Very rude and poor customer service. I just went in needing the whole gambit, eye exam glasses and contacts. The older woman behind the exam counter asked me what insurance I had. I stated I have many plans. I had two print outs one better than the other. Instead of her doing her own job and looking up my information she took the first print out (which I could have made up myself) and insisted that this was the only plan I have refused to look at the other print out that I had that which showed I had a better plan. Then she proceeded to get in a full blown argument with me and told me that she had no openings. Now I dont know if she was so rude because I stood up for myself knowing what was right. Or if she was a conservative and decided to take that stance because of my tattoos. Or even acted the way she did because she has something against veterans. Or maybe it was even a race thing because here was a young white man standing up for his rights. I would avoid his place. We have the right to pay the amount required nothing less nothing more. Not some cooked up price because someone refuses to do their job and find your coverage. Support a veteran treated wrongly. Avoid this place. There are many better.

I was VERY skeptical about trying this place. Id been out of contacts for some time and had been putting it off, since I have Davis Vision insurance, Visionworks is one of the few places that accepts it and might have my power on hand (ref -10.0). Anyway, out of desperation and despite the horrible reviews, I went to the Visionworks in Brandon Mall and I was VERY satisfied. I was there for an EXAM, NOT to buy glasses. I think the reviews on here or for the jerks that sell glasses, dont be fooled, they are NOT the same people that administer the exams. The people ate the Exam desk were EXCELLENT!!! The Dr. I saw was very thorough and kind. I do NOT have ONE SINGLE complaint about the Exam team. Ive not had to purchase glasses but just like any high volume sales place, the salespeople are going to "feel" scummy. Dont let it deter you from the excellent staff working in the exams area. There needs to be reviews on both separately, since they are night and day.

The customer service girl with blonde hair and glass who pops her gum is very very rude. Went in looking for glasses that were 2 for 69.00 special boy is that a joke she told me it would be almost 475.00 for two pair on that deal. Then I asked about using she said she would have to run the insurance to get a quote but could cancel if I didnt want. She gave me a quote for insurance of 500.00 I said no just cancel she got up and went to another customer didnt say okay thank you or nothing to me I asked her if she cancel she said she would have to call so I waited and called my insurance company when she saw me doing that she decided to make the call to cancel the order. My advice is to be very careful with this place and maybe they should get better customer service . DONT GET RIPPED OFF.

I called in around 6/7pm to schedule an appointment. The lady spoke to me as if I was an idiot and said Schedule an appointment for....?" What else would I schedule and appointment for? Then I asked her if they accepted my insurance, which I already knew the answer to, but I want confirmation from them. She told me her Boss said to call back tomorrow because they were closed. If they were closed, why did they pick up my phone call? Why do their hours say the close at 9PM when I called approximately 3 hours ahead? Also, I was planning to become a new patient, that was the reason for my call. I dont even want to go there anymore after the terrible customer service and the bad reviews I have read.

The doctor and staff at the desk (schedulers) were excellent. I got my glasses in February, this is April, and Ive had to return my glasses twice. Once because I let them convince me the transition lenses were the way to go. Mistake! They stayed dark even inside a building, and when I was outside in the sun, they got no darker than when I was in a building. The second return was because the anti-glare coating started peeling off of both lenses. I was told on Sunday, I could have them repaired on Monday. Today is Thursday - no glasses. I wont be a repeat customer.

Worst experience every. Doctors are impersonal and I felt rushed. I had issue with my glasses and not being able to see clearly and was told afterwards that was the best they could do because of the health of my eyes. I had them do a re-check and they made adjustments to my prescription but when I went back after 2 weeks with no calls from Vision works they could not find my new prescription or even that I was there. So now I have a $600.+ dollar pair of glasses that I dont see out of vary well. I will never go back..

i never write a review, the customer service here is gross one girl gave me one price then I sit with another she gives me another price , then get a girl that just started gave me once again another price covered under insurance then I was told verbatim Maam she is new and I dont want you to get upset . then they tell us 3 weeks for glasses after a hour . they are not helpful at all

I do not typically write negative reviews, but hope to spare someone else the headache! This is definitely the worst vision place I have ever been treated in. Not only the eyeglass section, but the drs office as well. The staff are the rudest I have ever encountered. They push you for up-charges and are very dishonest. I would not recommend!

I called to schedule an appointment for Friday of this week. The girl on the phone was extremely rude and it was really off-putting. I dont get offended or upset easy at all, but this just really irritated me, so I called back 20 minutes later and canceled the appointment. Never going to even think twice about going to this place.

I can say nothing good about this place. The secretaries behind the desk were short and rude, the staff on the floor was absolutely no help whatsoever. I just wasted my time! And there is no selection of glasses at all, unless you want to look like a beady-eyed 90 year old grandma.

Horrible customer service! I needed a copy of my script faxed to the vision center I wanted to use they made me wait more than an hour. After calling few times then they stated the doctor was gone for the day and Ill get another day.

Bad service, was going to go for an appointment and the guy answering was rude and had no idea about the prices. He says he just answers the phone, but how else would I get the prices? I definitely wont be going

Customer service by both doctors and receptionist are THE WORSE!!! THEY ARE RUDE, IMPERSONAL AND DONT DESERVE TO BE OPEN!!!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!!
