I have been going to this walmart now for over 4 years, only because it is the closest one to my house. The shelves are typically empty, the cashiers are rude, and do not even get me started on the tire service!! Avoid on a Saturday when nearly all the shelves are empty, people in general are pushy and mean, and there are only four lanes open!! The hair dressers in the salon, which I went to out of desperation one day, are hidious! They talk over your head, they are so rude, and they do a horrid job on hair I had to get mine cut again just to fix what they screwed up. If they took less time chatting about their upcoming dates and more time concentrating on what they were doing it would probably be better. Not only that they try to push the expensive salon brands on you the whole time..it didnt feel like I was getting my hair cut I felt like I was in a used car lot. Ridiculous! However, I have found that the vision center is perfect. They are quick, kind, and really really cheap!! The doctor is great with a kind disposition. I felt completely comfortable with them and will definately be going back. The garden center crew is friendly and helpful. They really know their plants and have helped me several times pick out just what I was looking for. The staff in the electronics department, when not overwhelmed, are helpful as well. They know titles and games very well and will definately be willing to help you pick out a good TV at a reasonable price. No pressure selling back there which I like! Note to those below complaining about wait times I have found that Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are the best time to go, there are hardly any customers and everyone is willing to help. I dont like the staff in the tire center but I have been there on a Wednesday morning and I was in and out in twenty minutes!!

extremely rude and unprofessional. We took the prescription to the valrico walmart vision on 60 because they had the frames my wife likes. The young black lady with no name tag obviously hates her job and your customers You have lost our business thanks to this person. We have been your customers ever since you opened and have referred dozens of people to this facility. Its to bad the original group went to another walmart when this one closed as they were professional and friendly. Stay Away! Go anywhere but here unless you like RUDE unprofessional disinterested help from this person. To bad we paid for the glasses first or we would have walked.

Couldnt give them negative stars!!!! After waiting for 40 minutes past our appointment. They came out and said they would not see our 6 year old, who had pink eye, because he couldnt do a follow up next week with her. Instead they are going to let a child go all weekend with pink eye because hes lazy. I assume thats why hes working out of a Walmart!!! Should have known better than to go to a Walmart for medical advice. Id probably be better standing out side a holiday inn for advice. But its the weekend and all the real doctor offices are closed. In short dont waste your time!!! Find a REAL doctors office.

I had an extremely positive experience today at the Valrico Walmart Vision Center. The staff were ALL exceptionally friendly and professional. The exam was very thorough, and the price was right for my budget. They could have a larger selection of frames, but I still was able to find one I liked very much. And it ended up being a $9 pair!!!! The doctor was extraordinarily kind and thorough. (Optometrists are not Walmart employees.) Walmarts optician and technicians were great too. I was not sure what to expect, and this Vision Center exceeded my wildest dreams!!

I walked in with my prescription, placed an order for eyeglasses, and was in and out in no time with a bill for $40 less than the last place I went for arguably nicer glasses. No complaints here.
