reptiles and our snake in particular. Overall a great experience not just for me as the purchaser but also for my son who is the ultimate recipient of the snake. I cant thank them enough or recommend them highly enough. -Michael

Staff needs sensitivity training. Understanding store return policy since I have been a customer for years, I attempted to give the store back 6 expensive bags of treats that were just purchased since my dog was passed away Friday. This awful team member started spewing the store policy of not allowing returns without a receipt only credits for store merchandise. I already know this. She yelled at me that she MUST GET HER MANAGER HOLLY, because she cant she jsut cannot make a return....blah, blah, blah. I accomplished my goal and left the $40 worth of sealed treat bags on the counter and walked out. I urge all pet owners to take the high road and BOYCOTT this LOCATION!

Mar - Nov 2, 2011 Horrible customer service. Nov. 2, 2011 I went in looking for a parakeet. Once someone finally noticed us the lady tells me they all bite and we couldnt even hold one. Really how am I too know if I like the bird or not? Never again my boys were very disappointed. Finally went to the one on 441 and Wiles Road. There we were able to hold the birds and when we finally picked the one we wanted one of the sales people tells us its already sold. "Are you kidding me?" If its sold remove it and tell the other workers. Never going to pet supermarket again. Doesnt even deserve 1 star.

I went to this pet supermarket to find some items for a puppy that I rescued. Soon as I walked in, I was not greeted. I had to find someone to help me , and I did. He was just clocking in to work but his knowledge of the products were very little. Thank god I knew exactly what I was looking for. Overall, This store seems short on staff and the employees could use a little bit more training on the products that they are supposed to be knowledgeable about anyway. This store could be better.

I HATE this place. Ive been many times, gave it a chance, and no one who works there knows anything about pets. I called them about a UVB bulb for my lizard and it was when they put the FOURTH person on the phone that I hung up and will never be going back. Even if you dont know something about my specific pet, how can no one know if they have something in stock?!? Plus, you will pay more for anything there than you should.

I bougth pet bunny from here no paper on how to care for the bunny . I didnt know if it was girl or boy no information given about the bunny where it came from it would been nice to have gotten more information thats the point but what can we do . Overall the people there nice and helpful thats what counts.

Dont let the new store manager fool you. She is a stuck up brat and her team is very rude, unprofessional, and they like to be on their phones and have convos instead of helping customers. Also they dont give a flip on animal care since cages and units ARE ALWAYS FILTHY! DO NOT BUY ANIMALS OR FISH FROM HERE.

Ive been coming to this Pet-super Market for 13+ YEARS. Place has its ups and downs but overall the staff is very helpful and quite the selection of dog food, toys, hair products for cats/dogs, animals for adoption, exotic animals for sale, and more. Great pet store for the area thats for sure!

I love coming in here, always find what im looking for and i love the fact that they have coupons you can use over and over again untill expiration date, and pricing works just perfect in the end.The store is always clean and organized, the staff is very helpfull.

They have great selection of the things you need the most for your pet, staff is really friendly and willing to help. Price is but crazy expensive as compare to PetSmart. So definitely a one stop pet supply store Ill be coming back to.

Ive been taking my pups here for years. They love walking down the toy isle and picking out a new toy. Staff are friendly and have no problem swooping in to clean up an accident. Lots of dog and cat stuff to chose from.

No one knew details about products tney recommends! They told me to buy the pet supermarket brand nutro with no info. The employee who helped me had bloodshot eyes and she reeked of marijuana, lost my years of business

If you can find an employee thats not already helping someone they are very helpful and knowledgeable, they just need a few more employees on the floor that do not have to run to the register.
